So – what do you mean? – is the profession stressful or rather not? -is it really just sitting in the truck and showering through the area? -How expensive is driving licence and what do I need? -What does the most money bring? MAN TGA – Servo Shift: Switching error in the power supply group
Hello first of all Have a technical question about a problem that occurred in my company. And that is that the vehicle is a TGA with Comfort Shift, 4 gear servo shift transmission. The defect was first only noticeable by a “jumping out” of the gears in the rear gear group, i.e. 5-8. At first only sporadically, it became worse the next day. The gears 5-8 could almost not be switched at all, 1-4 worked perfectly. The breakdown came soon after. N A few meters of drive and after reaching the 5th gear, the vehicle automatically disconnected the connection to the transmission. In the display it showed illogical gear indicators – from the 7th to the return gear. The system coupled automatically again, which became noticeable with an extreme switching error (very violent noise). Since then it is almost impossible to drive in the rear gear group. The gears can only be properly inserted with good luck. The truck is in use in urban traffic. – only for information. Error codes were read out with MAN-Cats II – no results were performed actuator diagnostics of all solenoid valves – all functional Comfort Shift operation also Does anyone know a solution to this problem ?

Hello people I work in a freight forwarding company with 40 tonns (so it is also in the registration), now stickers with „maximum 25.000kg payload” were installed everywhere, the vehicles weigh fully fuelled but maximum 14.300 kg (so I can charge 25.700kg). This is mainly for the shippers… Now I had loaded: gross: 39.800 kg Empty: 13.600 kg Net: 26.200 kg Now I was stopped by the BAG and they said: overload 1.2 ton… Because the sticker is binding, no matter what in And if so, what law does that say? Hi, everybody, I have the more common problem that my driver card is only recognized once in a while. EC recording equipment of private lorries
Hello, we are a motorsport team and would like to buy a new service truck. It is to be a 4.49 tonner which should pull our 10500 kg trailer. Euro 5 is mandatory. We know that we need a digital tachograph, these vehicles are usually already equipped like this. Over 7.5 t GzG we would have to use it too and as far as I have found out also the steering and break times. So far this is not a problem. Trailers and vehicle are privately registered. The driver is not a professional driver and will use your driver card exclusively for this purpose, the transport of our racing vehicle. Now we need a business card. We are not a company. In the year we drive max. on 4-5 weekends, the rest is the vehicle. In winter it is sunk over the season mark, battery jammed and wintered. The company is supposed to be every 28 days e read out the driver cards, but we are not a company and do not drive for months. The company has to read out the recording equipment and pick up data etc. We are not a company !!!! We have to keep steering and break times, that is OK for safety reasons. But we are in no competition with other companies, driving the truck is also not our work. How should we keep working hours ? Maybe someone can inform me what we have to do about not our And one more question. On the driver card the activities are stored at least 28 days, in the recording device at least 365 days. In our activities this would mean that the data will only be overwritten after approx. 25 years. How long retroactively can one actually be charged for an offense that is detected during the reading. Where to install compressed air coupling on the truck
Moin! I have a MB 814 LK Bj. 92 without connections for a trailer brake. I would like to install a compressed air coupling for the connection of e.g. a compressed air screwdriver or an exhaust gun. As far as I know, I have to go there to the 4th circle. But where? From the four-circuit protection valve a line goes for each circle to one of the two air boilers. So each two circles share a boiler, right? Can I now simply reach the line between the four-circuit protection valve and the K There are always two circles hanging over the boiler, if I understand that correctly. Mercedes 814 LN Bj 1992 ASR system

Hello… I’m realtively new here. So I hope that you can write a topic here!!! Meaning that I’m right here in this forum and I shouldn’t have put it in somewhere else… Syr is a Newbee =) So I’ve been hopping over the big pond in about 2-3 years to Canada to work there as a truck driver… I’ve been going through this step intensively of course… I’ve already collected a lot of information to get there not in avoidable places. My question to you is: Has anyone already gained experience over there or has it to dare before the step???
