Servus, I’d like to buy a vintage car in France. It’s registered there, etc. I thought I’d just go over there for a short period of time and drive over. Then I realized that these plates are not valid in France, and the insurance is only valid in France if I were to go there. Meanwhile I know that I can still drive to the German border with the French plates, but what about an insurance policy? After that, the seller is somehow no longer responsible for what would happen, but the buyer. Now I wonder, where do I get such an insurance and how? How long does it take for me to have the insurance? Does anyone have experience with such a problem? Servus Mario

Question about death Father: Transfer of the SF class to mother or children?
Hello together, My father died 1 week ago and since my mother is full of grief, I take care of everything. Anyway, there is now a tricky situation because of my father’s car. It was registered to my father and the insurance just as only on him. My parents are immigrated to Germany in 1989, however, also the driver’s license from the country of departure was accepted, which is why my father had SF 30. My mother also had a driver’s license in our old home t, who has been recognized in Germany, but she has practically never driven a car in Germany. Accordingly, she has practically no driving experience, but I would not necessarily tie this to the insurance company now. Or am I obliged to tell the truth here? My sister is 29 and has SF 1/2 due to various incidents and I am 31 with SF 9 (also not completely harm free). That means we could both improve our SF if we take it from the father. It would be ideal if my mother would take over the SF 30 now (indicated that my father was driving primarily and that she was only “unpleasant” and that she would actually start driving for the next 7 years. I would also spend a few hours in the driving school (theory + practice) and we would also spend only a few hours in the driving school (theory + practice) and we would only spend a few hours in the driving school. n Buy automatic car to make it easier. But unfortunately my mother is undecided Now I have presented the facts and now the questions come to this: 1. I read that the insurance requires proof that spouses/children were also traveling with the insured vehicle. What should this look like? 2. Can my mother take over the SF 30 completely and use it also over the next 7 years? 3. Is it problematic if the insurance at the end of the yes Mres is terminated after the SF acquisition? Currently the car is sold and therefore there is no insurance requirement at the moment. 4. Can my sister or I take over the SF classes and what would it look like? Thank you

Accident had how to proceed now
Moin together, I had a small accident. Shortly to the approach: In front of me was a car, which oriented to the extreme right to the road edge and greatly reduced the speed (innerorts). I assumed that he wanted to stop right and then pulled out blinking left to drive past him. When I was already about a meter next to him, he put the turn signal on the left and pulled out directly because he wanted to turn. I then got into the brake and tried I went into the door very easily. Damage to me bumper front, with him the door. Police was on the spot and said we both made a mistake. I should not have overtaken a left turner. Well, let’s take it that way, although the left turn when I set up to overtake was not visible. He should have taken note of the backlog traffic. I can now go to the penalty point wa In conclusion: it will probably lead to a division of responsibility. And now the questions come: I have reported the damage to my liability and directly noted that a partial debt regulation is considered. However, the nice clerk could not tell me anything about the division of responsibility …. well what should be said about it. With the opposing insurance I also have directly a How does the whole thing work out with the partial debt now. Does the insurance company deal with each other? Is there anything from the penalty office or how? If we now get a debt of 50/50, for example, each gets 50% of his damage refunded and has to pay 50% of the counter? How do I claim my damage? Was the VW company responsible for the damage? I’m a bit overwhelmed by the situation and hope someone can give me a few tips here.

