  • Cars in Germany

Hello everyone, I am French, but will soon be working in Germany (Leipzig). I have a Saab 9-5 Aero from 2002, can someone tell me which tax you have to pay in Germany, annually and for admission? I also want to sell this Saab there in a couple of months, and buy an e39 M5 or XJR 4.0 V8. But before that I also want to know how much I will pay for it. Thank you!

  • Rejected authorisation

Hello, 4 years ago I registered a self-driving working machine (tax-free). The expert had still wishes for modifications that I did of course, the head of the registration office wanted to visit the vehicle before registration, i.e. show the vehicle. Since then the vehicle has been registered with green registration plates. (company vehicle). In December 2014 I temporarily deregistered the vehicle, wanted to allow it again. This registration was refused by the registration office. I was refused a written statement from the registration office why the vehicle is not registered. After a written request from me for a statement of reasons, the report is now to be examined. Apart from the fact that the vehicle is then worthless, can it be that I have to pay the taxes since 2011 if the expert issued a wrong report? Apart from that, I had for the desired Conversion costs and, of course, over the years to get the vehicle put money in. Just as a note: Not because of a change of law the registration was refused and a change of the report demanded, but because of the error of the expert. (Self-driving work machine / workshop car). With the addition of workshop car is allegedly not given the tax freedom. But the expert had demanded in 2011 the installation of shelves extra! Greeting A.B.

  • In case of storm: damage by objects (mold container/trampoline)

Hello people, to a relative of mine tonight something really “doofes” happened. He lives in the plate building district, where the dumpsters (with rolls) stand directly at the house entrance. A couple of meters further is already the Parplatz, in between is just grass and curb. Today after very strong wind has come up, a garbage can has detached itself thereby and has banged against the car from my relative. Damage : Kaputter headlight as well as a very large bump. The car next to it is also busy Is the housing company responsible for the damage or is it simply “pech”?

  • Liability for defects in used cars? (Golf 6 1.4TSI – control chain)

Hello, I bought a used Golf 6 1.4TSI BJ 01.2010 on 02.09.14. Now I had an error on 06.03.15 which accompanied me to the present day. My exhaust gas control light went on. So I brought the car on 07.03. to the dealer who reset the error. This is the error “Nockswelle / crankshaft – ratio implausible”. So he sent me away. A day later the same problem. Since I happen to have a nice ADAC colleague on the parkp I had read the error and quickly advised me to change the control chain because you don’t hear the error immediately. If you hear it, the engine is completely broken and it would be even more expensive. So I gave it to the dealer. All the sensors were changed, the error was reset, a test drive was made and then the car was handed over to me again. On the 11th of March, so again a day later the error came back. Now the mechanics didn’t know any further Since it ran completely round and quiet and came to the conclusion that it must be the control chain and camshaft tensioner – that means open the engine. I immediately said that I have the car only half a year and that it still has to fall into the guarantee. Then the boss laughed and asked me if I have completed a used car warranty. Of course I had none. He explained to me that he had to stick only 1 year for damage to the electronics and everything else would be my Costs. The mechanic then informed me that I can count on at least 700-800€. Now I wonder if this does not flow into the liability for defects and the seller has to bear the costs? I ask for help! EDIT: When the sensors were renewed, I was told that they are a good control chain and are no signs of wear – therefore they were so confused as cih again. BUT – property defects liability does NOT apply to wear parts. Here, I was given the opportunity to said that there was no obvious wear!

  • Change insurance? Cheap cheap?

My Audi A4 B5 costs me now at SF6 108€ in the quarter. For this I have liability + partial cascade (150€ SB) + 2.50€ Protection letter (towing in workshop etc.) + discount rescuer (which is important to me!) Now I have a buddy who drives according to the premise: Mainly cheap. He changes every year to the cheapest insurance, i.e. check24.de, data His reason: “In car insurance, it must definitely be paid if something happens, so it doesn’t matter where you are.” What do you think about it? I could also pay ~30€ less in the quarter (i.e. 120€/year), but would then be with an absolute noname insurance with online contract management.

  • Rockfall Windshield

Question in general: If a rockfall in the windscreen is reported this year, the contract expires at the end of the year, the insurance is still obliged to pay if the processing lasts until the year 2015?SB = 0 €, no workshop binding, insurance refused Payment, argument: Surface damage is not paid, only the pure glass breakage. Is a stonefall no glass breakage Excerpt ABB: A.2.2.5 Glass breakageInsured are fracture damage to the glass breakage. In the case of passenger cars, the cleaning costs of the interior of the vehicle and the damage to illuminants caused by damage to the glazing are also insured. This does not apply to passenger cars in the basic fare. Further consequential damages are not insured.A.2.12 Excess If an excess is agreed, this will be deducted from the compensation for each damage event. We waive the deduction of the excess in the case of glass damage within the meaning of A.2.2.5, if – you report the damage by telephone before repair our damage service and – the damaged glazing is not replaced, but repaired and – the repair is done by one of our partner workshops, which we name to you. If one of the aforementioned conditions is not met, we shall deduct from the compensation the agreed excess in accordance with the first sentence.

  • When’s the housework for vehicles in the garage?

Hello, yes I think the title says everything. If not, does a vandalism housework in a collective garage (300m away from the residence), if you don’t have a VK?

  • Find and reactivate old discount!

Hello, the current information from my current insurance company, that I am classified with SF4, although I have been accident-free since 1995. I am now a freelancer and I have to “turn around every penny”. When I still earned very well, I was worried whether I had to pay for an insurance in the year 400 or 500. How do I have to do to get my “experienced” discounts of the VERGANGENHEIT back? n Nissan Maxima I, I think it was 12/20120, logged out and sold. Since 2009 I drive a motorcycle without informing the insurance that I had the car before. And as I said from 1995 different cars with different insurances. There is a database of insurances after all? What as if I have to do? I am grateful about every tip! Please no comments like “same guilt”. I know that myself. Gruss Frank

  • Insure car for the first time

Hello, I am 20 years young and have bought my driver’s license on 26.11.2012. Of course, the joy is there and one of course would like to buy his first car. I compare the insurances for a very long time and have found one now, namely: https://www.wgv-heindelblau.de/portal/en/home/startseite.html There I would pay 220€ quarterly without Kasko, i.e. only motor vehicle liability. Since I want to buy a cheap car (Twingo, Corsa B, etc.) with which I practice the trial period 1.) I would take the insurance start 01.01.2013. But how does the insurance take place? If I say we buy a car in two weeks, and I have chosen the insurance start on 01.01.2013, can I then not drive before 2013?? So that would be really nice if one would explain to me perhaps briefly how the whole goes on with the first car purchase, because I don’t really know me. and before I somehow make myself punishable by what I know.. Thanks already to you
