Hello, maybe someone can help me further. We had a marten damage on the antenna of our Astra, the FOH repaired the damage, he had to change the antenna rod + antenna foot + cable up to the radio (dissolve sky incl.).In the end came out an invoice of 917 €. So now 150 € SB paid, 3 weeks later expert of insurance in front of the door.He looked at the expanded part and said there is only the antenna rod paid. In addition now two questions : Does anyone know if the Oilstar Assistance connection guarantee takes over an antenna damage? – What do you advise me to check if the FOh has not expanded too much? Because I’m pretty much at the end with the Astra: 70000 Km _ AGR valve , starter , alternator , complete brake system, headlights started, I already had all this changed. And with our Insignia it goes fast so , or even worse. Madness !

Accident without damage still 500 euros?
Hello, Last night, when I parked a parking car, I was very light, the driver was also at the scene of the accident. No damage could be seen. The rear bumper was at the place where the touch took place a bit black, but this let itself be wiped away without any problems. After the driver was a kink on the bumper, which is not to be seen. The police were not called but pictures were taken. The car of him is a leasing car and he himself is on He said we should leave the insurance out because it would be better for me. He wants to have 500€ and offers me to sign a waiver. He wants to fix the damage (which is not present in my view) himself. My question now is if I should turn on the insurance after all pay the damage itself, because I don’t think the damage is 500€ high.

Incident -> no visible damage (cavity)
Good day, yesterday evening someone drove me in my beloved 316i. Accident occurred at a speed of 30-60km/h the accident causer drove a t4 and drove me up the rear. Visible so far is only that the back apron probably has a way because the downwards is pushed obliquely (column measures on the wheel boxes thumbs thick). I have an AHK and when I lay under the car, I noticed that the carrier recording is bent and at the tank only thumbs wide fre i is what was definitely not before, the exhaust endpot is stronger than before and I have the feeling it pulls to the left and wheel distance does not fit according to my eyes any more in the wheel boxes. Now comes my real question: The opposing insurance has to pay an expert from 750 euros damage. But who is the damage only 700 or 500 euros? Was my first accident. Therefore I don’t know. Help would be nice. Will have the car check tomorrow but have the can I sign a cost assignment?

Evaluator determines the damage // Excess if both tyres have to be replaced?
Hello together! Someone drove me in a few days ago. I brought the car to the Mercedes workshop the next morning and an expert took the damage. Because one of the two front tires is damaged, the expert said that also the not damaged front tire has to be changed, because otherwise the difference of the profile between the new and the used tire would be too big. But he also told me that I had about 20% of the costs ( for the two new tyres) because the current tyres are already needed and they are replaced with new tyres. ?!?!? Can someone explain or confirm that it is really like this and if so, why? I’m not interested in whether the current tyres are needed or not. The tyres are still good (vehicle only has 8000 km on them) and I think that I could even use the summer tyres for the next summer. What can I do now? for the fact that someone drives me in and you have to change two tires? Thank you for your support! LG Massimotor

Change of insurance from 48hp to 100+hp
Hey guys, my situation is this: I can finally extend my driver’s license from A2 to A next year (in July). Now, of course, I’d like to cut off my CBR600RR and ask myself a few questions about the insurance. The insurance is currently relatively cheap at reduced 48hp, which is why I have allowed the machine all year round. I will probably switch to a Saision license plate if I remove the throttle (just cheaper and I fa I don’t think I’m going to stay with my current insurance, because they would have more or less free hand when changing the contract and I probably could then make a real deal. So I’m changing the insurance now at the beginning of the year? To an insurance that offers a good course for the undisturbed 120hp? Would that guarantee me that I would then be able to do so? can also switch to the course (in July)? Because then would be insured there and then the likes say: no, this offer only exists for new contracts…..blabla. Can I insure already at the beginning of the year (or then March, because of season registration marks) for 120hp, but only 48hp drive? Would theoretically be a false indication in the contract?! Or should I simply unsubscribe before I extend my driver’s license, then the insurance is automatically terminated and I could change it a few Day after day, I have to register again with new insurance. I have to go to the road traffic office anyway, because of the change to the season registration mark. Can you just do that? Or are there any guidelines that forbid you to register again immediately after registration? Because that’s how everyone could easily get out of their insurance contract, simply unsubscribe, re-register, done. I’m really a bit perplexed…. Does anyone have any experience with it? Many thanks to everyone who has the trouble to read up here and hopefully give me good tips. Ride safe PS: If you find spelling or grammar errors, you may keep them 😛

How best to insure wife’s car?
Hello, my girlfriend and I have married, and our previous SF-classes are, because my wife is 10 years younger than me, very different: I have my vehicle currently fully covered with SF20, but she is still with SF1. If I now make an insurance comparison with one of the portals, the status “married” hardly affects at all. However, I can register it with my vehicle as a driver, which obviously works (probably) h since she is a wife) not really negative on the contributions. Now the question: can I simply assure her car as a main driver on me? How is that, if she is actually driving with it, am I regressive in the event of damage? Or differently asked: how would you handle the situation: married, different SF classes, two fully cascade-insured vehicles? Thanks for all the tips.

