This morning on the radio (FFH) I heard a report that petrol claws are increasing again. If the tank cover does not open then a hole is put down in the tank and the leaking petrol is caught. The damage to the tank is to be borne, if at all, by corresponding comprehensive insurance. To the insurance professionals here: Why does not the TK jump in here? Between “hole in the tank” and “petrol was stolen” IMHO causality and also d it is likely to be difficult to deny objective correlations.

Expired freedom of claims discount
Hello guys, I have a very big problem: My father, who died in 2008, had two car insurance contracts with SFR 25 and 17 years old. Due to a consulting error of the insurance representative these discounts have now lapsed to me. He unfortunately did not tell me that the contracts have to be rewritten after half a year at the latest. If I now find a car insurance insurance that does not have this annual period clause (should there be), I can of the old insurance (AXA) the Rab my question: Does anyone know such a car insurance? Thank you for your feedback in advance. Chris 1966

Discount rescuer after accident
Hi, I had a snug ride with a guardrail today on Eisglatter track. The comprehensive takes care of the damage, but what about the discount rescuer I have in my UK? I have a damage per calendar year “free”, remains to me -if I have no further damage this year of course – my SF class received or is there a “small print” you know what I could have overlooked? I am insured with the AXA/DBV and have the discount protection comfort. Greetings Alex

Recommendation for car comprehensive insurance?
Hi! On 30.04.2010 I can pick up my new Audi A3 Sportback. Currently I am looking for a good insurance. That means “good” with regard to performance and price. The ratio has to be right. At first I thought I would be quite sure with the HDI insurance. But then the new value compensation of 12 months somewhat bothered me. I would like to have 18 months. So I came across the Huk or Huk24. Price was also interesting and the services seem 18 months of revalued damage is there (at an additional cost even 24 months). I am disturbed by something that I have already heard from some that Huk is a bit problematic in the event of damage. Do you have any further suggestions? What would be with the WGV for example? Are compared with the Huk with regard to P/L, but a little unknown… Greeting & many thanks! A3sebb

first accident how to behave correctly?
Evening first people, First here the data and information about my car: Brand: Alfa Romeo 145 BJ: 1998 Engine: 1.8 TS 140PS KM: 122.000km In 2013 the vehicle was rebuilt, engine overhauled and also completely re-lacquered with Flip Flop paint…everything was done by a private car dealer. Now to my problem, on Sunday 07.07.17 I drove a grandpa into my car when I parked out…of course nothing else happened with him but everything was pressed in behind the driver’s door. Vehicle can drive normally and still has no impairments, but the damage is nevertheless extremely annoying and bothers me totally. He reported the damage to his insurance which I also did (he did due Huk Coburg). They sent me to a contract workshop where I should take a cost estimate of the damage + photos….an expert report is not necessary. Today I also drove there (maybe already a mistake??), there everything was taken again u and photos of the damage were taken. It was also noted that my drive was rebuilt + the flip flop paint. Now the opposing insurance called me and suddenly wants to send me a report of the damage in this respect now an expert of those… exactly here my alarm bells have jumped now because I had read after a bit browse on the Internet that many insurances do the same and often then the report in favor of the insurance fails. therefore now is me a question…how do I have to proceed correctly? Can I now drive to another workshop and get an estimate or am I now bound to the contract workshop because I was already with them? (no data was recorded yet). Can I also take a neutral expert or do I have to make an appointment with their reviewer? he wants to call tomorrow because of an appointment for a visit….what do I tell him then? How about the r Even if the car has already been on the hump for a few years..cann’t it be that I’m now being fed with a few 100€ just because their reviewer probably wants to push the price. If I’m really very unfair that I’m still being punished for the stupidity of others. Sorry for asking maybe stupid, but never had an accident. P.S. here’s a photo of the damage:

Accident damage with hit-and-run, what do you do?
Hello dear community 🙂 I was called to work yesterday to my car. There was already the police and examined my car. Someone had “shaving” my astra along the driver’s side and then removed from the scene of the accident. However, since there was a witness, he was able to inform the police as well as give a description of the car. As far as so good. The police then handed me the damage number and shared with that the causer is now visited, the name I did not answer the witness. They didn’t have to drive far, they found the car parked 75m further on the main road. The police could very quickly meet a clear noise with the tracks on the car, which was it. However, there was nothing to see from the driver far and wide. He got a note to the disc and that was it then. Today by means of the plate his verse called.. This told me quite soberly, that as long as not her seller as the causer clearly I would be well advised to get the name of the witness out. Otherwise, the procedure would take up to half a year before they even get information from the police. However, they would ask their expert to contact me to assess the damage. Question: Has anyone had the same experience? Does such statements actually vote? Would I be well advised to take a lawyer on the matter? Ig Zfanatic

