Hello, I have a Kögel truck Deichsel trailer (BJ 2003) with air suspension and EBS system from Wabco. The trailer is now used as a transport vehicle for silage bales on a farm. It is pulled with a tractor (2-circuit compressed air system). On the ABS plug are on PIN 1-4 24v DC. These are generated by a 150 watt voltage converter which is connected to 12V continuous plus to the tractor. Thus the EBS system has current. PIN 5-7 are not used on the plug. Unfortunately, the trailer always brakes relatively strongly. Although not as strong as if there is no current on the plug, however still strong. This makes itself noticeable on the road that comes to a stop immediately when the trailer brakes firmly. On loose ground like field roads or in the field the wheels block even with solid brakes. Is it possible to adjust the EBS system softer?? MfG

Abolition of the short-term mark in its present form
The Federal Government wants to please us with the abolition of the free use of short-term registration marks. In the future you can only get a short-term registration mark for vehicles with TÜV and AU. The data of the vehicle are entered firmly by the registration office. So you can no longer drive on auctions and then enter the data of the increased vehicle. Also a vehicle from the Bundeswehr died then! Here the text of the petition: The planned “Second Regulation to change the vehicle registration regulation and other road traffic regulations” should be changed as follows: As so far as can be moved also vehicles without TÜV and AU. Reason: The technical cultural goods of the oldtimer vehicles are thereby massively threatened. Private purchases and sales of vehicles with expired or foreign TÜV are voted by almost impermanent. Workshops can not be carried out so extensively and time-intensive as can be moved here by low-loader. Here HU will not be able to vote for the new registration number.

Enough turning surface for trucks (40t)
Hello guys, I would need your help, because I have little idea about truck and their space requirements. Specifically, it is about building a new building that will reduce the previous delivery area a little bit. Do you think it is possible for the attached plan to reach the red marked delivery areas with different truck types and also to leave fully loaded again (so forward in – backwards out)? The red arrows represent the possible exits or access roads. I have inserted the approximate lengths. The blue rectangles should represent the new building – the closer you could slide it up, the better it would be, as the slope falls steeply below. Question about driver card (exchange)
Hello, because I have received a new driver’s license (registration code95) the driver’s license number entered on the driver’s card no longer agrees. This leads to problems in France (costs about €350 penalty). The BAG therefore recommends to get a new driver’s card. So far, so good. Only the road traffic office, which I pick up the old card when applying for the new driver’s card. Because the new driver’s card is valid from now on and I could otherwise drive with both driver’s cards. My old card is still valid until October 2016. Can I now drive for the period until I get my new card without driver’s card? And then make a printout every day and label it with name and driver’s license number? This is also allowed in case of loss/theft. And is there something like an express procedure when applying? Thank you Christian

Replacement of DC-lighting machine
HI! I bought an old tractor, which I will now renovate for the next harvest change. Now I’m just in the electric. Is anyway much above but always when the tractor is empty the light is a little dark, only when I give again some gas the light will be brighter again. (Just lying on the DC light machine) Will not suffocate during the move with the exhaust gases, therefore I would like to build a three-phase light machine (which does not have this characteristic). TGA – the never ending story
MAN ? Never again with me…. I make three crosses if I can change the TGAs against other manufacturers. Constant workshop stays due to electronic problems do not make the disposing easier. However, the coronation for me was the following case: On 02.11. the driver drives to the MAN workshop because of noises (the driver is a car master and suspected the cause of the viscofan). The workshop changes the V-belt, which drives the fan (719723 KM) . On 06.11 remains another driver with the vehicle in Münster are on the motorway. (719904 KM) What was broken? Fan clutch on the viscofan ! What was changed? Fan clutch, control unit FFR3 Total damage for me : 1980,13 Euro and 2 days failure!!! I purchased this year 4 DAF XF 95. Last year it was also 4 DAF. Except the usual maintenance was not necessary for any workshop stay. Eletronic problems like with MAN are unknown at DAF.
