Hello, I was involved in an accident three weeks ago, in which a teenager drove me into the car by bicycle. According to the police, the situation was “quite clear” because the teenager immediately admitted not to have looked (witnesses were also there). My car has been standing in the workshop for three weeks now, the workshop could also have started the repair immediately, but of course had to wait until she received the release of the opposing liability insurance. The damage is estimated at a little more than 3000 €, the repair time is set at 5 days. To date, the Alliance has still not granted approval and now also takes the view that I would only be entitled to a rental car for the duration of the repair. My question: Is that right? Neither I nor the workshop can do anything for the fact that in the last three weeks could not be repaired and on a car I was definitely interested in this time. Since I haven’t heard anything from the police/public prosecutor/court (???) in the last three weeks, I assume that the question of guilt has been resolved with the accident reception. Or is there anything else that can come up with and therefore the insurance may be in charge of the release? Should I turn on my insurance? The police had advised me and the mother of the causer of the accident (the mother is the insured person) that I should immediately take the opposing insurance. end what I did on the day of the accident. Thanks for the answers – unfortunately I have no idea about the issues and I’m just kind of mad.

Accident management after total damage
Hi, because I’m new here and I didn’t find anything in the FAQ that fits my case, I opened a new thread. I hope that’s OK. I have the following problem and don’t want to be a lawyer, because this one will only cost me money and it’s definitely something to handle. About 4 months ago, a truck hit my car and broke something neatly. The workshop, to which I always drive, said: Without an expert, there is nothing more!” Then one of the DEKRA commissioned. He came in the same time and took pictures and made copies of the vehicle registration and the report of the police. Since both windows of the doors were broken, I got a rental car and agreed to the repair. The next day the master of the workshop called me and told me that car was actually a total damage, but only slightly above the value it would have. I don’t remember the expression that he used, but ic h could have the car repaired. I thought and asked for time to think and looked around for another car, but found the quick none. Then I agreed to the repair, but with the promise that it should not cost me a cent. I also got that in writing. My Elfriede, so it was called, was also repaired and everything was paid by the other insurance without any problems. Now I had the bad luck that I had a little more than 2 weeks ago with ice cream On the way from the stable to Haue I left the road and put Elfriede in the ditch. At the front right the whole axle, the bumper, fenders and something like that broke. Since I have no full insurance and the repair costs would blow up my budget, I sold Elfriede to a scrap dealer. Drive now again a Kangoo about Renaultleasing and am satisfied. But now comes the bad awakening. Had this morning a writing of the insurance in the letter she wants to have almost 1,000 Euros back from me, because I didn’t use my car for 6 months!!!!!! Can they do that and is the right one? I can’t do anything for the accident and the workshop guaranteed that I don’t have to pay a cent. Isn’t that their problem? Besides, the insurance had already paid everything! Why would they want money back then? Maybe someone can help me from you and give me advice. Ilona PS. Had read in other threads I don’t have that.

Why is the insurance at Deutsche Allgemeine always the best?
So an example: DA – German General: 1,203,37 € 300 € / 150 € (UK / TK) KRAVAG-Allgem. Vers.: 1,461,99 € 300 € / 150 € (UK / TK) R+V: 1,603,99 € 300 € / 150 € (UK / TK) That’s almost always so – always the DA is significantly cheaper than others! Sometimes 50 Euro, sometimes 150€, sometimes 200€ etc. – no matter how much, always cheaper. Is there anything different than with others or are they really always cheaper?

Kaüfer does not register car, insurance wants to have money
So with me is somehow the worm in it. I sold on Saturday the 11.10.2008 my old Mercedes registered. With purchase contract (name, address, PA number etc)…. The buyer wanted to re-register the car in the next 5days. I went to the road traffic office on Monday the 13.10.2008 and communicated the sale and submitted a copy of the contract with. So I thought that I was out of the matter. But the seller sold the car within 3 atgen, of course me And the current owner of the car still drives around with my license plate, so he has not yet re-registered it. I called the registration office on 02.01.2009 again. On 30.12.2008 came a bill of my insurance (Europe directly from Dortmund) with the request I should pay for the period from 01.01.09 – 01.04.2009 my contribution for the Mercedes. Since I became of course stubborn. So have the period from 11.10.2008 – until now, I didn’t get credit and want to have money for the next 3 months. Of course I called right away and told them all that, they only said I had bad luck because I didn’t send a purchase contract to the insurance company. On Monday I should send a copy of it to them and then it will probably take 4 weeks until the insurance company automatically cancels. Is this all right? Does not the insurance company have to take over the date from the purchase contract or from then on It’s about 500€ insurance premium. Would you be nice if you could help me somehow, with a verdict from some court or something… So now I’m looking forward to your answers

