Have a Honda VT 500 E and today my engine upgraded so that I can make over the winter ne engine GR because it got at the previous owner a piston eater on the rear cylinder and now the time is to fix that again. The engine ran until the removal still perfectly only at the cold start was a flapping on the rear cylinder to hear ( piston tipper ). Will now finally be eliminated. Have now made a decisive error during removal and at the rear cylinder head this stick ine tubes where a vacuum hose comes on which brings the benzienhahn to open broken off. I got out the rest of the thread already only the spare part is not to get! Also via Honda can not get any more to this small part and at the latest in the spring I need this to get my moppet back on the road !! Has any of you such a part lying around and sells me this ??????????

Honda cbr 600 can speak?
Hi. Is my first topic. Hope I’m right here. I recently bought a Honda cbr 600 pc25 used. Is the lady (92) a little older but runs great. However, since yesterday she can also speak?! As soon as you turn off the ignition a nice lady talks something incomprehensible, but I understand my ingaged. The whole is relatively loud. I also noticed that she is getting relatively warm to hot. Temperature indicator is unfortunately dead. Does anyone know why she talks so much Is that normal that she can do that at all or has my before owner made something about it? If you need any data just ask Greeting Stefan,

Honda CB 500 CBF 500 or Transalp for beginners
Hello everybody, I’m taking my motorcycle driver’s license right now and have my practical test in about 1 – 2 weeks. Of course a motorcycle will have to come soon. It will be my first motor-powered two-wheeler. (Not yet a scooter, mopped, 125er …) “Mini-letter” from me: – 18 years – car (class B) for 1.5 years – 1.73m big In my short selection are at the moment – Honda CB 500 – Honda CBF 500 (also my bike) – Honda Transalp – quite something else? Tenprofil: – Mostly mediocre rural roads – often small, rather poorly developed rural roads – Very few federal roads/motorways – Very few dirt roads/roads – no offroad – Edit: There are also longer tours (e.g. a weekend long) planned Of course I will try both motorcycles. Edit: Is it as easy to throttle the Transalp / CBF 500 as the throttle of the CB 500 Which motorcycle would you recommend to me? Advantages/disadvantages? Price/Performance ? Also subjective opinions Why is the price difference between CB 500 and Transalp so great with the same age? My budget: 1500€ – 350€ Thanks for the answers

Honda CB 400 doesn’t start anymore
Very nice Hello to all those who know about motorcycles, have huge problems with my Honda Cb 400 n. In the morning she jumped still great as always on, for lunch break………. it was over. Try to make them run fail, she is only orgling. Battery is 2 years old, tank full. According to Internet search mostly comes the topic carburettor, resinated and, and, and, and our old workshop……….is unfortunately no longer there, the good soul to man has gone into retirement….probably verd ient! The new one where she wants to pick up on Saturday said if that still pays off to fix this old machine!!! Because phone diagnosis: alternator broken. Actually she is there, had never really had problems with her. Wouldn’t it be nice if someone might know something from experience?

Gearboxes howl
Hello to the screwdriver round, bought in the fall and in the winter a 75′ CB 400 Four puffed up – a really nice neoclassic. Now a problem I could not crack. No matter which gear, syncron with the speed the good piece howls. To limit the problem a few facts: howling only with inserted gear under load, i.e. during normal driving or when accelerating howling not with pulled clutch howling not in sliding operation (motor brake). t a little worn out, i.e. the rivets that hold the basket on the gear are a little loose, so that it clatters a bit in idle. However, with pulled coupling no difference Chain set is new Engine temperature makes no difference I type on gear bearing. However, the transmission can be switched honda soft. So-now you come. Any hot tips?

Dominator NX 500 to be revived
Good day , together! For now, I am new here and at home in Austria. I ask you to help me here with some! Questions. About 5 years ago, the motorcycle, I do not think properly, was parked and covered. Today I washed the device once, dried with air and then it came “thick”. The tank is full and rusty at the filler. The battery of course broke. I therefore took from the model construction a 12V 6,5 Ah battery, (accumulator) . Electrically everything works. (Light, Blink) he, brake light, horn), only when starting moves only in the relay? something, a “rattle”, otherwise nothing happens. There is nothing to hear from the starter, no reaction. Further, but I think that is too much of the questions, I see as layman, the rims have small corr. stains. Can, or with what can I clean this. Also the spokes. What the engine reaches: I pushed the motorcycle in 4th or 5th gear. Seems, the piston etc. are not damaged. Could you please give me some tips so that On the speedometer: about 1050 km!!!! real. My son almost never drove. Now it makes me itchy, with my 58 years. (in the 80’s I had an XL 500 under the butt.”g”. Thank you very much in the past, and a nice Sunday, as well as an accident-free ride, Karl-H. P.S. sure you have other problems to fix.?

Honda CBF 600 ode CB 1300
Hello everybody! For 2 weeks now, after passing the driver’s license test, I have been allowed to join the ranks of the motorcyclists. After this bureaucratic hurdle there is now also a practical and far more fun challenge – the motorcycle purchase. After a long time back and forth, I got carried away to Honda, also by the positive experiences of good friends, and shot myself on motorcycles of this brand. Apart from that, I have it above all on Nakedbikes and am so, almost autom A bit of a displacement, however, should be left in the back of the engine. In the first one and a half years I have to have a throttle in the machine, the pure power would easily be the CBF 600 in question. A bit of a cylinder capacity should be left behind, however, if I had to have a throttle in the machine, I would be able to get the CBF 600 from the pure power. r. I’m not a friend of high speeds, which is why my machine should also start with power from the speed cellar – with proper power reserves out of the top (otherwise I only drive engine-strong diesel in cars and trucks). However, the motorcycle should also be fit for travel and also bring potential for the years after the throttle. At the beginning I want to let it go quietly – it takes everything “experience”. From you I want to know which machine would recommend to you. t and why. Please make concrete counter questions so that you can specify your judgment. In advance I thank you for your help and look forward to a lively participation. Greetings de Kölsche
