  • Ktm Smc 660 `03

    Moin I have a serious problem, my smc has crank bearings and conrod bearings defective, after just 6800 km mileage, I was always good to her , love , oil change and warm driving before she was already a few times leaking lid and housing, I had everything made the dealer and nu because I thought because of every oil change in the workshop made themselves ventilated and the good shell new filter listened to the thing like a shake plate . From the dealer who says 12oo euro na prima I called KTM they really had a lot problem with the “quality managment”. Did someone experience that even then a reply may be moved KTM yes still I am curious and ride for all the sweetness of their KP sport has had a lot of problem with the “quality managment” ?

  • Where titanium valves, where steel valves?

    Who knows where which valves are installed? SX 450? SX525 ==> Steel valves SMR 450/525 ? EXC 450/525 ? Are the valve springs for titanium valves and steel valves the same?

  • Cooler water

    Hi My problem I wanted to change the spark plug and I did but I think it was the temperature sensor for the cooler water screwed out and once came out a green liquid. Now my question to you was that the cooler liquid or something else? Can I just refill it it was not so much about 150ml, which liquid I have to take there. Or was it something completely different. Thanks already in advance.

  • LC4 Ignition 360° wrong

    Hello, a question to savvy screwdrivers. Is it possible (in case of an engine assembly) to put the ignition 360° in reverse on a LC4. The ignition time (marking) appears after all every turn, but a working game has 720° (=2U), the pole wheel sits on the KW and thus the end encoder gets each turn an impulse ;-(((?!?   • BMW wants KTM at the Gurgel

    Hello guys, just had to read in the new MO that BMW is building a single-cylinder Supermoto with Aprillia and Rotax.For 2007. With injection, 150 kilos , 60 hp. As it looks like with soft, ergonomic seat and pilot power as standard tyres. Even the AUspuff is not a block, but small and placed something under the seat. Now I would be interested to see who of you single-cylinder drivers could change to such a BMW if KTM does not yet have a new large single-cylinder with injection on the market. Price similar or cheaper than a KTM.

  • KTM LC4/EXC or wat?

    Have a good day. I will have my Moped driver’s license in my pocket when everything is running smoothly in about 1 month and now I am faced with the crucial question: wat zum Hell soll ich mich nur mein. I am very interested in the LC4 or also the EXC models. But I also have unfortunately only about 1.5 to 2 thousand available, so that I can not exactly get the latest ones. What can you recommend to me as experienced pilots, which is nevertheless quite reliable? P.S:I have auc h n a bit shoots at the EXC, because of 2-stroke and the associated susceptibility, or is the reliable? Would be really great if I could give a few shopping tips, THANK YOU

  • 9 KW in the letter your opinion

    Hello people How do you find that, which are registered with the EXC models mostly 9KW???? I myself drive e.g. an EXC 380 with Doma, open, and without throttle in my letter are only 9KW registered I don’t care(it has open far more than 9KW) but I know even if what happened is the shit on the steam. The other side is but if you drive such a Satan with throttle that it has 9KW also sucks for the engine, I believe that in our latitudes NO KTM properly lega l with throttle is on the road. Open performance is not available with TÜV in contrast. Now purely for interest who of you is legally on the road?? Are you for this that you should get open performance registered with KTM ??? MFG JÖ

  • THE PROBLEM OF THE DECISION

    Servus. As you can already see from the title, I hesitate with a certain decision when it comes to my future mopette…. Since I have already almost decided on two cylinders, because of the long-distance comfort is only “one(?)”: The super duke would be a complete since I had/have a 95 Enduro so far; now came the dealer of my least mistrust, because of my body length, to turn the “idea” to me the 950 Superenduro…. My P roblem now: You don’t hear anything from her. Is she good? Is she bad? Is she just too big for the average German, who still measures “only” approx. 1.80m? Or is she simply too heavy for an enduro? Is she uncomfortable for the long distance? Or what???? 1000 questions. But you don’t hear anything. Nobody seems to have them here in the forum and on the street/off this one I have never seen them…. Problem understood??? Please let yourselves out of greeting M.
