Who can help me here,have this trailer,which used to be a truck for a good 15 years,now I played with the idea to install a brake and had to notice that in the brake drum no brake shaft goes but only right and left each one a line, so I guess that vehicle had hydraulic brakes,how did the hand brake work?There is nothing else in the drum!I post a few pictures,somebody has an idea! W” yes shock absorber can have done only something small in the range up to max 7.5t?!

Deficiencies in the vehicle
At VOX they brought a topic which had surprised me. They had the police dressed the trucks searched for faults. One case was an Actros with Multenkipperauflieger (I believe). Defects: Danger and defective tires of the trailer had frame cracks SP had expired brake effect uneven and so on Now my question. Why do entrepreneurs drive around with such trains when they are too geizonous or broke? Why are there drivers who control such scraps? Must one be unemployed if such jobs would be such I’d rather stay more job-seekers than drive a train like that. What’s your opinion and experience?

urgent question about truck purchase
I hope someone can help me quickly. I would like to buy a truck for our driving school. I received a good offer from Iveco. I now have the choice between leases and finance. I am a friend of finance and I assumed that I will get an invoice via the truck, get the VAT from the tax office and get my deposit from it. I even wanted to put something on it. Now the nice bank manager of Iveco told me yes when financing get it no complete the invoice of the truck and they can’t get the VAT back. Now I’m a bit baffled. Know this only as described above from my previous shops. Has someone tips info or advice for me ….. Thank you

External air connection MB 814
Hello! is there a normal chassis MB 814 (fire-weir vehicle) at the front where there is a external air connection at the front left! e.g. to tow! we need it to constantly fill the vehicle! or is there only one connection at the rear of the air dryer?

Why does the driving personnel regulation have to be regulated at all? The prohibition to spend 45 h week rest in the truck is valid for a long time only has hardly anyone interested so far so except for a Belgian pol The driver is forced to live in the truck for weeks. However, if one looks at the earning opportunities of many drivers from Eastern Europe, they can earn a multiple higher income than at work in their home country. These drivers have chosen these conditions extra to achieve a really good income. Let’s be surprised which loopholes will open up in the future. ? I wish all my colleagues a good trip at all times! Can you always drive in manual mode with automatic?
For example, if you are driving a Scania or Volvo, you can’t always drive in manual mode, i.e. switch up and down over the retarder lever, what if you have to stop, is this a problem if you are driving for example in 7 gears and then stop at a red traffic light and after that stop first switch down into 2 gears. Or would it be better to quickly switch to automatic in such situations?

814 coupling
hello wanted to change the clutch a few days ago, so gear out,backrest clipped,pressure plate out and pulley off so then the co-driver slide seemed funny to me because there was a piece of iron/steel missing from scratch then new clutch and etc. built-in wanted to start motor then short crashing noise, tried again and again to start but didn’t go, then gears made everything off again and found that swing wheel stuck and now determined the intersection n swing wheel and behind the cover a iron/steel piece had jammed.now my question how do I get the cover behind the swing wheel? this is a MB 814 bj1993(older model) and in this cladding also depends on the clutch sensor cylinder (only as a hint) thank you in advance for helpful answers. gearbox picture attached (as stop point)

Hello, who can help me with my M25 multicar?! I have restored one and have registered it now also endlcih but I still have a problem there. the engine is getting too hot again and again. So that he pushes the water out of the pressure compensation tank out. I have already pierced the water channel 20 times but somehow it gets hot again and again. If I drive up to approx. 30km/h it keeps the temperature but as soon as I drive 40-50km/h it does not make the cool anymore!!!! So I please you to help all of me. Already in advance THANK YOU!!!! Always trouble in Switzerland
Hello! I started Jannuar from Lustenau direction San Bernardino to Italy! In Chur was red due to heavy snowfall for truck phase (all trucks have to wait until the road direction San Bernardino is cleared) After 3 hours it went on again, and at Thusis is a gas station which I have driven because I urgently had to go to the toilet! I drove out of the tank into the roundabout, and I idiot took the second exit from the roundabout and not the first After 50m came a ban child for truck and then it went up mighty mountain (the road was snow-covered) So I flashed at the prohibition sign on the right, stopped, looked into the mirror and turned upside down (in a train, road very wide and left and right emergency bays) that was the biggest mistake of the day!!!! I did not hinder anyone, because there was no person on the road except the two policemen who came to me and watched my action from afar! The two have turned on their blue light, before They asked me if I knew what I was doing wrong!? Did I tell you, I had to turn around because it had not gone any further straight away! I crossed the crossed line, which was not visibly hidden under the snow I asked the two what else I should have done, because the 50m backwards to the roundabout would not have been allowed and the drawn line I could be because of the snow I got no answer! If I want to continue driving, then I have to leave 400€ security here as a foreigner, otherwise my truck will be shut down! Yesterday I get mail from Switzerland, and I should pay 430€ again(processing fees, police costs and bla bla bla) I ask myself seriously, if the in Switzerland still properly rooms???????? The wool I’m fined 830€, for a lapalia that almost every one of us has done before! If one of us pushes an old grandma on the zebra strip with 1.6 promille over the pile, then it can’t be much more expensive!! I can also go to jail for 8 days if I don’t want to pay!!
