  • CBR 600 RR – Beginner’s Tips

    First of all, I’m new here and I’m happy to be part of the community! Short history: I drove a 125cc bike 6 years ago, but I didn’t finish the test because a friend was fatally injured…after that I didn’t want to drive anymore. Now I’m a few years older and also more reasonable, since it was always a dream of me to own a CBR 600 RR I looked around and beat myself on the basis of an unbeatable offer…I have a C BR 600 RR 2008, just passed the theory test and is thus entitled to drive the vehicle. Now on the actual topic: The CBR 600 RR not to compare with a 125ccm machine. I have not been riding a motorcycle since the incident. As soon as it gets warmer I will do my first ride and therefore I wanted to ask what you advise me, what there is especially to consider with the machine etc. I would like to be a reasonable driver b It is not about whether I do it but what you advise me to do. I am able to ride a switched motorcycle, even if with little practice… I have already read it in various forums and often it has been said that the CBR 600 RR can be ridden by beginners, if the handlebar is reasonable enough, what do you say? What is it worth paying special attention to? I would like to do more as stressing that it is not about a purchase advice! Thank you in advance

  • Ebay Classifieds Honda VF 1000 R Rothmans

    Hello !!! Was on the weekend in Berlin-Steglitz and wanted to pick up a Honda VF 1000 R Rothmans which is sold at Ebay Classifieds. What I experienced there was a caos. I was assured that everything was ok except engine. But what I saw was a rusty tank with thick bump, disguise has broken strong cracks, seat and so far. It can’t be that you drive 1100 km (for 120 Euro fuel) and these gross defects are concealed. Can one tell me how to can be against such a thing. Love greets Fume

  • cbr 600f to 1000 rr fireblade

    Hello, I ask you for your opinion and experience. I am currently driving a cbr 600 f with 97 hp (for insurance reasons) have torn down 25,000 kilometers with the planer and think about changing to a 1000 rr for the next season (approx. 2009 year). 1. Question how important and useful is the ABS at the Fireblade? 2. should I even start with the monster right after the start of the season or is the risk to survive the whole thing not unscathed. n no risk driver in road traffic but I’ll let you out on the highway or country road. What I’m not “emotional” for luck even if I’ve had some stress or a fight I try to let you out as soon as I sit on the machine. Is the change useful? if yes with or without ABS? is there a particularly good or bad year of construction around the year 2009?     Hello I wanted to convert my motorcycle to Xenon HID in winter, because my light is very weak in the dark, above all. Does anyone already have any experience with it?     Hello! Just wanted to turn a RUnde with my cbf600SA, which is parked 100m from my apartment door on a side strip. on the steering bar hung a sign mounted by the police there with the text: “Your motorcycle was found and erected by the fire department lying on the side”. To the (visible) damages: The clutch lever is completely bent, the plastic covering on the ABS display is broken and looks not quite so chic anymore, many scratches, beef After a short oil check I tried to start the machine, with a little bit more fuel supply through the small train lever and intermediate gas when starting it, too. 100 meters to a “safer” parking position – that’s all I have not tried yet. Will you order a clutch lift now. How does it go on after that? What could have been broken when the crash occurred? Should I bring the motorcycle directly into a workshop The bike was on the side and not on the main stand (which I will of course no longer do in the future!).   • Honda Dax engine no longer starts

    Hello Dax friends ! I have actually lost nothing in your forum, but I hope that someone can help us anyway. I bought my son a quad in which the China replica of a Dax engine with 125cc (I know that one should not expect a great quality here). The engine ran first 2 days without problems. After that he went out more and more often as soon as the first gear was inserted. Now after 1 week the engine does not start at all. test: petrol runs from the tank to the carburetor. Air filter is clean. Ignition spark visible. Test-by-probe stand gas screw completely pure and again 2 revolutions out. Air quantity screw completely pure and 1.5 revolutions out. Carburetor opened and nozzles carefully blown through with compressed air. 1xStartpilot. Between the tests I allowed the engine to dry by means of warm air each time, because petrol was recognizable by the candle. has enough experience to conclude from the crime story on the killer.   • cbf 500 problems with the battery

    Hello.So I need your opinion and experience. The thing is this:My wife has a CBF 500 built in 2004 ABS and heating grips.If the motorcycle is standing for more than 1-2 weeks the battery is flat.I have already measured creep current(nothing),In idle it has 12.6 volts at 2500-3500u/min 13,8 -14,2V charging current.So I thought battery in A.With new battery after 2 moons the same game. Then battery bridged I started and got rid of the moped after 9 km at the traffic light ( What should I say the bitch starts. I have now read in a forum that it often comes to battery problems (light engine too small dimensioned) at the cbf500/600. Is there anything to it? Does a Honda dealer have insider knowledge? Please help me and write what you mean or heard about it.

    Hello guys, I have taken over the old Honda CBR 600f Bj.89/90 PC23 from a friend who has not driven it for many years. I had to find out now unfortunately that it starts to stutter at 80km/h and becomes slower, until it finally remains lying, if I do not go off the gas. In the city traffic, i.e. up to 80km/h, it drives without problems. The problem exists permanently and occurs even with almost empty tank earlier, say already from 75km/h. When the Choke is pulled, I can also drive 100km/h without any problems. The fuel supply is definitely OK, the carburettors I have cleaned myself thoroughly and the candles are new. However, the candles are white, i.e. too thin mixture. If I put the mixture fatter, I feel no difference. To the stuttering: So I speed up to about 80km/h and if I turn further at the gas handle, it stops accelerating, stutters and gets slower. I can now continue turning at the gas handle, but without reaction, I’m just about to hit the gas. Here she accelerates a little bit, but also starts stuttering again. I have no idea what else it might be. Please for your help, thank you.
