  • Start problems with warm engine

Hello guys, have a problem with the cx 500 c of my friend! In cold condition she jumps on the first pusher, she is warm driven it can happen that he doesn’t jump on it anymore and indeed until he has let it cool down for some time again. In addition, the machine needs a lot of fuel(9 liters according to his statement) ! An acquaintance in turn means it is due to the alternator !!!??? These I measured, the resistance between the yellow phases are ok, I measure against Mass have all phases of passage! Shouldn’t be like this! But how does the connection with the bad jump-in in the warm state? If at all! Charging current I measured only in the stationary gas and the value remains constant at 12.7 volts! Does this change only if the speed is increased or can the alternator generate electricity at all if the mass connection is available? I would be grateful for a few tips….

  • ABS? CBR600RR

Hi first time. I’m new to you. Is there a lot going on with you so far Since I have read it here and have also read most Honda reports that the new CBR 600 RR (jg. 09) ABS gets I wanted to ask if it is also possible to upgrade its old CBR 600 RR (e.g. model year 06) with ABS? Is actually theoretically powerable or??? thank you already for the answers

  • paa things to my CB450S

So…it is fueled. Normal it needs 4.5 liters. Sometimes I refueled but 5.5 or even 6. It stands quite a lot.Can it be that with the heat evaporates so much fuel ?? By driving not to explain. Then driven: must say 500 cubic and 5-6 sec on a hundred are nevertheless a word. To me that is enough, beginner bike to or from. Drive them in the 5th year and certainly still three. Or longer. Much helps a lot. Can you always say. ” 30 years ago a 500er was a sharp gun”. That my life after more than a few hours no longer starts (if carburettor is not filled up again) is then probably really on the other fuel today like me “Motorrad” wrote on reader’s letter and printed off. Also there printed but further unresolved, that one should refuel after 200km. Because reserve never goes .All usual things (petrol valve, pollution, connection right ? , error also without petrol filter there) cleared 100 percent. Also lies clearly at the filling level. There is only a narrowing of the gas hose. So in the part what goes on the carburettors. Only he had the carburettors in the workshop up and there allegedly also found nothing. Should you still not be able to find … apparently. Tanks always very early.

  • Presentation and first question about Honda CBF600

Hello, I want to introduce myself here in the motorcycle forum … I have been represented here for a long time with my VW-Caddy in the car part. Recently I have my motorcycle driver’s license and have perceived the driver’s license action of Honda and bought me a CBF 600 SA. I am still “bloodier” beginner with regard to the motorcycle driving. Therefore I also have a question, where I am unsure … my dealer thinks this would be so OK but I am surprised. So, with my new M aschiene grind front and rear wheel something … my dealer thinks the brake discs have a small “stroke” and thus the brake calipers would be pushed back again and again … ? i.e. I always have some wear on brake block and brake disc and a little more consumption, right? Is this so right, or did they just tell me ??? Would be nice to get a feedback, thank you greeting, alfeistos

  • From now on we are the “new” in the Honda Motorcycle Forum

Hello! Since yesterday we own a 125 he Honda Rebel. The previous owner was my wife’s father, who mostly only drove distances up to about 2 km. Nevertheless, we were able to drive the 300 km home by ourselves yesterday. Today we came to the Tüv and got through with slight defects and were able to allow the motor wheel. Have an acquaintance who is a two-wheeled mechanic and drives a Rebel himself. Together with him we will now make a big service. Greeting We ini69

  • Help!

Hi guys, I’m new to the forum and hope you can help me with my “problem child”. In my garage there is a 1985 Honda shadow VT500 c, which probably still ran without problems last year. (is my mother’s motorcycle.) Since it would be too bad to just have the motorcycle standing around, I wanted to make it ready to drive again. First it turned out that the battery was dead, so new battery was in and started: engine ran, however, started to stutter when giving gas, and after 1 to 2 sec I assumed that the carburettor would have to be cleaned again, built it up and read it ultrasonic clean. When I then installed it again, the problem was still there, only to that the machine went out, when I gave gas in idle mode with cold engine…. I then tried to spray the suction nozzles with combustible rim cleaner to control it on side air, nothing happened, too :/ Then thought i ch, it could be the gas tap, which I disassembled and tested for efficiency, which was also fine. So: gasifier is clean, gasoline tap is also renewed, and the suction nozzles should also be tight. I also renewed spark plugs symptoms: in idle mode the machine goes cold when the gas levers run out or stutters, warm remains the speed to give the gas and still take away after gas for a while. If someone could help me, that would be great! I can’t think of anything anymore :/

  • Carburettor set at the VT500E

I chased the carburettor through the ultrasonic bath and after the re-installation also synkroniesiert exactly as the manual describes it ! Also the setting I tried after I heard the radiator fan run 2 times . Before removal was the front on 6 turns and the rear on 3-1/2 set it according to the manual both set to 2-1/2 but with Chock only got bad but after it warm true everything perfect when I set them both again as they before the Extension were they jumps with Chock impeccable but bangs in both pots while taking gas. Will the good piece but also not drive to Klummp because when adjusting can also run a lot wrong. I now set the rear to 2-1/5 and the demand on 4 and the Chock makes also flawlessly even the oil smell from the rear is gone, however I have to go to Tüv in July and have thought about the AU.
