  • Ktm Lc4 640 Sm

    Hello guys! Signed up to the forum to find out what you think of a KTM LC4 640 Supermoto?! She’s been my dream for about 5 years! So far I couldn’t fulfill him either. But now I’m thinking if I’m going to pick up the car for 2 years. If I get a car, it’ll take even longer until I own the KTM (although again 5 years! ) How do the KTM’S behave? How often does a thing like this have to be in the workshop? h not so the hobbyist. Would like to know, since I will drive a lot from spring on and that thing doesn’t always break somewhere. It’s a 1-cylinder! Would be happy if you could write me your tips, experiences! MfG Schullemann

  • KTM SX 250 SXS 4-stroke import

    Hello guys I have a question … I bought myself a KTM SX 250 SXS 4 stroke Built in 2001 it was imported from Great Britain and now I want to know if the spare parts from the German KTM market also fit ? And what do you think of the KTM like that ? I had not driven a Honda full cross for 5 years back then and now I thought a 4 timer is better and can do more … Drive but only as a hobby so no races.

  • 0-100 / vmax -> 640 mountain

    Hello ! so I have decided now to guide my further motorcycle future into other ways, i.e. I will not buy a KTM 450 EXC RACING with 18, but a Husaberg FS640E. since I now drive a lot on the road and if the terrain, then only light of course a supermoto is recommended. however, since I can not give my favorite brand KTM the title “manufacturer of the most beautiful sumos”, I have to think of a mountain here. which see how I find more sporty than di e mopeds from austria. I then fell into the eye of the HUSABERG FS640E and since the mountains can already come up with quite the same quality standard as the orange ones (they are even built at KTM), would the motorcycle exactly want me and correspond to my ideas. but now ask to my all decided, fairly unveulable: -Vmax of the 640er sumo-berg ? -0-100,how much sec. ? would I like more than just. • general questions 640er Adventure

    Hello forum, I’m interested in a KTM LC4 640 Adventure. I’m particularly interested in the years 1999-2002, the variant I like the best and is also best there from the chassis data (50 tele fork 300mm travel front and 320mm travel rear). Or do I do the successor models wrong??? As far as I can see, the machine is up to the fairing, tank and cockpit identical with a normal 640 LC4, or ?? Now you can use a lot in the net via the Un Read the reliability of the KTM models, especially electrics and engine. Capital engine damage is often listed. Are these rather individual cases, which are often cited or unfortunately the rule. What mileage can one trust the engine?? Further lack should be the rough engine run and the vibrations. The single cylinder run a bit rougher is normal, KTM occupies a special position there??? How does the adventure or just the LC4 640 behave on longer fast stages??? That’s a lot Questions. I just have to get rid of them. So far I drive Cagiva Elephant, so I’m used to it grief. Until then Tobias

  • Is it possible to convert to an electric petrol tap with an LC4es?

    Question, is it possible….. Hi guys, since I have recently driven motorcycles that have had gasoline injection and thus had an electric gasoline tap, it is very hard for me to get used to opening or closing the bezinhahn every time. Is it possible or has someone experienced or even made a conversion to an electric bezinhahn with a LC4 …? In the bay there are them to buy e.g. from, for Peugeot scooter, he should then “normal ” or be with “low pressure” ? Connection via ignition plus…… now BLA BLA apart from whether the threads fit, would that be, well, for a very good “bastler” POSSIBLE????? I’m curious about EURE answers . MfG Christian

    Hello people, have searched everything here, but found nothing suitable !!!! Yesterday at my KTM 640 LC4, SM, year 5/2004 the rear was converted to LED, say new taillight and brake light LED together with mini turn signals LED. When assembled loosely (so only the wires twisted ) everything worked perfectly, light, sign light, brake light, turn signal………. ! After the oiled cable the BREMS LIGHT did NOT work any more. t, when pressing the lever or foot lever) current had ???? Now the blue cable TOT but for that ignition plus on the yellow-green ??????? Yes, fuses I have all looked through- all heal, in other reports I have read that in the lamp mask should still be 2 fuses…….are these with interlaced the compartment plugs (one just the other cross) …. they are also OK and have passed through after plus…. Have I KILLED any component by a short circuit ? Please fr Very much for help. MfG heinlein666

  • Lc4 sm with excel rim does not sit in the middle

    Hello guys, I bought myself a LC4 Bj 03 last week. The machine has excel rims on it – now I have noticed that the rim is not sitting in the middle of the swing (in my opinion it should be approx.1,2 cm to the right) And there is a 180 55 zr17 tire on it where the chain touches the tire. Now to the question: how can I center the rim? Do I need distance discs there? And can I pull a 160ger on it on the rim (J17M)? Greetings
