  • Compulsory snow chain for trucks

so just came in the news a contribution to the current weather/traffic situation and a related proposal from the political berlin. a few bureaucrats have expressed the proposal for a snow chain obligation at lkw. it was said in “special” situations, but the discussion seems already pre-programmed. one only remember the assembly time of the chains and the use of the mature and road, especially if there is no snow in pieces greetings

  • IMPLEMENTATION IN THE WINTER ON THE BAB OR OTHER ROADS

would like to know how you think about the many accidents on the Bab and roads in general or your suspicions of the causes of the accident in these weather conditions! too little distance (better 150m than 50m)! driving with tempomat? abrupt a steer in driven situations? wrong assessment of the weather (above all or trust in the technology ABS/ESP etc.)? the was still on the road with summer tyres (just a press hit and good for a headline)? etc. you can still Continue endlessly! also those who read the stupid, should be able to prevent an accident from occurring in this thread, we have brought a little stone into the roll, great is of course a domino effect! one is more like no one! lg nobscheb

  • Totally stupid question/way turbocharger

People I have a very stupid question. I have no idea about truck engines at all. One thing interests me. There are LWKs I can find Scania who have a FETTEN V8 This engine with several liters of engine capacity! Do they even have a turbocharger?? Actually, there are no more diesel vehicles without turbochargers but now I don’t know… If the truck has a 10liter large v8 engine it has enough steam even without turbo or?

  • Specifications semitrailers

Hello, I come from the warehouse / shipping corner and have a topic that I would like to address to you experts. In the future we will have more shunting activities of 40 feet sea container on semi-trailers. Now we need a tractor for this ranking. My question: Are the specifications (saddle plate, king pin, electricity, compressed air) the same for all tractors, respectively semi-trailers. Or else can I ask: Can I use EVERY tractor machine? e, EVERY semi-trailer move? Sorry if this is perhaps a diletan question, but I don’t know about this topic at all! I would be happy about numerous answers!

  • HU/SP from trailer expired up to one year

Hello together, I hope someone can help me here. I work in a freight forwarder and we have customers where our trailers stand for some months. There are even customers where a trailer stands for up to a year. Since it happens that the HU/SP has expired before we pick it up again. We have a list of DEKRA locations near the customers so that they can be immediately taken to the inspection center. We have heard of the commercial trailer on the direct way to I can only find things about cars and their trailers. Or does anyone know a way to bring the trailer legally to the next test facility? I really hope someone has an idea and can help me. LG is able to get to a test center if they have expired up to a year. LG has a set text or something for me, or a place where I can find it?

  • Atego 1 ’04 tooth flanks game rear axle set..

Hi together. I lay the days under the lkw and notice that the rear axle has a quite large tooth flank game. Now the question: The truck has run about 300,000, can you then do something else or leave it better so until it gives up the mind? Because I have the fear that the plate and bevel wheel have entered this game and if I now recreate that then surfaces come into contact that have not yet entered.. Or do I now have a thinking error? Would like to know how you feel about it. Lg Christian

  • May I drive tractors class L private !?

Hello,it is about a tractor, but for the sake of driver’s license I think that the truckers here have more idea of what to drive and what not. There is the driver’s license B, which also includes class L for tractors and up to 32 km/h and trailers up to 25 km/h. So far so good,if you can drive, but there is something about forestry and agricultural purposes and construction reasons. Does that mean you can only drive this team if you work in an agricultural business ? U nd how is the private ? Because you will also move an old tractor up to 32 km/h or ? Possibly with trailer ? So I don’t go through there anymore, hope it can help someone with information.

  • Fuel consumption at 15 tonnes

Hey… hope someone can help me… I’m looking for fuel consumption data from certain trucks. The manufacturers are very covered. I already know that the consumption is very dependent on the vehicle (un/loaded, driving mode, etc.), but there must be average or minimal/maximum consumption data. Work in a construction company and we are currently catching up with various offers. The vehicle itself is a truck with a loading crane behind the cab . MB Atego 177PS MAN TGM 240PS DAF LF Series 220PS Iveco Eurocargo 182PS Renault Midlum 220PS Nissan Atleon 251PS Volvo FLL 256PS Would be cool if someone here knew some data. MfG Johnny

  • Is this a hitchhiker?

on Wednesday I delivered a customer! while driving into the yard I bagged in the front right and only thought to myself, what was that then? I got out, opened the loading board and I realized why I was bagged in the front right! I drove over a channel cover, which obviously did not hold out the load of my truck! however, I assumed that the channel cover had already been broken before, so after finishing my loading activity continued! on Thursday I had to off schedule to the same customer again! he then pointed me to the broken channel cover! he would send the fa. a bill! my boss and I, however, are of one opinion: a channel cover as it finds use to thousands in Europe must withstand such a load! the customer will not get a cent! my consideration is now whether I have now made the driver flight punishable! how described I assumed that the channel cover was already broken! after all, a channel lid can’t just crash in!
