Hello guys, we are a construction company in the surrounding Berlin, and with us is the purchase of a new truck, 3 axle tipper 6×6 with rear loader crane incl. tandem trailer. Now the driver wants an Actros with 480 hp. The fleet manager and my littleness (workshop manager) would prefer a TGA from an emotional point of view but does nothing to the matter. Now our dispo, which has to deal with the purchase, has determined, the MAN up to E4 without urea, and DC offers equal to E5, because it for In Berlin there should be 2 gas stations where you can get AdBlue by the end of the year. ( Very plentiful ) What experiences do you have with AdBlue in local or construction site traffic, if there is such a thing, do you have your own AdBlue tanks on the farm?? Is this really worth it in construction site traffic? A new law also says that from 2009 E4 and E5 are equal to the toll discount. Thank you for your opinions vg

Tyre damage in public transport
Hello, now it’s also time for public transport. Many buses have bad tires with bursts, cracks etc on the rear wheels. Each truck is checked on it and forced to change tyres if necessary. What happens to the buses in public transport? No one cares about anything. I showed a rough case to a policeman. He pulled the thing SOFORT out of the traffic. Here the complete side wall of the mature had dissolved, which could recognize itself a child. I have the fear that public transport buses do not always meet the requirements for security of persons.

Bridging limiter for MAN TGA xxl
Hello friends, I drive a MAN TGA xxl in England traffic. In England trucks can be fast 95 km/h, even 100km/h. My MAN drives only 88 km/h and I find no one to make it faster for me. Who can give me tips?

MAN TGA 18,440,How much engine oil when changing oil?
So tomorrow I want to change the engine oil and filter at our D26 440hp. How much engine oil should be filled in so that the display does not continuously show too much broth? And if I still change the diesel filter, should I then use the hand pump 100 times pumps like it should be normal with Actros? I’m too lazy to look into the manual. If relevant is Bj 2005, has still Pritarder and HydroDrive. Thanks in advance!

Renault Magnum
Meal I drive mainly Italian traffic with a small cooling truck, at the moment nen Actros Mp2 with 510 hp. Since our boss drives himself and knows what the driver needs he leaves us relatively free hand with new purchases. As for mototran and equipment and lamp hangers or exhausts and all the stuff. I am soon again and thought about the Magnum. Although I am super satisfied with my Daimler, since we stay away a lot over the weekends, I thought about the rolling e Living room of Renault. I used to drive the Premium with 450 Ps at a different place and he went to work well (Volvo Motor).I would get the 500 in the case of the Magnum and possibly a chip. Drives here by chance a nen Magnum and can say what it is good for. I have already driven almost everything, except the Magnum. I looked at it today on the Internet and spontaneously fell in love. I am grateful for every tip. Keep the bumper clean and come home well!

Chance as a cross-country entrant?
Hello, I have a question, which burns me quite under the nails. Since I am most probably unemployed from 01.07. (time contract with my teaching company expires) I do besides my work as a sewage guard “specialist for wastewater technology” the truck driver’s license (C/CE) as well as the ADR-schein – piece goods and tank (I have already occupied course). For me without driving experience and without professional driver qualification at all chances somewhere a semi reasonable driver’s jo Is it hard to imagine that a renowned company has entrusted me with a 40-to-thirty saddle or limb train and sent me across Europe! Please look forward to your opinions and experience. Greetings from the Oberharz.

Sick
Hey guys, I think I’m sick… Work in a camp looking at the highway, get a tingling when I hear a truck and drive around for hours meaninglessly. Go on rest stops awe-inspiringly past the colosses of the long-distance drivers and look up at every truck I’m overtaking in the cabin. My pulse beats higher when I’m standing with my motorcycle in front of a 40-tonner at the intersection or when a great illuminated brummi comes towards me at night… And in every free minute look ic h out of the window on the highway and want to drive… …but I only have the car and moped driver’s license… Is there a doctor who can explain to me what I suffer? /chatlo, the plagued

Why to the vulture are truck engines simply fed into buses??
I have to get upset, I’m a bus car driver and every time you want to do something on the engine you never get there, because they just take the trucks engines and “implant” them in the buses. There’s always a pulley turned off so that the engine fits in or you have to flex frame parts out so you get the engine out.. Cost savings back or forth, what do you think about it?

Truck overtakes truck
Hello, just seen again today: An Actros 1840 – Saddle train wants to overtake a TGA 18.360 change bridge. I let the Actros shave out, but the highway rises slightly, the Actros starves – despite a good excess speed during the start of the overtaking process – and slips back behind the MAN. The whole took about a three-quarter minute… I have been able to observe something like this more often. Why does the one who is overtaken not go short of the gas and let the overtaking rush in? The only rhyme that I can do is that one should not go uphill with a truck really off the gas, because otherwise one dies on the slope…. Or why do many so “egoistic” drive? Greeting Andreas
