Tax chain must be renewed immediately after purchase of used cars, who pays and how?
A week ago I bought a Polo 1.2l, EZ 2004 with a current mileage of 106,000km from a dealer, this is in a basically well-kept condition, because I myself have little idea of the technical apse of cars, I sent it again to a workshop for a check-through. There I was told that the car was fine so far, but the control chain has to be changed urgently, because it certainly does not last 5,000km and then in the sc I checked the purchase contract, there the tax chain was not listed as defective comparable! Of course I will confirm the statement of the workshop once again by another, since it would certainly not be the first one who tries to make some kind of money. Just here is the question, am I now the stupid and must pay for the repair or falls the tax chain under the warranty and if so, how do I make my own Claim here, without the dealer coming out somehow and I remain at the expense? I have unfortunately little experience and a little fear of being pulled over the table!

Question on an expert opinion
My son has driven one on the back. The debt question is clearly with the other. We had an expert report drawn up, which looks like this. Replacement value: 5000,- € Tax neutral Repair costs 4,200,- € incl. VAT Rest value: 1,800,- € incl. tax The remaining value offers are all from the surrounding area. So no further than 30 KM away. The opposing insurance has now corrected the remaining value to 2,300,- € upwards with an offer in the middle of Germany. I was informed that it is normal for the evaluators to only obtain regional offers. However, the insurance company itself has then obtained a national offer. Why is this done like this? Why does my evaluator not also receive a national offer?

Hello everyone . my wife hit the pillar today after work , at the drive out parking garage , thus at the back right and the spoiler badly damaged . we have no workshop binding (full casket ) but the insurance still recommended us a workshop and meant better if we go there . what do you mean ?

Smoke damage on the motorcycle
Hello dear forum, I’m new here and I signed up especially for this topic. I’m Tom, 27 years from Muc. To my concern: Two weeks ago there was an underground car fire and all vehicles are now unusable or can be repaired. My motorcycle also got some soot. Brand stove was a 5-ser BMW (in the middle of the vehicle; bonnet had only jumped up but not burned!) in a duplex box, in which the other half was full of furniture. The BMW driver refuses to initiate anything (although many victims are already listed under the damage number), since the facts are still unclear whether it was arson, a technical defect of the vehicle or if it was not even from the furniture belonging to someone else (?). At first glance the motorcycle does not look bad, I was fortunately standing on the other side of the 200 m long garage. However, I don’t know what kind of a car the BMW driver is. Heat development prevailed and whether my hydraulic components did not take any damage from it -> no more braking effect in the worst case! An expert costs 500 – 1000€, so I shyly turn it on. I also have neither full- or partial cascade, so I would stay at the expense if it were running stupidly. I have to remember that the longer I wait with the cleaning of the machine, the soot continues to eat into the paint and leather seat and handles and I have already taken photos! With my legal protection insurance I would have an SB of 100€. I also have to bear in mind that the crime is not solved.. What do you advise me to do? Thank you! Lg

Hello, just landed in an endless waiting loop at the insurance company… Can anyone tell me how the damage will be compensated for with a Navi theft? The Navi was fixed. The insurance already meant that they only replace the time value. Does this mean that I get a fixed amount replaced and what I do with it is left to me? Or do I have to prove with an invoice from a dealer that I have bought a replacement device? Background: I could reasonably afford a return Smoked navigator from private, but without invoice. (I was traveling backwards in a parking lot and an inattentive driver drove me to the car when I parked out sideways) Since the driver had to pay a warning money on site and the police thought the fault was with the accident opponent, I have no idea Until my liability insurance has informed me that the opponent of the accident has filed a regulatory request and I am supposed to comment on the approach. I am therefore directly from the lawyer… According to the report, the damage to the opposing vehicle amounts to 2800 euros, on my own 1800 euros. I drive an Audi A6 3.0 TDI Avant Quattro BJ10, the opponent of the accident a Passat Kombi BJ 08. (The expert of the opponent of the accident has probably counted very well, 2600 euros for a damaged Passat-Stußsta nge and with me a new bumper and complete C-pillars and rear painting should cost only 1600 Euro) Until this morning I thought we were well insured, with my 300 Euro for the VK SB the topic would be through, but far missing. The HDI re-evaluates the VK of SF29 in SF16 and the HF of SF29 even on SF12 !!! I calculated that I would have annual insurance additional costs of 400 Euro and that because of an accident at which I feel absolutely no damage to my right In my search on the web, I then learned that many of the major insurers from SF25 on top of 1 accident have a maximum of 3 years. I would have expected from my insurance agency (which I thought was capable of so far) that only such tariffs would be proposed to me. But good afterwards one is always smarter. According to my research, it is the case that I keep the current SF with my insurance until the end of the year. the year my insurance would report the current SF status (i.e. SF29)+ 1 accident HF/Kasko. The downgrading would then be according to the table of the new insurance. Are these information correct? Otherwise I would at least regulate the Kasko itself, at 300 Euro SB and 50% payment of the accident opponent there is not much left anyway. Thank you 😉

Retirement accident
Hello together, the following: Person A claims Person B has driven backwards with full throttle from about 1-2 meters distance on her standing car, some visible damage to the front of person A has been caused. No visible or not visible damage has occurred with the passenger car of person B. Person B claims she has not driven backwards or rolled but stood with a brake. Person A also says that she has not driven up but just in case can an expert appointed by the court find the outcome of the accident? This constellation is relatively rare that only one is claimed to be driving up and the other one says he has not noticed anything. Again, if an expert finds that the damage could be caused by one of the vehicles, the measurements can be made, how exactly should he be able to determine that it is exactly this car true ?
