  • Kasko SELECT vs Longlife GUARANTEE

Hello guys, I want to buy a VW car and compare insurance prices and services … I want to make a warranty extension for the car in order not to get stuck on high repair costs, because you are not immune to repairs despite quite new car. But this means that I have to have every service done in a VW workshop. Now I also want to insure the car in a cheap and comprehensive manner, with a good 20% total costs saved if you have to A so-called KASKO SELECT concludes, whereby: “In case of damage, the insurer selects the workshop where the vehicle is repaired.” I wonder if the requirements for the GUARANTEE and those for the INSURANCE are compatible. So, what does the VW workshop say, if the insurer workshop, in case of an accident repair, installs any third-party components, or what do I know? Perhaps someone has had experiences or justified assessments on this topic. rraus HT

  • Accident management problem – pre-damage

Hello, I asked a question and that was 6 months ago a car rammed my parking car and ran away, however, jemmand wrote down the number plate and informed me the police who informed me if what was on it before I could be because the car didn’t belong to me but to my mother. • Problems–> opposing private liability

On 26.6 my Passat Variant was damaged by a passing driver. He rang (know him away) and gave to the damage. He reported it to his private liability. (He should only make sure that an expert should be consulted) The next day we were in a VW contract workshop and he signed a cancellation declaration to his private liability. A reviewer was ordered by the workshop and an expert report on a damage caused by 240€ an impairment of 250€ and a downtime of 4-5 days (approx. 250€) was created and everything was submitted to the insurance company. Today the insurance company registers by post that my claim was rejected because the pictures of the damage did not fit to the damage. Now I ask myself: What is my check? Only the downtime and the downtime? Or the total repair costs and downtime and impairment? Thus the accident causer subordinates the assignment declaration ieben has and it has admitted to have caused the damage is his claim to get the repair paid by the insurance or am I wrong? Have an appointment at the Di with the insurance. Do you need your advice to know what to say!!!

  • Cost estimate reduced by insurance. Is that allowed?

Hello, recently an older lady drove me into my Audi. Her insurance doesn’t want an expert report but an estimate. So I sent one to my Audi partner and sent it to the insurance company. The workshop has estimated the damage with 1300 euros without VAT. Today I got a letter from the insurance company, which says that a free workshop near me wants to repair the damage for 950 euros and that I only have 950 euros. My question is now, can the insurance company do something like that? Can she tell me that I have to have my vehicle repaired with any fugitives? Thank you for your help.

  • Is that so: size of the rental car depending on the age of my vehicle?

Moin all, someone told me the following: If I use a car rental during the repair of my (unindebted) accident-damaged vehicle, the opposing insurance will pay me only a significantly smaller vehicle, depending on how old my vehicle is. So: If I have a middle class combi, which is already 12 years old, I have only the right to a compact car. If my car is new, however, I get the same vehicle class (middle class) as L Is that true? If yes, according to what calculation formula is this determined? However, I do not understand that. It would mean that you get a rental car of comparable value instead of comparable CONSUMER VALUE. I just imagine: On the extended weekend my family rides happily with five people in the golf in the short vacation. We are then very happy about the high value of this beautiful new rental vehicle, is really much better than our great Volvo combo, only the suitcases on the lap disturb something …

  • Park damage on “sample journey”

Hello! Please for help! I won a voucher for a “experience ride with a BMW” for a weekend of my choice during a competition. I picked up the vehicle from the dealer last weekend. Before that he copied my driver’s license and filled out a sheet with my data (address, tel.nr. etc.). Then there was a short introduction to the automatic circuit etc. Before driving away he still meant I should deal with it carefully, since they realistically high self retention on their vehicles have, although it is of course fully covered. I was a bit stunned, but no longer thought about it as I was looking forward to the new car. I signed or never saw any conditions in case of damage etc. As the devil wanted, a little unhappy happened to me when I parked backwards and I easily tanged a house wall (yes, I know I can hald times) The result were very small paint damage on the rear bumper. Return of the vehicle I reported the damage to an employee who thought the damage had to be looked at carefully and they would then report to me. Nothing further, I drove home. Today the gentleman with whom I had picked up the vehicle came and said I had to pay a deductible of about 1020€ for the replacement of the bumper, because they wanted to sell the car still and therefore the whole part had to be replaced. us? By the way, come from Austria. Thank you in advance for any answer.

  • Car rented => Engine damage

Servus people, the problem doesn’t have to do directly with insurance. But it’s about the question of liability. Since my girlfriend’s sister is on vacation for 2 weeks, she lent me her car (19-year-old Ford Fiesta). On the 5th day the engine stopped while driving. According to ADAC-Mensch the diagnosis is: most likely engine damage (engine clamps) We informed the vehicle owner by phone. It is of course fixed and finished. Now the best.. . Their parents (they went on vacation together) think I should be on the line for the damage. However, my opinion is that the damage is due to wear and tear after all, the car is no longer the youngest. For this reason, the engine would sooner or later have failed with *any* drivers. I would like to try to support the vehicle owners that they get a replacement car as soon as possible. However, I do not realize that because of the damage I have half (!) zah I would like to hear from you the opinions. I would also like to know what the situation would look like if a customer had an engine damage in the case of a rental car? Will the customer then be liable? Would any insurance (liability) pay for it? I think no, because it is a wear part (engine). Thank you! Flea

  • No seamless car change – problem for insurance?

I only get my new one in September, but think about giving up my current one now. I can also drive with my girlfriend for the 2 months. I already wrote to my insurance company (Allsecur) if this is a problem if I’m not a customer so to speak but once again I don’t get an answer – they have a reaction time of several weeks if at all a response comes. Very annoying but cheap for it. How is this generally when you don’t have a car for a few months? and can be insured again. Do you still keep your SF class, or does it always have to be seamless?

  • Insured second/third-party with foreign insurance?

Good morning together, I just have to calculate a little and ask myself now for the umpteenth time the question with which data I should feed the online computers. The following: A car (full kasko) and a KRad (part kasko) insured with company “A”. Now a transitional car should be registered (all year, few kilometers per year) and although I have already insured both cars with the company “A”, they are unexpectedly expensive with regard to the car. To be precise, the fun car is despite part kasko 100 Euro more expensive than my complete vehicle. Now I plan to insure the car (value approx. 2500 Euro) with company “B” or to have something calculated. Do I now have to insure a “first vehicle”? Or do I have to insure a “second car”? I am thinking especially of my damage-free years. As a first vehicle I am classified with SF 1/2, i.e. about 12 years to “low”. Does this achieved classification now also matter? Or do I start with a foreign insurance company The Admiral assures vehicles only up to 15 years as TK, in the detention light they are unbeatablely cheap but I would like a partial cascade due to the covered glass damage. Anyone an idea? Thank you in advance and greetings Daniel

  • Car broken open without TÜV

Hello@all With a friend of mine the car was broken up last night. However, since 06.2015 the car no longer has a TÜV he would have had to check up until 30.07.2015. Now the acquaintance has afraid that the insurance could make worse because of the missing TÜV. Should he now worry or not Navi and Airbag have been stolen. Thanks already for your help.
