  • Difference Cbr 600 r and Cbr 600 F Year of manufacture 2002

Hi I want to get a new machine again. I have a Cbr 600 R and a Cbr 600 F to choose from. The two motorcycles seem to have the same data now I wanted to know what the differences are. I saw that the machines have different benches which would not disturb me but what about the suspension? R version possibly more sporty or more adjustment options? Thanks already for your help Lg dom

  • Honda!

So, my Honda (Pan European, >133Tkm, ’94) was again under the tarpaulin in the open air … this winter with lots of snow on it. I didn’t have the battery removed again. Just once with the key out and look what goes on. Plan down, turn off light precautionaryly, joke in, key in and turned around. tacker-tacker-tacker-tacker… again! tacker-tacker-tacker-tacker-tacker… The battery goes well. I try it 4x for about 10-15 seconds and make a short Pau Next: tacker-tacker-tacker-wum-tacker-wum-tacker-wum-wum Aha, which will be coming soon. After another 4-5 attempts she jumped on …as usual every spring. The uneven running noise disappeared after approx. 2 minutes and she also took on gas. After a few more minutes I made it out again … it was clear: the Honad is ready to go. PS: A few years ago I had asked a friend (Duc-916 owner) to drive me to the (then) garage because I want to “move” the Honda. I told him that the battery was in over the winter, the machine has been standing since September. It was February and had minus degrees. He laughed and said: “And you mean it starts now ….hahahaha.” He had to bring his Duc to the dealer in the spring (on the trailer) so that it would run again. In short: the Honda did not jump on the first attempt … the acquaintance grinned. On the second attempt she jumped on the starter shortly after the pressure and also stayed on. He was stunned. H onda eben! ) I don’t have anything else coming into my house… Greetings -Martin-

  • VFR 800 RC 46

Hello in the net, I have changed my Vf 750 F (RC 15) for a RC 46. The tube runs nice, however I have a few questions: How high can the “normal” cooling water temperature be usually. I get displayed more often 110° C??? Fans run nice, but the value is a bit etched to me. Should what be on the cooler??? When the fan blows, I have the impression: This could be stronger. ?????? Sometimes the third and fourth gear doesn’t go in properly, I have to go after tret Is there something about the shift roller? Or am I a bit too clumsy? But has a nice family tree in the service booklet and 60,000 km down. I would be grateful for critical messages. Tom

  • Honda Pc37 03-04 Engine damage

Hello first, I explain my problem to you. I bought a Pc37 from private and had everything done chain, tires, oil etc. the seller said inspection was made after I had everything done in a workshop (except spark plugs), I wanted to make a tour and after 20km I pulled a smoke cloud after me. The workshop says that from the spark plug the electric is broken and came against pistons that follow, hole in the piston! ?? Now I have found an engine, but from 05-06 series, can I install it without any concerns, if I take over the injection insert etc. ? Bzw can I take over the injection insert ? Or does someone who knows someone who would repair the engine cheaply ? ?? I thank you already for the answers.

  • braking possible?

Moin together. I had the strange event with my 600s that blocked the front wheel, on straight track, although I did not pull the brake. I did not switch at the moment, did not drive too fast, nothing. (It was raining anyway, I drive like on raw eggs.) 2 days in a row she threw me off, the end result was an ambulance, a week hospital. We suspected a bad one, but do not know if it is possible to brake auc h so manipulate that they tend to block. -?- Would that be feasible for someone who happens to be a 2 wheel mechanic? Since the last bad accident, my baby is standing in the garage. I just can’t find anything except that I mean that drags the brake forward. Does any of you have any idea how to block it suddenly out of the nothing? I don’t drive a BMW 😉 and ABS I don’t have on my sweetheart either. -??????

  • Engine bearing damage

Hello together, I’m new here, I bought my CBR 1100xx three weeks ago and have really fun with the motorcycle. but I found that in idle the engine clatters, I drove to the specialized factory the first diagnosis motor bearing damage. did any of you have something like this? how expensive was the repair? the CBR has only 36000 km away and is from 1999. you can imagine that my joy has greatly decreased, have bought the motorcycle privately from therefore nothing can do. in the cold condition there is no clapping can give me someone tips

  • Beginner A – Honda CBR 650 F vs Yamaha FZ8

Hello together, in advance I hope that my topic is right here. I will take my driving licence test class A (practically) next week and wanted to look for a motorcycle right after that. I don’t need a PS monster, and I want a machine that I have under control at the beginning and I don’t have to worry about. Since I drive in the driving school with the Honda CB650F and I like the disguised brother CBR650F this is already in the narrow selection. avon would be that I just got 4 years warranty as far as I know and maybe the 10% driver’s license subsidy (hopefully?). The driving school machine was a bit too rough with 100 things without wind shield. As an alternative I would also like the Yamaha FZ8 very much. It has a little more horsepower but should still be very beginner friendly. My driving profile is probably 20% city, 70% country road and 10% highway. Now my questions to you: Which would you choose and why? The Honda will be in Tha iland made which sometimes does not lead to such perfect workmanship (as far as I have read it). Does anyone know where the Yamaha is made? Since I am relatively large (188), which is better for big drivers? The Honda is ok, but could offer a little more “place”. How do you generally appreciate the quality of the Yamaha compared to the Honda? And for insurance, both machines had entered at Huk24 and they would have cost exactly that. How can that be? that at 98 hp should be a magical limit from which it will be more expensive? Sorry for the many questions and thank you in advance greeting, -Ac1d

  • Honda NC 700 X Purchase advice

Hi, have a few questions since I’m doing my A2. 1. Would you rather recommend the NC700X or the NC750X ? 2. Are the two equal in size ? 3. Do throttled engines have any disadvantages compared to motorcycles that are standard designed to 48hp ? 4. How can it be that I have to have 7000 numbers for the NC700X near me and elsewhere there are some already for under 5500 ? Where is there the hook ? Thanks already

  • Anti-theft protection

Hello Motorradgemeinde, will pick up my new motorcycle on December 29th (a CBF 600 SA in white). It is my first motorcycle, and therefore I have no real idea of the offers there are on this sector. My question is, how do you protect your sweetheart against theft. At home it will be in a garage, but I think that one or the other weekend will be a small tour. For many tips I would like to thank you. Thomas

  • Front brake fixed

Hello Together I am already completely unnerved – have a VF 750 Custom Bj 83 with a brake damage very special kind. When the brake is cold it works perfectly. In hot condition however, the brake goes up to the pads smoke. I changed the main brake tylinder with brake lever and both brake calipers . No improvement! Now there are still the brake lines and the distributor at the fork. Who did advice ? many thanks in advance
