Hello together, I have been breaking my mind about how I can organize my logistics for my company for some time now. I have a small company that deals with building materials and bulk materials and which also delivers to customers. Classic in the country. My customers are within a radius of max 20km around my location. So far I have two vehicles in use. Both old and actually no longer economical. But are paid and still running. One is a 7.49 tonne with 3.5 tons of payload. Three-sided tipper. The other is a saddle combination with 18 tons total weight, crane and payload 8.5 tons. Unfortunately my long-time driver (43 year in the company) retired last year. With the successor it unfortunately didn’t work out quite well and therefore I have been driverless for 1 month now. I am now considering because of the problem of the heavy availability of class 2 drivers, everything is changed so that we lose the requirements with vehicles up to 7,49 tons and trailers We are now with me still 3 men in the company who all have the old class 3 driver’s license and therefore can move such a vehicle. So I have a vehicle with 7.49 tons total weight with crane, to which I can then hang a 4.5 tons trailer, gladly with tilt function,. If someone has something similar in use or seen and can give me a few tips. A as high a payload as possible would be desirable and of course also the possibility in Umwe Thank you for your suggestions.

Panning tool, compressed air?
Hello in the round, I drive a camper on Iveco Eurocargo 80E21. So far I do not have a suitable tool for changing tires. The chassis is typical WoMo, plentifully dressed. So it is a relatively long extension necessary to be able to crank with enough distance from the body. For a wheel hub the space is missing. Alternatively I have looked at so-called torque boosters, which are in suspiciously cheap and of course from Hazet, but then clearly more expensive than every few years the Pa alternative 2: compressed air tool? I had a valve installed for the compressed air collection to be filled to the tire. Is there enough pressure and air volume to operate a impact screwdriver on it? What do the professionals recommend? I am interested in your experiences and solutions. Thank you Thomas

Mercedes Atego Compressed air problem
Hello guys, I have a question about a 2004 Mercedes Atego, fire truck. Recently the car was standing outside, while the comrades were throwing at the pump. After that he should go back to the depot, however, he did not let himself be slowed down. According to stories (I was not there myself) was only in circle 1 air, circle 2 was empty, although the engine was running. It was knocked around a little, at some point the car was moving again. Next day I looked at everything, but could not No extreme air loss, everything worked normally. However, I noticed that the multi-circuit protection valve briefly blows off at about 4.5 bar. After that, I am in a workshop with the car, where I was told that this was normal. But why is that, nobody could tell me either. Both brake circuits build up in 12 hours from 10 bar to 4.5 bar, is that still in the norm? In addition, a pressure gauge was installed in the circle 3, between the boiler and the control valve, around z u see if air comes from the multicircuit protection valve. All stoppers of the boilers were opened, there was no drop of water in it. Maybe you have an idea what else I could look at. Thank you and kind greetings, Ben

Question on the subject of compressed air horn (horns)
Moin Moin dear motor talk members, I wanted to buy a compressed air horn, of course with e-marks, so that it is allowed. At the moment I plan everything, so that I have everything on the screen and do not have to add everything afterwards and convert even more ^^ The problem is, I need a compressor that runs on 12V and so can “create” about 6-10 bar. Does one of you know there models? I only find compressors for car tires that can afford the pressure. But I would like to n I don’t know, but I hope you could help me anyway, because it’s about “truck” horns. Continue in the text, other compressors often have only 1,3 – 1,8 bar and I don’t know if and how it should work, that they are supposed to produce with a tank 6-10 bar. Does someone have experience there, so with a conversion or generally with the topic? Already many thanks for the help. MfG, Gruetze

3 hoursL Lenk time as long break
Hello I ask here because I have not found a suitable answer yet. after 4.5 h 45min break are clear but what if you have only 3 -3,5h driving time at a time ? Since my company wants to save so great she has made the packing warehouse in Düsseldorf and has now everything packed in Franfahrt a.M. For that now a staff member can drive to Frankfurt there to pick up the goods and bring them to Düsseldorf. That’s 3h driving time per track if it’s a bit fuller on the A3 it’s 3.5h. Wi For a long time we have to take a break ? Ps the whole runs under factory traffic and is led with a 15t. Normally we only cucumber on the airport grounds in Düssseldorf rum ie we have within our 8h working hours only about 30 min driving times of the rest are loading / unloading of Fulggenzeugen and waiting. Thanks times in advance greeting Ralf

Refreshing brakes on the Clark forklift…
Hi guys, I’m about to open another topic. Here’s a problem with my diesel truck. More precisely here’s about brakes. Everything is hydraulic here. Handbrake and footbrake. Handbrake unfortunately doesn’t hold the truck on the slope. Rolls slowly but safely down. With footbrake the truck does brake, but not exactly as it should. On the small slope, the truck does a little down first (about 3-5m) then the truck stops. If I stop both (handbrake and handbrake). d Put on the foot brake) together, then the forklift stops after 1-2m. I am somewhat dissatisfied with this. I have unfortunately no one in the village who can help me and for service I don’t want to pay 1000 CHF, which is unfortunately fast in Switzerland. I also know that this is a delicate topic, but I need their help! What is the problem? Brake pads, main brake cylids, wheel brake cylinders, air in the line? Where is the hand brake (front wheel or rear wheel)? Where is the foot brake? he follow! Best greetings from Bern Egor Gaeumann

Forklift Linde, replacement project for Bobcat…
Hello guys, Since I have closed previous topic until 10 January, I have no help. I have now bought a forklift. It runs perfectly, the engine and hydraulics is dry. It also drives. Only what it has is a problem sometimes with driving. And that is: I start the engine, the engine runs, and I want to drive once, (whether forward or backward) give full gas the engine has very high speed, but the forklift does not drive anywhere. Down from the gas, again on gas, two seconds, dan n squeaks it, or grinds it and afterwards it drives in a jerky way. He also drives perfectly afterwards until the next stop. Then the same thing. BUT!: Sometimes he drives gently without problems, after the brakes also well. I have never experienced such a thing! What’s the matter? Has anyone had such a thing? Can someone help me? It is a Linde H15D vintage about 1998 with hydrostatic gearbox. I hope you can help me. Greetings from Switzerland Egor Gaeumann

Costs for Sprinter with trailer
Hello dear colleagues, I’ve been driving my Sprinter for a few months and I’m very self-employed for several freight forwarders. Now I bought a 5 meter trailer. Payload just over 2t. My question is now how much can I/should be able to set up in comparison to the normal tours without a trailer? Ask for quick help because the first orders are already in front of the door and I have no idea how much I should have written in the offer… thank you for your help

Compact loader, Bobcat, winter project…
Hello dear people, I have recently bought a Bobcat b.Z. UNC61. This has full cabin! Since I bought this as a project, he has of course many defects. I have not had much experience with repairs, however, I want to do that. I think that many helpers can help me here. And this compact loader has two problems: 1: The cooler does not work, the engine and hydraulic oil is not cooled and become extremely hot. The hoses are also very brittle. Which steps do I have to take first? 2: The compact loader smokes very hard, after 5 minutes of operation, has smoke mist in front of the house, comes out of the exhaust, this also gets very hot very quickly. What is this? Spray pump wrongly set? Normal? Which steps should I take first? 3: The cabin looks very ugly! Also the wiring is extremely brittle, breaks if you have to I think I should replace it. But this comes after it. However, the engine is running perfectly! I am looking forward to your help! Thank you! Friendly greetings from Bern Egor Gaeumann