Truck caught me sideways!
Hey, a truck caught me sideways and he was to blame in my opinion. Recently, the Sacher expert was here to estimate my car.At its value. Sales price would be ~140€ in “okay condition” Audi A3 1.9 TDI 255,000 km Year of manufacture 1996 Defects that have been noticed are estimated white, we were not in the workshop: 1)I have a deep scratch on the passenger side because I arrived at a fire extinguisher box and a 5 cm scratch on the fender (passenger side). a picture only of the deep scratch:https://picload.org/view/rwogcocr/screenshot_20170810-181737.png.html 2)My oil tank is leaking, I would change the week. However, the expert was already there. Will this then be recalculated or does it come again? Because my TÜV is running out soon and it has to be done. 3)The glue on the “car deck sky” has dissolved and now the fabric is hanging down. The expert said car door(linker side) should be replaced, and Kotfl 2000€ damage sounds very good to me, because the car is supposed to be gone anyway. I would never see the 2000€, but only get an offer, because that would be considered as total damage. However, I am afraid to be pulled over the table, what would I have to get at least offered, what would be a good price? Have experience, with such a thing ? PS: Living in Austria. Mfg

External mirror damaged – how best to handle the insurance?
Hello everyone, now it happened today on a return trip on the highway in the dark during rain – I touched a beacon with the outside mirror, the right outside mirror was damaged (outside cover was off, mirror hung down on cables, mirror housing remained optically intact, main functions were apparently ok after again plugging on the mirror, but still had to continue for 2 hours in the rain, no idea where the water got everywhere…) and a approx. 5cm long, 1-2mm wide scratches in the side window. My question now to you: I have a comprehensive one, am in Ö home, would it be better to handle this damage over all-round or as parking damage/foreign debt? With the comprehensive one I would probably rise in the BoMa level / premium… how would you handle this? I guess that such an outside mirror (spur change warning, surround view, foldable, seat memory etc) quickly sums up on a workshop bill of 2,000 euros? can one possibly polish out the scratch? Oh yes – please only for constructive answers and if possible no instructions on the legal assessment of such questions, thank you already in advance! Greeting bmok

Accident with rented car (PRIVAT/ without insurance “declared”)
A good year ago (July 2014) I borrowed a car from my girlfriend because I started my training and I came to work badly through the rail replacement traffic. I drove the car with her stepfather over 1 hour so that he could see for himself who he rented the car (old FORD KA automatik ) Tüv to OKT 14. The car was no longer the best and should also be scrapped after the end of the tüvs. We then also worked on the insurance for 2 weeks. Everything went well until I didn’t drive for 5 minutes alone. I drove around a turn and swooped… once completely over. TOTAL SCHADEN! He decided not to let it be clarified about the insurance. The only incurred costs were those of the “cleaning” of the oil track (approx. 450€ ). For the time being we had agreed that I would pay it by instalment (50€/mtl. if possible. otherwise less) (because Azubi with 311€/mtl can not pay everything once). As soon as I only participate in leisure activities that cost a bit (open-air swimming pool, café, …), I get a message that I should rather pay the amount off. I am tired and simply no longer interested in it! That the friendship is probably there too. Do I have to cover the costs because it wasn’t my decision to let go of the insurance? Do I have to cover the costs completely? Greetings and thanks in advance for every answer

Impairment class Transfer, downgrading, percentages
I hope someone here can help me, because my case seems quite complicated to me right now and I’m not looking through it anymore. There are three points that may be taken for themselves, but a big problem arises, which I should cleverly do in this situation. So the following situation: Point 1: The cars I have driven so far (student, 29) have always been admitted to my father. That should change now and the damage caused by the car is not the same. Since I have a good 11 years driving license, I should get a maximum of class 11, right? Well, the insurance ran regularly but only for the last eight years, before that there was a year break, my first car I drove for two years. Is that somehow relevant that there was a break or count only the current class 13 minus the two years. If I look at the HDI customer information here (page 29), I read something of 32%. Can someone tell me how this fits together? So, and now the lead me really complicated part: When I parked I have a car striped, the insurance case is there, time could be typical At the moment, the insurance company is still running on my father, which is supposed to change as I said. From his class 13 he would be downgraded to class 4 or 5, yes by table, where I don’t know which one is really going to be used. Now the question arises, what this means for my transfer, whether it would not be wiser to wait for the insurance case to be settled. Long speech, short sense I try to find out what costs will be coming on me, whether it might not be more useful to change the insurance (HDI is not necessarily the cheapest, at least not if it is possible after the recommendation table) or to restart at SF 1/2 and so on. I hope that is not too much of the good now, but maybe at least parts can be clarified. Wouldn’t be a great thing.