Car damaged from falling ice sheets from truck…nun 2 ask
Since I have already asked the question in the VW forum and I was referred to the experts from the insurance forum… I set the same again here: ————————————————————————————————— MoinMoin! Yesterday a truck approaching the motorway lost a lot of ice and ice sheets from its trailer, which of course all rained on my beautiful passi. The result: scratches, a dent and broken paint on Motorha ube, bumper and left fender as well as a broken windshield. Thank God I could remember the registration number of the trailer, because he did not stop of course. Through the police I could then find out the holder and have already made contact with him and his insurance, everything seems to run very reasonable so far. I should send an estimate of the cost of my car house to the insurance company and take over a car rental which due to the age of the vehicle my question now is whether there has been a loss of value on my pass (just under 2 years young, 53,000 km) due to the repair (browsing, painting of the bonnet, shock rod and fender) and the replacement of the windscreen? If yes, how do I expect it, because I want to have it back from the insurance in the context of the loss of value. Many greetings Tobi

Insurance recommends workshop
Hello, I had a self-inflicted driving accident with my Golf V Variant (Bj. 08) this morning. The front has been damaged, I am able to get a picture. I have a VKV with 300 SB without workshop binding at the DA directly. The damage advisor of the insurance advised me that I could also order with the repair a ADAC workshop (he called it) from the insurance ‘always gladly recommended’ in my home town. ratur in the amount of €4,000. My advantage is a Hol- & Bringservice, which I would not get at VW. The mentioned workshop also called me about 1h afterwards to clarify the modalities. But I asked the nice gentlemen first for a reflection time.I am not sure if the recommendation of the DA should follow directly. My questions to you: 1. Does the current status “checkheftpft” for my car expire with a “Fremdreparatur” (so not at VW) for example? 2. Will there be a later sale? the car (in about 5 years) price reductions for the “fremdreparatur”? 3. Is the recommended workshop possibly stopped by the insurance to make the repair cheaper (mg. parts spat, paint instead of using new parts)? I have no idea with insurance stuff, would I be pleased about your help.

Rockfall Windshield Insurance doesn’t want to pay rain sensor
Hello, I drive a Golf V from EZ 1/2008 and the car has all-inclusive and partial cascade without SB. The windshield has a rockfall, was in the field of view and was not allowed to be repaired, so disk out. Was at VW because Carglass & Co. were too full with appointments, well – I have no workshop binding. The VW dealer swaps the disc and the rain sensor, but the insurance does not want to pay the rain sensor because it was not defective, but changed from the dealer quite easily Car-Glass & Co. would always only exchange the disc, never like things like rain sensor etc. Now I hang on EUR 160,00 for the rain sensor, what do you mean? The rain sensor is also a single part, and the dealer says of course he always does so. On the order is also exchange windshield and rain sensor. I don’t know about it, thought that belonged together. I used to have rockfalls, but never such sensors in the disc. Pays Your insurance such extras? Thank you JD

Accident, civil action, but upgraded immediately
Hello, I’ve been chewing the subject several times with my insurance, but up to now I haven’t got a usable statement. I had an accident last year in August, everyone had agreed to pay for his damage and good. I drove a scooter in the gas station with less than step speed into the car, I have a barely visible dent in the fender, he has overturned along with the scooter, has tightened his knee and a plastic part inside in his 20 years a It is obvious that the opponent of the accident is trying to get money out of here, that this is the case. I had a complaint 2 weeks later about negligent assault in the mailbox. This has meanwhile been dropped by the prosecutor. The opponent of the accident has now taken a lawyer and is acting civilly against me. My insurance has now upgraded me after felt 20 letters, already in the SF. It is obvious that the opponent of the accident wants to get money out of here, that is He was alone, I had a witness in the car, who had already testified. Even if it doesn’t matter, it’s an older, in my opinion confused man, this was what the petrol station owner, who was visited by him a few times every day to get to the videotapes, which were already overplayed. Just like the policeman who took both statements. I just want to know if it’s normal, even with the pure Assignment of guilt to the opponent of the accident to be upgraded. Who knows how long the story is going on, do this for me at the moment with TK 30,- more a month, which makes a lot of difference with the technicianBafög. Thank you in advance greetings
