I’m still completely inexperienced in terms of trucks and hope you can help me: 1. Starter problem The starter engine sounds like it’s turning, but rather creaking – the engine itself doesn’t turn. After some start-up attempts everything sounds “normal” and the engine is there immediately. I changed the magnetic switch (a cheap product) – but it didn’t work. 2. Motor brake I assume that the switch to turn off the engine while driving as motor brake fungie Rt. If I press it, the engine no longer delivers power and smokes black out of the exhaust. Put it off and restart (with the above problem) so far (twice tried) remedy. 3. Part without function On the right side of the engine (gear side) a 20 cm long and approx. 4 cm wide round part perpendicular to the engine is attached. At the top a thin hose can probably be flanged – here the opening is open. An appropriate plastic hose hangs loosely in the vicinity. Um – but its opening is mechanically closed. Does all this mean?? Maybe you can help me. P.S: Is there a workshop manual somewhere?? The operating instructions are a bit poor. Thanks in advance Matthias

What does a bus use city center at 100 km?
Average city with 100-200000 inhabitants used during the day in the city area without continuous permanent bus lanes e.g. in cities such as Essen, Heidelberg, Bremen or Nuremberg? with 0.3 liters per passenger etc. I can do nothing… best would be an answer directly from a bus driver… The only number I have found so far was with MAN there was something from 60 liters to 100 km and that was then already such a brand new space floor with hybrid technology… That would then, however, b and how big are the tanks at the things? cool would of course be comparison numbers of “Normalbus” and “Ziehamonika” now I’m curious if there is someone here who knows something like that… Would I be happy P.S. (no I don’t want to tap a city bus, had to leave my apparently too slow driving anyway and don’t want to have it again)

Operation of truck toll bridges
Hello, can someone please tell me about the operation of the truck toll bridges? Is every vehicle recorded at these stations and how does the system know if the vehicle is tolled? For me it looks as if the vehicles are photographed. One often hears of tollprellers, how is that possible? Will I not necessarily be caught as tollpreller at the station when I have not paid tolls? And another question to the end, how does the OBU work? Do I need no toll here? book more so the system chooses itself when driving the AB? Thank you for your comments.

Working time Family member
I have a new family member to whom I am somewhat skeptical about. I see his working time particularly critical. He leaves the house at about 06:00 and then drives 30 minutes to the forwarding company. In the evening he usually comes home at 19:00. Sometimes already at 17:00. Reason for the big time differences is that he always gets his tours called in the morning and then he doesn’t know how long he is on the road. I can’t really imagine that. The 9 hours of work/driving time is full on the day. Of course, it can also be covered but not constantly. So let’s say it starts at 06:30 with the work. Then it drives a total of 9 hours plus an hour break. So purely mathematically it is then at 16:30 hours off at the yard of the forwarding company. How do you see this? Is something being done here?

Vario 814D charging pressure sensor
Good evening, dear forum, We suspect that the charging pressure sensor, on the Vario 814 D with 100kw, my cousin spins. Sporadic power loss and nobody gets what it is. In the meantime, it is more the rule that it has no power. The charging pressure sensor has the following number: A003 153 76 28 and costs about 550€ here and is no longer available. The manufacturer is probably Denso with the number 49000 – 4110. Is there the possibility to switch to the 3 pole charging pressure sensor from Bosch? D iter costs only 80€ and was also installed in the Vario 814 D newer year of construction, if that’s true, what the young gentleman at the part counter told. What do you think? Lg Zvoni

“Normal” semitrailers on four-wheel SZM
Hello, I’ve seen a MAN TGX tractor more often lately. The tractor is a 4×4 (you can see that the all-wheel trucks are all much higher hung than a normal 4×2) This MAN TGX has a push-bottom trailer on it. It has a normal tire. This means that the trailer is totally “scattered” on the tractor. A very strong slope from the front to the rear. I would like to compare this with how a normal tractor is equipped with I think that’s the same thing. Is that so okay to drive through the area (in the case of the thruster floor) or how does that work? Hope that the problem is understood. Did I scratch something quickly in the paint to better represent the problem…

Problems with parking in front of the door
Hello, all together….My brother and I are independent (movement companies).Now we have a mercedes benz atego 815(7,49 Tonner).This is regularly at my door, here it is a side road where 30kmh are allowed.I have the lkw always standing opposite my residence,so that I do not disturb any residents(if I would put the lkw in front of the window).Now there is a park strip,this I use of course also,because otherwise no larger vehicle will be allowed to use. According to internet research, I should park there,have already had our villagecherrif here,he sees there also no problem. Now I get the 15.06.09 almost every day to the house, which the truck would stand against the ban on the walkway ( §12Abs.4,§49STVO;§24STVG;52BAat ).Nowhere on this road is this blue sign (where a white vehicle is on the park strip) to see.After that, cars/trucks can park up to 7,49t on a fortified park strip. Abe r unfortunately is the order office of other opinion and wants to have the money, per knölchen 15euro.
