  • Iveco- Daily Electrical Problems

I have been the owner of an Iveco truck Daily 35S12V, Fg.-Nr. ZCFC358300D350064 for about 3 months. This vehicle means to turn off the light and turn it on when it wants to. One time near-accident as a driver waiting in a side street confused the switching on and off of the light with light hoop and I meant to let him out. And it is also not funny when at 2 o’clock in the morning on the highway in an exit the light goes out. Now my Iveco Who Is that not possible and it seems that my vehicle is the only one who does something like that, has someone ever had or heard of it?? Furthermore, the charging control light works at irregular intervals in all possible conditions or does not go out after starting. Restart and the problem has been solved. It is said that only mine. Now this vehicle should cost me 4022 EURO for the 3 months because I want to return this “SONDERMODEL”. and I have to keep the car. Of course, if I’m more interested in a proper repair, someone has an idea what that could be.

  • Heavy cooling water loss MAN 460 tga, Bj 2000

Hello! We are an association that brings relief goods to the needy people in Eastern Europe with my own truck. All the work is financed by donations. Therefore I ask for advice before I go back to the workshop. For a few months our MAN consumes 5-6 liters of cooling water, whether I drive 500km and then fill up or if I drive 5000km and then fill up. Always about 5-6 liters of cooling water, never more. We stayed at MAN, which has all famous, easily verifiable places. On the last auxiliary transport, on the way home from Ukraine, cooled water level checked again. There were about 8 liters missing. After another 800 missing again 8 liters. In the oil (oil measuring rod) there is no water, it is nice black. On the cooler etc I find no cold water traces, even under the vehicle not. There is also no white smoke. The vehicle has a retarder, on the pipes there is also no cooling water loss visible. What could it still be, or wa. I’m looking forward to every tip, because as mentioned, this vehicle is financed by donations and used only for the transport of relief goods to Eastern Europe. (More information: www.dhhn.de) Thank you in advance! Julian

  • MAN TGS with alternator problem

Hello ! An acquaintance has a MAN TGS 440 Ps, one year old and is traveling in distribution traffic with fuel oil. A few weeks ago the on-board computer reported a generator failure. It was then checked at MAN and changed. However, a short time later the same game… always sporadic error messages with voltage drop etc Yesterday the TGS did not make it to the workshop, since the voltage fell on the way under 20 V, so was alternator number 4 !!!!!! built. MAN suspects a bad series alternators…I suspect that the truck is the problem…well a bad contact that destroys the controller ??? Who would have experienced an idea or maybe similar? Greetings Jang

  • Retraining to the BKF

Servus with each other, may have to make a re-training to the BKF, now I would have been interested in whether one gets more coal in the re-training than in the normal training, since I already have an education as plumber and therefore is also higher qualified. MFG KingKerosin88

  • Consumption ad blue

Good day With us, two trucks that require ad-blue are in use. This results in a monthly consumption of about 200 liters. Is an installation of a 1000 liter tank of ad-blue worth for the own consumption? That would have to be filled about every 3 months.

  • Load distribution 7.5-ton

I have a question about loading / load distribution for “7,5-tons” – I’ve been searching through the complete Internet 5 times and can’t find a diagram from which I can take this: A (example) MB Atego 818 with case structure is to be loaded with pallets of 235kg each and then unloaded individually from different customers. Can I (only weight technical!) always simply unload the next one at the back until the thing is empty, or must I at some point left x pallets direction Shifting the rear axle in order to be able to meet the permissible axle loads? Otherwise – if someone could give me roughly the maximum loads per load meter (if the load is parted) this would be very helpful 😉 Many greetings & thanks already!

  • Tyre damage 😮

Oh, terrifyingly let go….. Last week brought the truck from the TÜV – everything is fine. This week I do my tour and found out the tire damage (picture). What could have happened ? Age symptoms, that the tire starts to crumble ? Then it would have to be all 4 ….

  • Atego 818 vs. TGL 8,180

Hello! So far we have had a pure MB Atego fleet. Now we get 8 new MAN TGL with 180 or 1 with 240 hp. I would be interested in your experiences in terms of economy, satisfaction, handling, etc. with the TGL. And what would you rather take if you as a driver had the choice?! MFG
