  • KTM SMC ESD and performance ???

    moin all together! wants to get me now, end of the year ne KTM SMC 660! since I am an animal sound freak, I want to screw in directly a few nice end silencers! have seen at goetz nen some very nice bags: Sebring Hunter! you crawl there directly both ESD ́s (right + left) or you have to pay per ESD 389€? can anyone give me nen tip? and how is the sound of the ESD ́s? next question: will the KTM drive first throttled since I am only 18. But if I am only 18 21 am now, I open the door! Only what’s a pity that the KTM has only 34 hp! What can you do with all this performance? How much hp do you get the SMC 660, so that the TÜV also certifies this? MFG: Johnny

  • Change the chain?

    Hello, I have a LC4 625 SC – my chain is only completely finished by now – so wants to renew the whole tunes now but I have never done anything like this before. Does anyone have a good instruction how to do it best when changing, what you have to consider everything, what torques, etc? Or some tips from people who speak from experience? Would be really great…! What I noticed – when I was last driving, I am at the rear silencer on the inside (below the suspension) There’s now a hole in the damper but can’t recognize a thread or the like – looks like there’s still a disc or something on it (you can see quite clearly because there’s no dirt anymore ) Can someone tell me what belongs there? *g* Exhaust sounds like shit with a hole.   • Silencer: KTM HXC – Questions about assembly

    Hello and a healthy new year! I bought a HXC sports muffler for my Kati (LC4 640 BJ98). I would like to ask you a few questions 🙂 (I bought the exhaust at ebay and only get it in a few days.) 1. I bought it mainly because of the better look and sound. However, I don’t want to give away the possible extra power – what do I have to do to get the optimal performance with the muffler ?? (I don’t want to go to the P my air filter is completely original and as a carburetor I have a Mikuni BST40 in it, but I don’t know what kind of nozzle is in it. 2. What do you need to re-suppress the exhaust? Where do you buy this at the best, and what can it cost? Would it be installed to attach the lid to the rear of the silencer? Just weld nuts or how do you do it at the sc 3. What about the legality ? Can I drive the part on the road ? If yes, I have to have it registered ? (I have to go back to the TÜV in the spring anyway) Thanks already for any answers ! Greetings

    Hello, as you have probably already noticed in the past or not, I have converted my KTM 600 to Supermoto with everything that belongs to it… So now the question arises, how do I get the things registered… There is no part report for my Kati, that means I get reports for the installed parts like rims original KTM, brake discs adapter HE, and original KTM brake discs but there is no report for the parts to a KTM 600 Bj. 92 Is there just one single acceptance at the RWTüv…? Or do the reports from the buildings parts… What experiences have you made…

  • Akrapovic very loud without DB Eather!

    Hello, have the Akrapovic Slip on it without DB Eather. Oh that’s hellish loud. I think the green-wise fraction will quickly pull me out of circulation. If the DB Eather is inside it also sounds somewhat kernely. But had the sport DB Eath from summer on it already? It should be a little louder than original but still in the frame… ..mainly you could with the DB Eather the full power from the exhaust hollow,other than with the original DB Eath He.   • KTM beginner? 2 clocks or 4 clocks ??? Which so I buy?

    Hy guys, Finally it’s time to buy me a KTM. Only which fits me. Will my first be, either 250ccm 2 clocks or 400ccm 4 clocks. What are the advantages of 2 or 4 clocks???? crossen 250ccm ??? and longer distances 400ccm ???( 20 – 50 km). Which should I buy??? MfG. Jan

  • SX 525 Engine causes problems, does not take full throttle!!!??

I tried to achieve some change via the mixing control screw but also without success. now I don’t know any more… just for info: piston cylinder was re-made 15 hours ago and recently I had a leaking clutch sensor cylinder. a few hours ago ne doma complete system came up, with which the engine also ran several hours without problems. as I said, the pro blem from one day to the other…

  • Clutch does not properly separate KTM LC4 620 sc

    hey people! was on the road yesterday with my motorcycle, then bisl into the area – everything worked great, today I wanted to drive a round one, and now the clutch is not separating properly… the terrain was not great, I drove only bisl over the meadow to what could it be? the clutch train I checked and the star screw from the lever I also re-set it now has about 7000 km down what oil is in it, let alone how much can I not say , – where do I fill this up?   • HELP!!! 525 SX Clutch oil disappeared and simultaneous ignition oscillations!?!?

    moin! I turned off my 525 sx bj. 05 yesterday in a good driving position and when I wanted to go off again today, a lot of me when I started to smoke blue (cob and cylinder before 15h new!). I thought of driving a piece and see if the smoke goes away. so I started and somehow had the feeling that my clutch comes funny and I lacked performance. then stopped after about 2 km to look after the smoke. the smoke was gone but giving gas in higher speeds was jetz t a stuttering of the engine there, so correct depressors. am then further and noticed that my clutch no longer separated and then the stutter then comes also when speeding up from a certain speed. with other words everything is ok in the lower speed range but if it goes higher, then the motor does not turn up and suspends. in order to get the clutch problem on the track I then looked into the clutch oil tank and that was empty, but nowhere to see an oil outlet. can this be seen on the normal clutch wear lie or is there somewhere in the engine what leaks??? since I had no suitable oil I could not test anything further. because of the stuttering I then checked air filters, candles, tank ventilation, petrol hose and valves and emptied the float chamber but did not help in stuttering. candle was by the way brown. can exist a connection between the missing oil and the badly running motor or are the two independent probl eme? if yes, what can be the cause of stuttering?
