Hello, I have ordered the 2022 CB650R and should come in February. Would then directly the rear, the mirror and the sozius want to change, possibly the turn signals at the back still. How do you get the handlebar end weights out so that I can mount highsider mirror there? Which rear would you recommend? Could provide for splashes on the back when it gets wet at the drive? I also had a SideArm thought about…. License plate at the back of the tire? Blinker I would have liked running turn signals in LED, for this the Daytona relay must be installed, then the ESS still works? (Warning flasher at full braking automatically?) Sozius, original for 240€ or for 65 at amazon?

Purchase advice Honda NC 750 X
Hello dear MotorTalk community! I would like to buy a motorcycle at the beginning of next year. The NC 750 X has sometimes quite pleased me. Now I would know of you what reasons for or against the NC 750 X, which I have not noticed yet. Alternatives would of course also welcome 😉 My desired machine would definitely be the version with DCT because I have to drive a lot in the city (chargeable short parking zone, which is why a car does not inf In addition, it has to have ABS and should offer a rather high sitting position (size 1.92m). Price is my personal price limit so 800€. Either new or at least a young used machine it should already be. Engine power should be so between 50 and 100 HP. Up to now I drive a 125er scooter, so I am not spoiled for acceleration etc. As an alternative I had a V-current 650 in mind, despite Switch. However, the short service interval of only 6000km has quite deterred me. Once a year I think easy enough. I don’t need problems with the manufacturer if I should cross the 6000km limit a year. I would also like to ask a more special question: I would like to buy a new helmet soon and love the Scorpion EXO 910 Air. Does anyone know if this helmet would fit into the luggage compartment of the NC 750 X? Thank you very much for Your answers 🙂 I wish you a good Sunday. Lg Thomas

CBR 1100XX 2006 runs coldly bad and runs out in places
Hello Schrauberfreunde I’ve been looking for the mistake for some time now and I just can’t find it. My CBR Super Blackbird year 2006 runs in cold condition and even goes out sometimes. Warm fits everything. Fuel consumption is, in my opinion, too high I never get below 7 liters. At the last ASU it passed Ach and Krach. The examiner pulled the probe out almost otherwise it would not have passed. I have already changed the fuel pressure regulator. The map sensor is removed and checked. How can you clean it? Below is only the tube where the vacuum hose is on it. The small hoses are not porous and everything is put together. The FI light does not burn.So there is no error. What can this be? I just don’t find it. My knowledge and understanding ends here. The PGM FI does everything about the control unit. a nix. Are there any other sensors to check? Maybe someone knows what. Thank you in advance greeting Oliver

Transalp PD06 BJ 94 chain jumps
Hello, at my Transalp the chain jumps. I have made a video for it. https://youtu.be/1qO4g-KYmyg?si=IGxAdg4TJ–M808h I can exclude the chain tension. No matter if I loosen the chain or put on something the chain jumps on. I also cleaned and oiled the chain. I think it almost comes out of the engine. Something in the engine stops thereby the pinion is slowed down and the chain jumps thereby. I am not sure. The motorcycle runs normally. I have also shot a video without a chain, only from the pinion. https://youtube.com/shorts/wyyFz-qttUI?si=oTDhYw3_uyVSWNW5 I would say that the motorcycle switches and runs correctly. It becomes particularly clear when I brake off and speed up again in the first or second gear. Then it really clatters from below, which I also notice partly on the footrests. Probably also the other gears. but I don’t notice it that way. I am currently driving through West Africa. the motorcycle i You’re always loaded and exposed to a lot of dust and dirt.

Running power: What is possible?
On Monday I will look at a CBF600SA from 2007 with 92,000 kilometers. It is completely checkbook maintained with Honda and looks really flawless. Price is 3480 euros. Maybe there is still a bit of something negotiable. How much could the engine still be able to do with regular maintenance and maintenance? Would that also be possible for 200,000 km? Would a replacement engine then possibly be worthwhile and how much would such an exchange cost or would that be possible on its own? cost between 300-1000 euros and I think that I would be willing to pay if it was time for you to change the engine relatively easily with help. Know a car champion who would support me if it wasn’t so difficult. I am looking forward to answers and experience values!

Moin, have just mounted an exhaust on my motorcycle. Brand GPR Model Dual Inox. Is homologated and approved for my model, ABE I have lying here. E-number is on the pot also BUT! It is on the inside to the swing… You can SEE it, but not read it completely without installing the pot.. Can I still drive like this or do I get a lot of trouble for it if you stop me? Greetings

Need advice on machine and equipment
Hello, my name is Laura and I am 17 years old and I would like to start the A2 driver’s license against August. My question now… Which is a good bike for me? I had already thought about the Honda CBR 500 R, because I like the look of it and I can also convince you of the power. Is the bike with a size of only 1.61 m “small” enough so that I can ride properly with it? And now to the equipment… Is there a min. budget, what you should spend? Or It doesn’t matter, because you can find shops in the internet that sell a lot of things at a lower price? Had thought of a ladies leather combo by Held (about 350€ instead of 500€), a helmet by Nolan (reduced 130€ instead of 190€), leather gloves by Alpinestars (about 85€ instead of 100€), boots by Büse (160€ instead of 200€) and a back protector by Büse for 90€… Would that be a decent beginner’s gear or can you complain about it? Would I be happy to get some feedback. LG Laura

Change in performance
Tach Dear Hondaraner, I hope someone can help me with my question! I start with my driver’s license (18 years) in February. At the moment I can only drive a machine with a maximum of 35 KW/ 48 HP, and now my question: I’m playing with the idea of buying a Honda CBR 1000 F with 97 KW, can I throttle it to 35 KW? I don’t want comments like, I personal would never want to down such a “big” machine and etc. Thanks already in advance Gr uß MBFireTruck

CB 750 KZ turns only very reluctantly over 7000 rpm at full speed
Hello Biker, after 25 years of abstinence from motorcycling, I had a youth dream and bought me a Honda CB 750 KZ (RC 01) Bj 80. After initially very slow turning at the gas grip and driving at low speeds I now already trust myself at higher speeds. The bike drives up to 7000 rpm perfectly. No jerking or hole at the high turn. But from 7000 rpm it doesn’t want to be right anymore. Once over, with a little less gas it also works perfectly, it turns bi Honda cleaned and synchronized the carburetors in the ultrasonic bath. Spark plugs, air filters and oil were also changed by Honda. Gasoline supply was checked, filters cleaned / changed. I was told to drive for a few kilometers. After 2000 km no improvement has occurred. Can anyone give me a hint what this might be?
