  • Dealing with the driver card on holiday or illness

    Hello dear Brummifahrer, one question has occupied me for a while and everyone tells me something else, it’s folgnis, I work as a forwarding driver for a furniture company in Berlin, we are always two on the truck (7.5 tonner) and we both put our driver card in the digital control unit, driver in the plug 1, passenger in the plug 2 of the control unit (we always alternate weekly). The big question is what if one of us or the passenger does not participate with it i st on the truck (e.g. sick or on vacation) and I am alone on the way can still keep his card in plug 2 and thus writekramm to bypass like proof of activity or holiday certificate etc.. until he comes back or is it wrong and must be taken out his card so long until he is in the start again.     Good evening, I’m looking for a bigger van for my bakery store that replaces my current caddy. The most sensible thing to me is a H2L1 transporter, but I’m not sure of which manufacturer… everywhere you hear other things, first thought of a Fiat Ducato or Iveco Daily.     Hello dear MAN fan community, there is another new project on the agenda: the purchase of a truck (with push-button or car transporter). Now I have a MAN TGA 18.310 with automatic transmission without clutch pedal in my eye, but I am not sure because of the ATM transmission. I have already been reading before a bit in the ‘Read-through’ (that is, when this topic was by no means in the room) with regard to susceptibility, repairs and handling of ATM transmissions in the truck. If someone knows something more precise, or if they could best gain experience with automatic drives generally in the truck (and the fully automatic in this MAN in particular), then always like to get the information so that I know whether to access or better find a switch.