German car in England
Hello people I want to get my German car to England, because the insurance for the Mondeo is really too expensive for me. And n Corsa 1.0 would be only bit cheaper, because I am only 19 and come from Germany, and only a year here in England is for the Abitur. I only have a car here for about 2 months and that costs me 2700 pounds of liability in the Jahe. I think. For a Mondeo. Really so expensive the island. Presumably until May next year I will stay here. And I I had to take my German car here before this year. But the insurance company said to me, despite a green card, that my car will only be insured for three weeks in England. Otherwise I have no protection after three weeks if I want to stay longer. I also used the SuFu and read a two-year-old article, where it is written that the one here in England with his German Au So I can really stay with the car in England longer (German registration and insurance and of course also license plates^^) or is it really only possible for a short period of time. So again if it is possible, I will get it over Christmas and until probably May or June I will stay here in England, so for half a year about. And if someone has had such experience or what knows about which V insurance goes such a thing and what does it cost extra to the normal contribution? Because my insurance does not work. Many greetings from the United Kingdom

Percent take over….
Hi… So here’s the problem…my husband is 24 (and I am 22). So, as I’ve read myself smartly, he can take over the percentages from his father. I hope that’s right. And that’s as long as he has the driver’s license. The car belongs to us and has always been financed by us. The question is now, how much do I have to expect for the insurance? It’s a Skoda Fabia Combi, 1.9 TDI. Currently, the insurance amount amounts to about 600 euros at 35 % The problem is, we live very far away from his father and finally want to let the car on him. Because the whole is always annoying. I hope I’m not annoying with this topic and you can help me because I don’t have that much idea in this regard. Oh, so exactly….I don’t know if the car is registered as a second car on his father or first car (don’t know if the car is registered on his mother or father, which my parents-in-law drive) I just wanted to ask if the transfer of the percentages creates any disadvantages for my father-in-law? Many many thanks already in advance!!

Liability damage to new vehicle (expert, impairment…)
Hello, my 11 month old car (list price 32,000 EUR; 12000 km) was taken the way forward. Despite the low speed the driver’s door is completely shut (must be changed in EVERY case), the door of the rear row and side part at the back also got something off, I don’t know if this has to be changed by force. Important: Threshold under the driver’s door also has a nasty kink. Had to stick the door off now, so that it doesn’t rain in, closes no more bundi G. Accident was taken up by the police (accident cause insisted, even now he still has points on his neck.) I should be right, spares clarifications with his insurance. My question is how do I get out of the number myself now, his insurance has registered and wants to have the vehicle inspected by an expert of the DEKRA.1. Can I assume that the same impairment is determined as if I bring an expert? 2. Od I have to be active myself? If the impairment is too small, can I still turn on my own? 3. What is a reasonable impairment amount? Thank you for your feedback.

Percentage take-over and holder/insurer difference – very tricky
Hello first to everyone, I’m addressing you because of a very tricky case: To me: I’ve had a driver’s license for almost 7 years, have been in a wheelchair for about 2 years after an accident (not a car) and get a newly ordered car next week.. Now it’s about insurance. I just wanted the car to register my mother (open service, second car, would start with 60%). Was cheap and top, she would have been a policyholder and holder (only disadvantage I would not have taxed). Now the problem: Auto dealership says that I have to be a holder so that I also get the 20% discount as agreed…And they would indicate that I am a holder 140% of the price 2nd possibility: My uncle has another decommissioned insurance (on which I have already registered n car) with SF11. Then I can be a holder, he policyholder and of the price about 750 €. But now the percent right holder is still my grandpa, who is already dead for over 10 years. The insurance says you have to transfer the % to my uncle (since the rights holder is the VN and holder 3 different persons is too much). But I would never be able to get that then, because it only goes from father-son or just grandfather-angel…But I want the % if I drive long also iwann take over. That I can not completely take over the 11 is clear (max. 7), but do you think I could leave it with my grandpa and iwann try to transfer to me? Or sol l I ask if I can transfer the % to my dad (but who no longer has a driver’s license for years) because I can then almost fully take over the iwann? I thank you already now for your help!!! Begbie
