Moin, I have a legal question: I want to move an old car L312 (eternally shut down, no papers) about 500km across Germany. The cheapest way would be to drag it with a tow bar. Towing vehicle would be a round hood Mercedes. The driver in front would have all driving licence classes. What is the legal situation? Have read what “only with official approval” ??? VG Mattze

Renewing truck assembly crane or not?
Hello, I have a question for the experts among you. We have a mounting crane in operation with us. Built on an Actros. This is a mounting crane, as the roofers or carpenters use it. The crane is now 9 years old, runs so far top. It is also maintained and regularly maintained. The real problem is that by now once a year the crane has to go to the workshop to carry out repairs. the crane broke in some places. Recently we only had the problem, which is a bit broken off. That was a bigger and more expensive repair. The workshop master of the factory said that the crane was too small for us, that is, he always works at the limit. Now the days were already there, who took care of the matter and selected a corresponding crane for our work. A first offer is available. For our old one there is still half money, a new incl. truck costs Now the question, in a new investment that is more durable, or the old one continue driving, regularly waiting and repairing?

Which of you drives (or drove) an IVECO Turbostar???
Greetings… JAJA I know it’s a long time ago!!! My father drove a turbostar at that time (190-32) He was a total wreck… But I liked him, at that time I liked the intake noise of the turbo so much (I was 12 then)! And this eternal undervalued by MAN drivers!!! He had only one plan construction and there were not overburdened the 320 hp (in contrast to MAN 8-163) !!! Unfortunately then there were so massive problems with the split gears.. nn came to a standstill and switched to idle was that! He didn’t take the clutch anymore. Unfortunately, his employer at the time was not in contact with it. So he said: The brakes were driven until metal rubs on metal. Service didn’t matter… As long as he is driving it already works!! Luckily, the truck was only on the way (distributor)… Could you tell me your opinion about the Turbostar? Maybe also problems??? Lg.

Truck accident cost take-over? Temporary work!!
Hello community, I drive through a temporary employment company at another company. I had an accident with another truck. Should the cost be about 10 000 euro. I was to blame. does anyone have any idea how it works with the insurance companies? The truck I drove and broken has been a rental truck. Normally the company must be so insured that such accidents are covered??

Actros 9 to front axle, steering wheel cylinder
Hello together! With our two 3355 AK with 9 to VA we have installed a steering hand cylinder. In fact a good thing, except for that, which thus the steering has almost no reserve. Especially with many curves (mountain roads, roundabouts) very unpleasant, extremely needing to get used to and when driving straight away very undefined in the middle position, thus a constant correction on the steering wheel. Almost everything has been changed on the part of the workshop, without effect. the last Euro 5 3355 ordered, in 6×4 axle configuration and experienced that now also these types are equipped with the unfortunate cylinder…. For the time being I immediately resigned from the purchase contract…. With our slightly older Actros (2005-2008) all with 9 to front axle this cylinder has not been installed yet. Does anyone here report similar, or even a remedy? Probably the 9 to axles in Germany are not necessarily the topic! Thank you very much!

Has any of you experience with Infinity truck tires
I’m thinking if I should buy Infinity tires. But the minimum sales volume is 12 tires, which also makes up a nice sum if the tires are worth nothing. I am particularly interested in the 315/80 R22.5 Infinity D925 (drive axle) and 315/80 R22.5 Infinity F865 (front axle). I would like to mention that we mainly drive construction site traffic and therefore often also expensive tires do not experience their optimal running performance at all. Nevertheless interested I would also be very grateful to you for information about good experiences with other “billi grip manufacturers”. MfG Roland

Examination before beginning CE driving licence
Moin moin, I’ve read so many different things on the net that I don’t know what’s right or not. I want to start with the driver’s license for CE and the accelerated quality driver. First I have to do this examination for FeV. I have no questions about the ophthalmologist’s search, so I just go to the eye patch and it’s good. Now to the other examination: 1. can I do this with my family doctor? 2. is there now blood taken or it stays with the urine test Sometimes one leaves yes, and on this form of the certificate there is also a point “blood”, 90% I read however that there is no blood loss. 3. For a long time I have high blood pressure, which is however by the intake of medications in the normal range. I got Hèrzultraschall made, at the heart is nothing. ECG had a small abnormality some time ago, however, one could not do anything further. By the Medis the blood pressure is kept normal. What effect does this have on blood pressure? Can I assume that I will “fall” by the examination and can forget about it with the driver’s license? I thank you for your advice.

Proof of other activities/holidays
Hey and a nice good evening, again a question that I did not get (completely) solved by the Sufu. So, I work on 400€ basis as a truck driver. That means I don’t drive regularly! So it can be that I only drive every 3 days. For the “holidays” I then need a proof. As far as understood. But is there perhaps a possibility for 400€ forces to facilitate all this? Because in extreme cases I have to get proven every 2nd day, what a huge a second question that follows: I have the opportunity to enter the company as a partner/partner (GmbH). Do I have to prove holiday days then? The reason for this is then (in my opinion) that I am my own “chef” then, so to speak. And they do not have to prove any holiday days. I just want to spare myself the effort of writing/printing the certificates. Thank you very much in advance Greetings Bleifuss

Lower your seat?
Hello dear community excuses the lay question. I drove a truck today and my colleague said I should lower my seat/air when getting out. He thinks I could get out better then etc, but I never lowered it so far and could always get out of the car well Now is my question, does it harm the seat if it is “up” and nobody sits on it? Thanks in advance, czissy
