  • CB 750 KZ turns only very reluctantly over 7000 rpm at full speed

Hello Biker, after 25 years of abstinence from motorcycling, I had a youth dream and bought me a Honda CB 750 KZ (RC 01) Bj 80. After initially very slow turning at the gas grip and driving at low speeds I now already trust myself at higher speeds. The bike drives up to 7000 rpm perfectly. No jerking or hole at the high turn. But from 7000 rpm it doesn’t want to be right anymore. Once over, with a little less gas it also works perfectly, it turns bi Honda cleaned and synchronized the carburetors in the ultrasonic bath. Spark plugs, air filters and oil were also changed by Honda. Gasoline supply was checked, filters cleaned / changed. I was told to drive for a few kilometers. After 2000 km no improvement has occurred. Can anyone give me a hint what this might be?

  • Interesting clutch phenomenon – Need Help !!!

Hello guys, I have already got some tips here, maybe someone also knows advice: My clutch (unfortunate topic… I know) But … My thickness (CBR SC21) is cold and I make a short round trip it does not necessarily pull like it (I think) but it should run and accept the gas willingly – no clutch slips feelable even if it has operating temperature (10 km of house distance around the lake … very winding distance) it actually shows hardly any problems … Do I place it but for a few minutes off and then wants to go further, she doesn’t want to slip through the clutch from 3000 rpm anymore and she just turns up – she takes on a long ride, but just pull up into the 5000 range or higher, takes note of it with a real free run and comes very slow at speed (whether 1. 2. 3. or another gear) I stop and go with pulled clutch and brake to 3000+ and let the clutch come, wants to pull and goes speedwise s o far into the knees, that it finally strangles itself … Spider I or my thickness With which broken or flaw I have to do it here PS: for all newcomers – new Lmellen, new feathers and new liquid are in it Oil = 20W50 mneral Need urgent Your advice Greeting slash

  • Loud whistling while driving

hello, I have a problem with my cb500 (BJ. 1997, KM: 24000) when I drive one hears a very loud whistle from the direction of the front pinion. it depends on the speed, because if I uncouple and let it roll out, it gets slower and slower to the standstill. in the stand one hears nothing, however, if you put it on the main stand and then insert the gear and the wheel drives again already. it definitely does not come from motor because as said in stand independent of the speed is it’s gone. the noise has been there for a few months now, at the beginning only rarely and relatively quiet, but with the time it came more and more often and also louder. Sometimes only with gas acceptance, differently constantly. even now it’s still the case that she sometimes does not have it again for a while, but if then louder than the motorcycle itself. what could that be, thought so much about the bearing of the pinion shaft hope you can help me, took up the noise and added greetings chris

  • Cbr 1100 xx – Motor turns the first 3 min. Too high ( 3500)

Moin, I’ve been driving a Blackbird Bj 99 , 150 PSD for 5 years. For a few months the engine spins after the start with about 3500 rpm. And it takes almost 3 minutes until it goes down to 1500 and another 10 min. to get to 1100. Earlier after the start so to 1800 rpm. And so after 40 sec. On 1100. I asked already at the workshop and as an answer only one: “This can be due to everything possible and I can drive with it without danger. But it sucks totally and costs quite nice fuel. such a problem had before or maybe knows what it is? For ideas I would be very grateful. Greeting Thomas

  • Help my Honda suddenly doesn’t run the way she’s supposed to

Hello first time in the round. Have the following problem, last year in September fully motivated me to buy a Honda Shadow VT600 c BJ 1998. The nice thing was an accident vehicle but ran engine without problems. I changed over the winter handlebars 1 to 1. New tires pulled up the fender new wired and the tank repainted in a directly rinsed the tank and fresh fuel filled in. Now I built everything together again and suddenly it no longer jumps on. Ha The carburettor was removed from the carburettor and cleaned up. Then it only ran with a brake ringer as a starting aid but then it turned on but then much too high. So I set the carburettor to standard mixed (completely in and out of three revolutions). However, it did not change anything and reacts to the stand gas screw at all. I then overcome myself and made a test drive as soon as I start it stutters again to normal speed but if I stutter about 3/ 4 Gasgebe and in the 2nd gear the then completely drains off. I am by now really guessless what it could be had before nothing motor technically changed only the tank was down. PS. Petrol arrives, spark plugs look so good and gas train is also free-running, as soon as I put the choke back it goes down very briefly from the speed and then shoots again high I am grateful over every tip.

  • Motorcycle doesn’t start

Moin This winter my motorcycle (Honda VFR 750 f 1988) didn’t sleep well when I tried to start it turned the starter engine at all, so I checked the battery, loaded it, but the engine still didn’t start. When I turn on the ignition, only the oil lights and the neutral light don’t shine, although I’m in neutral. So I thought that the start didn’t work, because the electronics don’t realize that I’m in neutral. I also found out that if I’m in a gear and keep the clutch in place, I’m still not in idle, but the gear is gripping, but that’s another topic. First I need your help to get my bike started again. LG PS: YES the engine on/off switch has been flipped.

  • Honda cbf 500, follow-up cost calculation?

Hello together 🙂 I was the first motorcycle to have a CBF 500 with 20,000 km, ABS, undressed for 2600 in view. The seller pointed out to me that within the next 1000km the tyres as well as the chain would have to be changed. What comes to me financially? what costs a new set of tires, the chain + installation altogether? How much can I trade down the seller due to this “minder”? (the 2600 euro are set in the sales portal without the defects as VHB.) Looking forward to your opinions! 🙂 lG

  • Honda CBF 600 PC36 ABS?

Hello everyone, I have the last motorcycle driver’s license hours in front of me and am of course already looking around for a motorcycle. Now I have (unfortunately) got into a very specific model – namely the Honda CBF600 (PC36). I’m doing my driver’s license on a CBF600 N (PC38) and the driving feeling has already pleased me. Why do I want the 36s? Especially because of the design – I am an absolute design lover (and start my transportation / Indu in the near future strial design study) and somehow I was particularly attracted to this machine. Just radiate power for me and is reduced to the essential and with my absolute must-have on a motorcycle – the prominent, round, classic light. What interests me now – have not found any exact details, but is there the model also with ABS? Thank you for your answers, mfg
