Hello! I would have a question for the experienced drivers (yes all) among you: I own a deregistered Honda CB 500, BJ 1998. This is now 5 (!) years off registered in my garage. ( Reason: 2 children get ) Previously I drove them for about 5 years, few tours, 2w times vacation trips, lots of city traffic / work routes. Now I started to work again and the bus times are annoying. In short: I am thinking about whether it pays off, this Honda only for the work eg (about 6 km a track) to activate again (new tires, spark plugs, battery, what else?) or if I should sell them (I still get something for it) or should not be scrapped and myself, since I will probably only use the vehicle for the journey to work) better to get a scooter? What would be the best for me financially and what should I do with the old motorcycle if I switch to a scooter with crunching teeth? and then sell, preferably scrapping the same). Ask for assessment, tips, suggestions, many

CBF 600 goes out while giving gas
Hello fans My CBF 600 year 2007 can be started after longer service life with Choke and runs quite and poorly warm. Do I catch the gas attack only once when running warm… is it off. After warm run phase when the Choke becomes inactive it also goes off. Do there exist two different fuel circles of which one could be clogged? The problems were already evident at the beginning of the last season, but have given itself again at the start, what this with me in the Now the problem is there again, and so I couldn’t even get the machine into the workshop. Another problem that has been pending since purchase, but the HH only waved off, is that the front brake squeaky. It makes me crazy if I can’t even walk into the irons at the traffic lights in the city without all the audience on the street turning around after me. The dealer bagatellis and says… is just like that. Can you do something or will I just do something about it? If someone had a tip, I’d be a little happier again.

Honda CBF 600 dressed or naked?
Hello, have a question to the motorcycle experts. I’m doing my A driving licence right now. The theory is finished, the practice I do in spring. As a motorcycle I will buy a Honda CBF 600, that’s actually safe. The sitting position is great for bigger people like me (1,92m) and 78hp are probably just right for the beginning. Besides, the bike ABS has and is new also not sooo expensive. Now the question: I can’t decide at the moment whether I’m naked or the Verkl What’s more fun? I won’t make long trips with the motorcycle, it’s more like a fun device. But I want to be able to drive the highway as well. What should I take? LG and happy holidays

Shadow throttle
Hello, this topic has certainly been read by everyone once, but unfortunately I couldn’t find it here yet really…at least no solution. I got into the family of the moped riders quite new and since I am still under 25 (only in November) I will probably have to drive my baby first throttled, with which we are already on the topic: I would like to do this myself, however, have no idea how this can be done, but I want to save myself the money, it To do it in a workshop. For me, riding a motorcycle also means to be able to screw on your machine; if you don’t learn it, you just have to teach yourself and how to do it best? Just start my request to an experienced screwdriver: help me I want to install a throttle, but don’t know what I have to do for it and the www has not been really helpful to me to date. Cool would have been for example a guide with pictures or a Tex I would like to thank your Manuel in advance.

Buying a Africa Twin
Moin motorcycle friends! Since I want to buy an Africa Twin next year, I am interested in burning up to which mileage you can buy such a part carelessly. Since I’m still a student and will become 18 next year, of course you don’t have that much money. If I drag in the classifieds for the Africa Twin, and there is ” 49 000 km, good condition, 2050€ VB.” I find personally that 49 000 km is a pile of wood for a mopped. Now I also have s chon hears that it is far from a problem for an Africa Twin if it has so many kilometers . . . What one should believe or not . . . well, as I said, therefore I ask here for Mfg Stefan

cbr 600 f PC 35 (year 2002) does not start
Hello all, I wanted to move my old lady on weekends times due to the heavy winter depression my fireblade is not registered over the winter. Anyway, I installed the battery (desulfanized and fully charged) but it did not jump on. The oil lamp flashed. My question: did not jump on it because of the “missing oil” or just because of the about 8 weeks standing break? So far everything went off without murmuring at the mopped. against doing except a change of oil. Many greetings from Munich

BSAU – Exhaust not allowed?
Hey, guys, I tried the Sufu once and only found older Freds. Maybe the legal situation has changed by now. My wife and I have ever had a machine. Are England imports. My questions are aimed at having an exhaust (Beowulf with DB killer in it) without an e-number. There’s only one BSAU number on it. It’s for British standard to my knowledge… When I asked the seller if there are problems in DE, he said that TÜV got it. Since he had to go back to the TÜV anyway because of the throttle for my wife, I told him to ask him again explicitly if the problem exists or not. When he came back, he said, ne der TÜV thinks it would be so ok. He then wrote in to me in the purchase contract an addition that if there are problems with the police or TÜV, an exchange for the serial exhaust is included in the purchase price. 1. Is there an official source that allows the operation of BSAU exhausts in DE? 2. What penalty may be imposed? you expect if there are problems with a control by the police? These 2 questions concern me. I would be very pleased with all the answers. Greetings, the Knalla

Honda Dominator NX 650. Starting at 4200 rpm
Hello, maybe someone can help me? I recently bought a Honda Dominator NX 650 Bj. 91. I haven’t driven 500 km on it yet and now it has from today to tomorrow ignition oscillators from 4200 RPM. I.e. up to 4200 RPM it runs quite normally. From 4200 RPM the tachometer suddenly goes back to approx. 2000 RPM, without changing the actual speed however. If you don’t take the gas back then the ignition oscillators start. If you increase the gas, the ignition oscillators will degenerate. These triggers are always over 4200 rpm, not every few seconds or sometimes. Under this striking speed it runs as I said quite normal and the rev indicator is also right again. Maybe someone knows the problem from you and can help me. Thank you in advance. mfg
