  • Starting a Honda XL 600R

Hello everyone, who can tell me how to start a Honda XL 600R properly with Kickstarter. I bought an old Enduro from 1983, but they don’t get to run. Ignition spark and compression are available. It has run 44000km. Please only statements from connoisseurs, no Larifari, or talk about it! Thank you in advance!

  • SL 125 Engine problem

Hello, a Honda SL 125 Bj 1974 has been at my home for a long time. In itself very well preserved, it would hardly, or no restoration work would be necessary, apart from a fine crack in the crankcase, on the oil drain screw. Since the crankcase is one, I believe aluminum casting part, without seperate oil tray, I can exchange this also only hard, without immediately installing a new engine. Despite a long search, I have neither an engine, nor reasonable ideas for reperatur/abdi I tried to cut a larger thread at the oil drain screw, but the crack was “cut with”, so it still exists. The question is now, since the Honda unfortunately loses dripping oil, I won’t bring it through the tuv, what could I do to seal the crack, or where can I get a new engine from? Thanks already in advance Michael P.S. if necessary I can attach pictures of course.

  • Scrambler Conversion

Moin, a short preview on my part – come from the far north and actually drive BMW R1100 GS, but also have an XL600LM, which I want to convert to the Scrambler! Now just throw the question into the room, has someone done that before? If yes, with tips and experiences. The conversion should run as TÜV compliant as possible! Therefore first the most obvious questions: Shorten rear frame – possible TÜV entry? What max. tire width can I with the Origin Enduro or Trial profile of course!!! Which smaller rim instead of the 19″ fits in front of the fork? And maximum width?! Or which other rims can I install without problems with the TÜV? Which shorter suspension leg for the rear? Ideas for the tank, exhaust and cracker? So thank you for the start and hopefully also for the many upcoming tips?!!! Gruss Tammo

  • Cb 500 purchase???

Hello! I am 18 and I made my motorcycle driver license in March 2003. now I finally got the money for a used cb500n together. I already have one in visier! but I am still unsure.want to ask what you mean about it…? machine has 58ps build year 96 and has only 4 tkm on it, because she was driven by a woman and is now sold from health reasons. looks still like new, only the running performance bothers me a little. the salesman demands 3000€ for it and has assured me that the km are real. I think the price is a little too high.I think so on 2000€ more is not my savings pig. is it good that the machine has run after almost 7 only 4tkm …?on which I should pay special attention when buying? thank you in advance!!! Greetings to all bikers!!

  • New introduction of…MIR 🙂

Hello municipality, I am André, 28 years old and live in Augsburg. I was owner of a Harley Ironhead from 1978 for a while, unfortunately this machine was stolen from the underground garage 2 years ago Then I had a few years due to my 2nd apprenticeship no machine, now finally a motorcycle again. Although not Harley, but an older Honda CB PC32 does it also 🙂 It serves me (if not snow) also as everyday driving time on the way to work. I used to have a ine little Honda Shadow 125er, so I am also very much a Honda driver, just good motorcycles! The CB with its 57 HP is not the Burner, but nice tours you can also do with her. Technically I have changed nothing at all about it, but I leave the small disc at the front, because I also leave it on the road every now and then and here is resident parking (means an annoying ID, which fits well behind the disc, when it stands there) Otherwise I am looking forward to g It’s been a long time since we’ve been talking.

  • Kamikaze on Pentecost Monday

Must get rid of something at this point; even if I don’t want to break records with my CB myself, what I have experienced today on the A4 height of Nossener Triangle direction Erfurt, makes me goose bumps. With already dense return traffic a Kawa driver with CB-marks must push on the third track at approx. 160 things, although the track is full and rolls. His safety distance at most 5 meters. What is that supposed to do? I have no understanding for this. And since I am sure that such a e Driving is not going well forever, I only hope that this type (how to call such a driver) will not destroy others with it. Because otherwise it was an amazingly quiet and fair road traffic of all participants today. Thank you! Gunder

  • Scrap value 100€? CBR 600 F Sport

Meal to all Honda Bikers Now I have to ask you specialists a difficult question, hardly think that I can get a suitable answer. And this is about a Honda CBR 600 F Sport Built 02/2002 My brother had an accident with this about 2 years ago and has now triggered the moped and can theoretically sell the part. He was at the dealer today and he said he would give him a maximum of 100€, although that would actually be too much. It’s a lot broken and it can’t start with the parts because a Honda would never break anything like that Well, I’ll pack in 2 pictures, but of course you don’t see much. Do you have a clue what else you can get? Because 100€ seems to be a “pretty” to us. Probably he’ll still earn a golden nose dadran.

  • Cost of large inspection CBR 600

Hi! Just got a heart attack when I picked up my CBR 600 (PC31) from the 24,000. EUR 730 for inspection!!! With brakes and tires everything was ok. Is this normal??? Would you be very grateful if you could share your experiences with me. Axel

  • Fans and rattles CBR 600F

Hello together, at the moment the fan does not work on my CBR. Ok, so far no problem – you can have it repaired. But: from time to time (especially when it is very hot) you can fry in idle mode. The whole goes away only at higher speeds. It also remains when I pull the clutch. Do you have any ideas? Greetings The Peter
