  • Austria – ASFINAG Pay without debt ?

Hello, I was pulled out by ASFINAG on Monday evening in Austria. Was on the way with an Actros 4 from Charterway. With my GO BOX everything was okay. However, this Charterway Actros was also in Austria in December, but he was rented by another company (of which I don’t know of course) This company did not submit certain documents to ASFINAG, if I understood that correctly…. Makes 2 x 110 € penalty, which I should pay, although I ga After a little discussion and phone calls, my ID was copied and I was allowed to go on. Austria is now getting the money from Charterway or then from the company that made the mistake in December. What do you think? Do I have anything to worry about? 220 € for something I can’t do anything for is fierce. That all this is ridiculous and only the harassment of transit traffic serves is certainly clear to everyone……

  • Which truck tires for hobby drivers?

Hello, we have in the company an Iveco MP190 tipper, the car also has a Hiab 195-4 with Jib, which is actually interesting for us. So mostly the vehicle is used as a crane truck i.e. it was only moved around 6000KM, the rest is crane hours and standstill. Now it is so that he drives mainly in local transport as well as sometimes an hour highway. Now he has installed on the front axle Matador 315 80 22.5 M tyres this but A slowly go to the end and B has a At the flank a small crack (looks like scratched with cutter knife) However, you still have 3mm profile (don’t know if they are still good or not). But I intend to buy new ones in the next weeks but absolutely baffled what I should buy, the question arises to me whether at the low mileage/year a retreaded go????? Steering axle? And it should of course be all weather! Who can give me reasonable advice ?

  • VW LT Built 93 Conversion to 3.5L BMW engine

Hello, I own an lt bj.93. I had a crankshaft damage to my 2.4l vacuum cleaner last week. since the 2.4L anyway annoys lack of power of 75 ps I have come to the consideration to install a motor of the 535i or 735i, because from vw apart from the 2.4L turbo diesel there is no other reasonable row-sech cylinder. I don’t want a vr in this vehicle. can someone give me pre tips for conversion or point me to driving. mfg Patrick

  • How to insure a pickup humane?

Hello, the following problem: In the family a pickup is to be purchased soon, for gardening, wood-making and perhaps on an adventure vacation. In any case, the vehicle will not see more than 58,000km in the year and will not be used commercially, just as a recreational vehicle. However, since the device is now taxed as a truck and is registered as such, it must also be insured as such. (Vehicle selection will be either an older Toyota J7, i.e. HZJ 75-79 or be a Defender 110, so one way or another around the 130hp and probably downloaded to such 700Kg payload) Now we would like to get away as cheaply as possible for such a second vehicle, unfortunately our previous home insurance, the Huk, the car with Sprintern&Co into a class and then came out with the computer about 170€ annual cost! The spiders nevertheless! Normally with our prerequisites would be normal off-road cars so at 500€! e look more closely? Or just distinguishes between trucks that are used like this and those that are used like a car? You save a little bit of the wheel, abe that I do not have to throw the huk in the throat. Greetings
