  • Requirements for road transport disc material (macrolon/polycarbonate)

Hello! Does anyone here perhaps know if there are certain legal guidelines for the use of materials as discs (in my case side panes of a commercial vehicle made of macrolon/polycarbonate or Plexiglas)? I have only found this up to now: B. Vehicles III. Construction and operating regulations §40 Disc wipers, windscreen wipers, defrosting and drying systems for discs (1) All panes – except mirrors and covers of lighting equipment The safety glass must be a glass or a glass-like material whose fragments cannot cause serious injury. Safety glass panes, which are important for the driver’s vision, must be clear, translucent and distortion-free. Are there any requirements because of the size of the side panes?

  • Mercedes engine 445.924 no power

Good day dear colleagues, maybe someone else has an idea, or has already gone like this before. So the case: We did a nice old-fashioned compression test on the engine above. All cylinders at 27 bar. Everything nicely assembled again, test drive, without trailer in order. semitrailers saddled up… and no power. (trailer empty) truck comes very slowly to 70 km/h. Before that everything was ok. Fuel filter and prefilter changed. Turbocharger makes pressure. Fuel line placed directly to the pump – no improvement. Fzg is a 1424LS Built. 95

  • How much calm current on the fire truck?

Hello NFZ electrical specialists !! Can anyone tell me how much rest current is in about normal/plausible on a fire brigade fire engine? In our case 10 charging brackets (radio and lamps) and a charger for the battery are responsible for the removable load syringe. The rest current measured by me is between 2.5-3 amps. In addition, a battery monitor is installed, which has been set to 24V from factory and then the chargers should be separated from the batteries. (new) Starter batteries are not good if I turn it up to 24,5 V? Only in case one of us forgets to put the charging cable back on again. Did because of a defective LiMa controller and shortly afterwards defective batteries now several times start problems. I look forward to your tips or opinions! Greeting fantadriver

  • Motorcycle on a “to” small box trailer

Moin, I am currently looking for a trailer (braked/1000-1300Kg). It should be both a “normal” means of transport for the hardware store etc. and it should be possible to transport a motorcycle. My motorcycle is 2,10m long, in principle there would be a box trailer of various manufacturers with a loading area of ~2,50. However, the trailer is already a bit too big for the “daily” use. I have a smaller trailer in my eye (2,03m) where you can see the the rear and rear side of the board can open and remove. Accordingly, the motorcycle is over. Perhaps only in front to reach the support load or but also in front and back. But how does this work now from the legal side? May I drive without board walls, or can the load in front and back survive or do I have to mark it already at 5-10cm? The question also refers to “European law” as I probably measure the trailer with motorcycle towards the south (France/Switzerland/Spain/It alien). Thank you for your information. Greeting from the Saarland

  • used truck bought with allegedly TÜV 🙁

Hello together, I’ve probably seen you in another thread already bought a tow truck from MAN! According to the salesman, in November 2011 the truck should have officially got a Tüv without a mouse. At the first test drive everything seemed ok to us, when we have been driving more and more often with it more and more strange! what was first checked on many of the tachographs the last time in 1999, doesn’t it always have to be tested for Tüv? he draws even if I drive 80km/h around the 100km/h on funny. Then the brake at the front started to scramble extremely so that you thought that you are on a vibrating plate and at the rear brake is the cylinder leaking and the whole mature and rim full of brake fluid. Now the truck is in a workshop that knows itself well with trucks and does not hit me over the ear. Then it turned out that the whole front axle has to be rebooked and everything is really sucked out! as well as on the rear axle 2 leaf springs are broken. exhaust leaks and relatively loose hydraulic cylinders from the plate leaks etc. and at the au exhaust it has an empty speed of 890 and maximum of 4700 that can not be either…. what else is everything coming tomorrow. So the truck can never have got Tüv in Nov2011 or?

  • Call for help from the Cape Verde Islands

Hello to Germany, I was born in Austria, I also lived in Berlin for a long time, but since 1982 live on the Cape Verde Islands, more precisely in the district of Paul on the island of Sto. Antao. Our district administration has a Mitsubishi Canter Fuso as a garbage car, but the thing never worked properly: drives a track and then the engine stops. After a while you can start it again, after a short distance it stands again. Now here are many mechanics dara The mechanics have no theoretical background, everything goes after “try and error”. My question: where can you get a workshop book for the vehicle? – or at least the fuel supply, because that seems to be it. Then I could try to get the original condition and then look for the error. Thank you very much for the help and many greetings from the green and sunny island alfred

  • Delivery / Assembly of garden houses – Digital speedometer over 3.5 to?

Hello! We are currently selling our garden houses only from stock, on pickup. But now thanks to Aunt Google more and more inquiries are coming which are currently up to 350 km far away (e.g. Freiburg or Odenwald). We are in Munich. But also the first inquiries and first orders from Switzerland and Austria come. All these orders are assembly orders. Only we would not deliver so far, this can certainly be easier and cheaper for a forwarding company. If I now calculate: Roterschemel trailer max. 3 to. – Empty weight 770 kg (available) Our load – max. 2 to. car (on-site car?) e.g. VW Touareg (approx. 2103–2315 kg) – Towing load 3 to. makes together about 5085 kg So clearly above the 3.5 to. How can I get this together at the most cost-effectively? What does a “digital speedometer” cost into a used vehicle? Are there monthly costs? What do I do with normal trips – without trailer to the customer? Can I use the car at all still privately or is it just my “delivery car”? What about “works traffic”? I am building up myself. Or is that already commercial freight traffic? Do I have to take care of the German toll system? Questions about questions – I hope you can help me a little bit. I have read a lot here already, the confusion has not become smaller…… Thanks already AFlurry

  • How to disassemble the mouth clutch?

Hi guys, the problems never go out^^ Currently I try to get the fragment of an old ring spring-muzzle from the traverse. But it’s not possible….. the crown nut on the back is of course already down and the discs from the back too. But the cone just can’t be hit out of the flange. I already hit around from all sides of the clutch with the thick bello. With a long tube the clutch can be tuggily turned round. Trick? I already got a used clutch, but the Ebay seller had not told me that the clutch pin is slightly crooked. Does that do something? Also with regard to TÜV? See pictures…. Thank you for your answers!
