Hello I drive a MAN TGA with a mega saddle and have to lift the air suspension a lot on the trailer, because the trailer is braking with it, always creates a voltage and does not go quite high, the same if I drive with a raised axle and then turn off the ignition and the axle lowers. Since the trailer does not brake with the attached spring memory, I thought if I can possibly install the hand brake valve and the release valve into the TGA, so the trailer would not be born If I should park in the mountain, I can still brake the trailer with the release valve. does that fit from the connections or do you have to change more? And please only answer my question and no statements as forbidden and so…., thank you 🙂

Front position lamps on the trailer

Maintenance intervals Daf XF 105

Truck (Iveco) gets too hot
Hello!. I have a temperature problem with my Iveco Trakker. When climbing it was always close to red and downhill with retarders in the red area at about 115 degrees. As a result, the workshop removed the cooler and washed out. Today I noticed with full charge that I have on the straight always at 90- 95 degrees and the loud fan (visco fan or what the name is) constantly switches on. Led additional lighting in side panel and fender
I want to put yellow led lamps under my side panels and red in the side fenders.I’ve always had that on my last tractors for the last 6 years and never had problems with Tüv or police.Now my boss suddenly says that he asked the Tüv people and he said it would not be allowed.Had already several TÜV appointments in all these years and controls also but it never bothered anyone t.In the Stvzo it is also not clearly explained…it seems not to be clearly forbidden.There are thousands of people driving around in the meantime.Did someone have actual experiences???The measures prescribed by the legislator would I otherwise there are no concrete insults.Does anyone have a hint that I can convince my boss??:-))And please…Columns…no discussions about the meaning and nonsense of this action. and tastes are known to be different:-)

Hello first of all! I have a question to the truck driver community, which can hopefully be answered here. I don’t want to provoke any here, but really only look for an explanation! So first of all a small situation description: I am a poor student and had to commute the last 2 weeks daily to the university (200km a distance), because I was terminated in the old apartment and I can only move into the new one next month. Since I am as already mentioned a poor swallower , I decided to drive this 4000km as fuel-saving as possible. Ergo: Right track with cruise control ~90 behind a 40ton with a distance of 50m. This saves me almost 100€ compared to the “normal” way of driving. Now, however, it happened to me 3 times that another, obviously faster truck ran up on me. Instead of overtaking me, however, was first driven up to a few meters and light-hupped. The first time I thought, if anything with But that wasn’t the case. After that happened to me before, I’m looking for an explanation. My question: What’s going on? Are right lane “sleepers” of truck drivers not like to be seen? Tachograph duty in exclusively privately used vans/boxes >3,5 to ??
moin, despite long google and read, I have not found anything “sound” for tachograph duty with purely privately used transporters over 3.5 – 5 tons, almost all topics deal with commercial use incl. the exceptions (local transport – 100 km radius without driver card e.g.) No information on whether such a transporter needs a tachograph at all when registering and using private vehicles…. It wouldn’t really bother, but the things have to check regularly a transporter/car with separate loading area is certainly always a truck. So: could you have the tachograph extended with private registration and use ? does someone know about ?

Hello people! I’m thinking if I should make the truck driver’s license. Come fresh from school. But I’ve been 27 years. Made my food technician. Before the training and still working. I’ve been out of school for about 6 weeks now. I already have about 70 applications outside. From time to time there was an interview. 6 months work for free !? no thanks for the interview. Now I thought I’d make my truck driver’s license. So as I see that is the working situation there And I like to drive a car/truck! I worked at Europcar for a while and drove trucks to Paris or something like that. 7.5 tonner. In my current driver’s license there is something inside that I can drive with 12 tons. Only I understand that not quite what that is. Now my questions: What does the driver’s license cost about? Which class should I do exactly? Should I take additional tickets at the same time? Is one often taken as a “NEWLING” or like the Spe Is a quick course for the truck driver’s license good !? I thank you in advance Gruss Mike
