Hello, yesterday after a long online search I finally got a SC50. The motorcycle was visually very well there with its 35k mileage in contrast to other online ads. During the test drive before the purchase the following problem occurred. I had to pick the motorcycle out of the housing settlement first to come to the country where I could heat a bit. In the city traffic it is noticeable that the Honda in the low speed range (1000-300/min) moderately strongly ‘jumps’. I think that she doesn’t go smoothly forward but rather jerks like a car that is about to choke off. From 4000/min the motorcycle catches itself and pretends that never had been anything. I didn’t think much about it at first because I still wanted to test how the motorcycle behaves when there are more turns on it. Arriving on the country road I then gave more stuff and was thrilled. The motorcycle did exactly what it was supposed to do. No swallowing, no stot tern. Ordinary clean acceleration as if never had been anything. Again on the way back to the seller I had the same problem. With every start, slowly rolling around without a pulled clutch it stutters and jerks. Whether it was the first or second gear. The machine makes life difficult in the lower speed range. Back to the seller I then set him to talk. He had assured me that this stuttering and jerking of which I am speaking is completely normal with the machine. Grades on 4-cylinders and motorcycles with such a high performance and power. They are probably not designed to drive around with such low speeds and revolutions. He meant that it can be that it is a bit more doller than it should, but that is probably due to the age and the mileage of the bike. Since I have no idea of motorcycles and I am technically not well placed I accepted it so. I still tried to persuade him to feel guilty about it. I took the bike with me and drove home 80km. The best ride of my life! I love this bike. Only the problem with the lower speed range makes me manage. Can an expert help me there? Something like that already experienced or seen? Thank you!

Seal the final pot connection
Hello guys I bought a motorcycle again after almost 30 years break. CB600 Hornet. 2008. Has a end pot from Leovince and the whole exhaust system is not original either. I have the original but (hopefully complete). I am here in Spain. Salesman meant to check the original end pot for a little bit. I tried this today ma because I don’t necessarily like the louder Leovince pot anyway. As almost feared, the original pot does not fit Although there was such a ‘dichtring’ there, the connection of the original pot is much too big, even if I pull the clamp very tightly I can twist the exhaust without any effort on the pipe and of course he ‘puffs’ out there as well. So back and again the Leovince put on it. While dismantling pieces of a tape have fallen out, some aluminum tape … now of course the Leovince is no longer dense. So probably my question, I have been looking for almost hours what the woh l for a tape could be what you use for sealing, but I find only tapes for repairing defective exhausts or for wrapping pipes. What do I need to look for?

Honda Dax goes out when it’s warm
Hello, my old Honda Dax St70 starts cold wonderful. But when it drives so 5-10 min, it pulls less and accelerates only when the gas is low. It has a new tank, new iridium spark plug, new air filter and cleaned carburetor. What can I do or is it plunging the ignition coil?

CBR650RRatter when inserting the 1st gear
Hello all, I have bought a CBR650R which has now run about 500km. I noticed that it is making a rattling noise recently, when I try to put the first gear in cold engine (too soft?). So I have to kick it in jerky so that this grinding noise does not appear. This happens to me on the one hand only on cold engine and on the other hand I think that this was not like this from the beginning. (longed coupling rope would be a conjecture, but I am not Since I don’t know exactly about motorcycles, I ask for indulgence. I’m technically skilled (as far as engines are concerned) but I’m not completely enlightened when it comes to the motorcycle gearbox. Please don’t give any tips on how to drive to the dealer, it’s a guarantee. I’m aware of that, but I would like to understand the behavior and therefore ask here in the forum I hope someone can give me a tip and/or an explanation. Thank you very much. In advance!

Honda Transalp PD09 1995 beating sound of chain or left side
Servus, and I bought a Honda Transalp PD09 last week as the first motorcycle with 42000 km. However, what I noticed already during the test drive, and was stamped as normal by the owner before, was the beating noise when accelerating out of the chain drive. You also feel at this moment like the motorcycle jerks synchronously to the noise. Especially when rolling you hear it especially strong whether clutch pulled or not. Since I wanted to have little idea of motorcycles i I have already checked the chain tension and would consider it to be good. I am grateful for any help.

Honda Hornet 600 Electrics
Hello, I have a problem with my Honda Hornet 600 from 98′. As soon as I turn on light during the ride, turn on the flasher or drop the speed too low the whole power grid collapses. Means it hardly takes on gas, Tacho plays crazy and it goes out. The alternator brings it so far in the stand fair the appropriate voltages. When I switch on the light in the stand immediately 1V goes away at voltage and does not come back. As far as the situation is concerned. someone an idea what it might be about?? My suspicion is that there is a short circuit or mass circuit that consumes so much power. A broken switch or plug would otherwise also be the guess. Is such a problem known and knows someone on which components it might be? Many greetings, Elias

Honda Rebel 125 – Flasher relay
Servus. Have all 4 turn signals at the Honda rebel 125 converted to LED (back 3 in 1) now all 4 turn signals always shine no matter what I press. Now a question makes sense to clean up pre-resistance or reaches a LED relay? And still a question is the round with the 2 pins the relay? Pin L and X. I would be happy about an answer

Honda Dax re-ignitions/ignitions?
Hello together, I have had problems with my Dax since the last longer exit. After a longer full-speed drive she started to give off after ignitions. So not the typical patching but really even after ignitions during the descent. Then I drove a little leisurely further and then took a short break, then it disappeared again. Two days later on the next trip it came back when it was really warm. Meanwhile it is in the Even if it is cold. (see video)https://youtube.com/shorts/dmDDItkd-38?feature=share Short to the vehicle. Honda Dax ST50G Built 1977 6V 85cc cylinder, cylinder head with 20/23 valves, 20 intake nozzles, 20 Walbro carburetor, reinforced oil pump, NHRC exhaust, K&N air filter, SS50 Polrad Bin with the setup so already 7000km without problems on the road. Until now that started with the re-ignition. Just don’t know any more. Performance is still there. Jumps on and so on. But that’s enough. The valves are also heard irregularly “tack up” already so many attempts. -from c7HSA to C8HSA candle cylinder head removed, valves regrinded and crushing edge broken, everything cleaned and resealed (after that it was gone for 1min) -new exhaust seal -102Oktan fuel valve play increased to 0.08mm The following parts are basically new to the Dax: -new candle plug -new ignition coil -new cable tree -new battery -new gleichrich ter -new interrupter -new capacitor -new alternator I hope you can help me. Thank you.

NC 700 s VS. CBR 500 r
Aloha Honda experts, I’m new here and would like to buy a motorcycle for my newly purchased A2 driver’s license for the 18th time. It would be my first motorcycle. I get the motorcycle mainly for fun, I want to cruise around a lot and often go to a lake or something. Of course I want to go to school or to other “obligatory” matters. I live in the city and now ask myself which motorcycle of the two is better. Honda CBR 5 00 r pros: – Design – Sporty – Fun Factor Honda NC 700 s pros: – Luggage compartment – Price? – Comfort? I’d like to hear your opinions on these two motorcycles. I don’t know yet so well and I just can’t decide. Of course, I’m going to test both of them anyway, but it would be nice to hear a few opinions from you! Happy Christmas Day!
