  • i20 HAC (mountain approach aid)

Hello everyone, We have as second car an i20 which should have among other things the mountain start aid. Should, because we so far not have noticed about it. After a little browse on the net I found the info that this would only work from a slope of 10%. The info would be from Hyundai customer service. In my eyes meaningless. No matter whether you need the feature or not, the function is actually never active and does not need to be advertised. Now the real question. Can you do this in d In my opinion, only one SW thing. Every other manufacturer has programmed significantly lower values and if you already paid for it I would want to use it. Where do you already have gradients larger than or equal to 10%. Thanks in advance. Ralph

  • Hyundai i20 N – Laustärke

Hello everybody, is there also a setting at the Hyundai i20 N where it is quieter all over? My wife thinks the car is good, but she wouldn’t always want to drive in the most sporty setting. Maybe you can sign your impressions. Thank you.

  • Hyundai I 20 – Price reasonable?

Good day together, I plan to buy my first car in time. I have a Hyundai I20 1.2 YES! (85 PS/62kW) on the dealer’s website. First registration in October 2019, currently has 61,000 km down. Car is a checkbook maintained, was in service every year and has TÜV until February 2027. Equipment (highlights): front seat heating, cruise control, touch screen, air conditioning, parking aid rear, steering wheel heatable Price: 11.400€ Is the price appropriate? Unfortunately I have 0 idea and experience. That’s why I am looking forward to your expertise. So far I don’t drive much, maybe visit friends and family, shopping or to the park & ride if it rains. Probably so 7,000 km a year. But I intend to start with the new car more often times, so that I will drive an estimated 10,000 -12,000 km a year. I would like to spend a little more money on comfort, which is why I would hate to give up on the above equipment, even if it is rather unnecessary for my small amount of driving.

  • Hyundai I 10 Trend lpg

Hello together. I bought a new Hyundai i10 Trend lpg in April 2014. I have always had problems with the gas system since May 2014. It either doesn’t turn on at all or only after about 15 km. The dealer cannot find the error. Now a specialist from Hyundai Motor Germany should look at the car. Does any of you have any problems with it? The system is installed from factory. Thanks in advance.

  • Misignition on cylinder 1 and 4 at Atos

Dear community, I am at the end with my Latin. Users of small Hyundai Atos (our second car) cause us a lot of trouble. Our problem is that he shows the MKL permanently when reading via OBD only the message p0301 and p0304 ignition oscillators are detected. We have then exchanged the following parts: – ignition coil, wire and candles – camshaft sensor – catalyst at the cracker and lower vehicle the complete exhaust system – oil and oil filter – idle control – both Lambdasonden However everything without E rfolg, the MKL always goes out for a short time and in the stationary gas again. There were also pipes checked for leaks -> no leaks available. I would also have suspected the air mass sensor but if I showed this removal it is only implausible to O2 sensor. So I assume that this is in order. In the cylinder 1 the candle is also a little damp if you let it run stand gas. Therefore I have now exchanged the injection nozzles with each other 1 with 2 and 3 with 4 but Error remains on the cylinder 1 and 4. Now I am a bit planless and hope you still have an idea. P.s. Cylinder pressure is 9 bar for all 4 cylinders.Data about the vehicle: – Year of construction 2002 – mileage 81 TKM – air conditioning – engine identification G4HC – 43 KW – 999 ccm Thanks for your help.

  • Coupling smells

Hello, ix20 mileage 36000 km. After parking in a narrow parking space over the curb, it smells like burnt clutch lining in the interior. I have already driven many cars of different brands, e.g. up to approx. 180000 km and more with a lot of city traffic. Such odor nuisance never experienced, even nocn never have to replace a clutch. Can the workshop check the clutch during the upcoming inspection and make a statement corresponding to the reality about durability The clutch does what it is supposed to do perfectly, separates it and connects it, the gears can be easily switched, only sometimes it smells. My concern is that after the warranty has expired, the clutch has to be replaced at 100000 km or even more. What financial expense would be expected in the case of the case? Has someone sniffed something similar? Is it just an odor nuisance or is it more behind it? Greeting L.

  • Stand light change

In my new i20 I wanted to change the light bulbs for the dipped-beam and the stand light for the White Vision of Philips. Unfortunately I can’t get out the frames of the stand lights. Is there any trick? In the manual it says that you can just pull them out. However, that doesn’t work. However, you can’t use a great force either because of lack of space.

  • Hyundai Matrix: Make timing belts with Hyundai or e.g. with Euromaster?

Hello to each other, after my beloved golf was destroyed by an accident, I buy from a friend her Hyundai Matrix, BJ 2005, 1.6L petrol, 95,000 km, 2 previous owners. The car had a few minor repairs in his life and the TÜV ran through recently without complaint, but the change of the timing belt (due to 90,000bKm or after 6 years) was not carried out yet. I can not believe that it should have lasted already 14 years, abe r well. So I will have a timing belt change and am now considering whether I should have it changed at Hyundai (725,- Euro) or at Euromaster (600,- Euro). The price difference is not very high and therefore I do not know if I really get “more” at Hyundai for 125,- Euro. So far the car has been at Euromaster for all repairs – why always – and therefore also my question. What would you do? Thank you in advance.

  • Hyundai i10 from 2013 – Purchase advice and first questions

Moin, I have unfortunately not discovered a suitable thread in the Sufu, therefore on this way the request to all owners of the “new” i10 from Bj 2013 to stand by me something… First of all a little history: We are currently driving a Ford C-Max from 2011 and a Golf VI. We want to sell the Golf VI and replace it with a new i10. The main reason is that the i10 is to be used in one/two months for the tgl work path (motorway with speed limit 80-100km/h, about 65 km to/back) The i10 costs us 400€ less insurance and tax in the year, should be cheaper in maintenance than the golf (contract workshop) and also less on this, from a consumption-technical point of view optimal distance consume. We have today made a short test drive with an i10 with the 1.0 three-cylinder and were all very pleased, no comparison with the predecessor, chic, beautifully processed small car, great seats, super equipment… The i10 would cost us with everything from the option list except the cruise control and the sliding roof bar 999€, ready to go, so the price is right too. What do you think? Are there people who have already met the current i10 a little in everyday life, there are recommendations, experiences with consumption, maintenance costs. It would also be nice if someone could give me values as often as the Hyundai has to for maintenance and how the prices lie approximately (forgotten to ask the dealer). If you can read this and you can write something about it, THANK YOU!
