Hi people, what does it say against raising the speed limit for trucks and cars with trailers to 100 km/h? Somehow, many drivers get hectic on country/Federal roads, if they can’t drive at least the permissible maximum speed of 100 km/h, that’s what I can do at times. As a result, some explosive situations, which usually run out of light, but only too often end up in the disaster. If all 100 are allowed to drive, the story would have to be told. Hello, a well-known one asked me if I can pick up a car with a trailer for it with my car, because I have a trailer hitch on it. I’m not sure now because of the trailer load. Lt vehicle papers I can pull a braked 1600 kg. Does the weight refer to the permissible total mass of the trailer or only the actual weight? The trailer it has has has a maximum permissible mass of 2700 kg with a curb weight of 600 kg, the car to be transported weighs just under 1 to. So I have to draw theoretically no more than 1.6 to total weight. Is that ok ? Or not ? mfg Sven

Hello ! I would like to buy a used sprinter with factory built-in tachograph (MTCO 1324). Since I am interested in the “true” mileage of the car (it always likes to play around), it would be interesting to know to what extent the mileage of the MTCO is manipulable or to what extent one can trust the mileage stored there. As far as I understand, the mileage is stored in the tachograph and passed on to the comb instrument? Is it possible to take a tachograph from one car into another and then show the speedometer its mileage – whereby the speedometer could then be adjusted to that of the MTCO? Is it possible to find out which MTCO was originally installed in which car (serial number or similar) ? I also read that the speedometer is probably sealed. Who can/should solve this seal or new? How can it be determined for a layman whether this seal has been changed or what does this seal (sticker, clip) consist of? Are there other ways (also in connection with the MTCO) to find out how high the actual mileage is? Apparently all the memory of the car can be overwritten … ? Thank you for your help MfG Hanno

Hello everybody! I am still relatively new to the truck drivers. I made my CE cardboard last autumn and now, besides studying as a helper with a freight forwarder on links with changebridges. I am really very satisfied with the job: Chef, colleagues, cars, payment – everything is fine. But one thing always remained shrieking for me in time: How do you calculate the transport costs? What payment modes are there? Have already had some of mileage discounts around the 1€ also belongs to time calculation. How do you have to calculate the purchase of vehicles? How do personnel costs flow into the calculation? In the whole area I really have no idea, also about taxes and so on. Maybe someone can tell me how to calculate the transport costs. VW-MAN 8,136 problem with air compressor ! My air compressor no longer pushes compressed air into the boiler. Air pressure then dropped to 4 bar and then the parking brake was fixed, which is also so good as a safety function. The compressor has become so hot, so that the paint of the pressure line that goes to the boiler is smeared off. 1. Question: What can be the reason for this ? 2. Hello an acquaintance and I am supposed to get a truck from Magdeburg on Wednesday and wanted to ask if he also needs a speedometer disc.