Merchant guarantee??
Hello, don’t know if the thread is 100% correct here, but I didn’t find a better suitable section. So here’s my question: what does this actually look like with dealer guarantee? There’s a certain obligation, right? But what does it look like. Was a used car dealer, and asked for a warranty, he then said that he didn’t offer any insurance for it, because he first has to insure himself against it. As far as I know, the legal guarantee can’t Is that right???? Thx Jowasa

Accident at the time of change of track
The driver didn’t see me at the change of lane. The driver admitted the fault immediately. And she said that she would report this to the insurance company (company car). Hope she stays with me, so we didn’t call the police. (Hope that wasn’t a mistake.) Now I was at the workshop this morning because of a cost estimate and they meant I needed an expert because of the rear door. (It is slightly pressed in) I have not yet commissioned this one, since I do not yet know if the driver has reported the damage to the insurance. (They estimate the damage to approx. 2400 EUR, when replacing the rear door) Do I have to wait for the expert to go to the insurance? Or can I order it already after I know if the damage is reported to the insurance? Pictures I have in the attachment. How best to do this and for how long Can this take time? (Is my first damage)

Insurance costs for new entrants?
I, 19 years, for 2 years in possession of a driver’s license (driver’s license with 17), participated in the accompanied driving, drive regularly with my mother’s car, about 8000km a year, let me calculate with several comparison pages on the internet times the “favorable” tariff. For test purposes I took a 2002 Golf IV with 75 hp (petrols). Only I have the feeling that something goes wrong. If I assure the car quite normal on me the contributions are lower than if I assure my father (many drivers, 25 years accident-free). In both cases I would have to pay about 1500 euros a year with the best insurance, even if I only take liability. So something is not quite right. What would you say it would cost me to insure the “test car” about my father? I am grateful for every realistic estimate.

Did you compare the tariffs again???
I just don’t get a green denominator. If you want to know everything that I have compared with each other so far, it wasn’t as much cheaper than the HUK Coburg General. If I pay for my diesel/partial cascade SF 12 and in liability SF 8 for next year. Means 420 euros a year with workshop binding. With discount protection, an accident in the HF and VK is allowed, no more. if I read through what the so-called direct insurers do in case of damage then I get bad. I don’t trust them either, then I’d rather pay a little more and have a contact on site.

Wild damage – impairment
Hello, I drive a Passat 3c Variant 2.0 TDI 125kw Sportsline EZ 05/2007 which is financed by a balloon – financing. Now it had to come as it had to come 3 months before the end of the term I have a wild damage. The expert of my insurance has already looked at the car, exchange door front, door back + co-painting driver side incl. ancillary work are listed in the report – repair costs according to report about 1900 Euro. an accident vehicle, even if it is repaired in a VW car dealership. What I lack in the report is the listing of the mercantile inferior value. Is this usually not included so that I have to commission this myself, or should this be listed in the report? The first answer of the expert to an e-mail from me was only that it does not pay the insurance – which is clear to me in case of a wild damage… But to me the determination by the expert would be important – since I nic ht knows what the AH would like to deduct and I will return the vehicle at the end of the runtime… Can anyone say by chance pi*daumen what the impairment would be in this case? According to the expert, the vehicle has otherwise been in a good condition corresponding to the vehicle’s age, there were no pre-damages. Greetings, thle PS. If further information is necessary for the calculation of the impairment I can provide the still

TK for super athletes?
Hello, I bought a new motorcycle (GSX-R1000 K7) and almost hit me when I saw the insurance premium. 520,-€ HP with TK 150 at SF2… I then played around a little with the insurance comparison computer of nafi-auto and have registered a performance reduction to 98hp times and see there: 158,70 HP with TK 150 at SF2… I can understand the high HP premium because of the higher performance (double performance, double premium), but that the partial cassorisko around the Factor 4.5 is incomprehensible to me, because the insured risks have no relation to performance. Therefore, I wonder if there is the possibility to insure a motorcycle separately against theft.

Allow registered seasonal vehicle without TÜV
Hello, can someone tell me what I have to do. My season car runs from 4 to 10. Last it was on the road on 31.10.09. On 31.03.10 I then signed it off for the 2010 season. In April 2010 the TÜV would have been due. Now I would like to allow it again for 2011 from 4 to 10. Do I have to do TÜV first and then allow it or vice versa? If I do the TÜV then I have 2 years TÜV or will I be backdated there? Thank you.
