Engines are being developed in a close network Freightliner LLC is also integrated into the components network of the DaimlerChrysler Truck Group. Detroit Diesel, for example, successfully sells MBE 4000 engines in North America and will begin assembly of the MBE 900 medium-heavy series at the end of the year. With the best power weight in its class, the MBE 4000 is the preferred engine for long-distance and distribution traffic as well as bulk freight transport in North America. The MBE 4000 engines are used in numerous trucks from Freightliner LLC and the American Group brands. The units are closely related to the European six-cylinder OM 457, used at Mercedes-Benz in the truck Axor and in the Travego touring bus. The engine range is manufactured by Mercedes-Ben by the MBE 900 series. The MBE 900 is the preferred choice for a wide range of applications for medium heavy trucks, for example special vehicles, for the food industry, in distribution, for school bus fleets, towing services or construction companies. The four- and six-cylinder engines of the 900 series with 4.25 to 7.2 litres displacement are currently being produced completely in Germany. From 2007 they will be supplied to Detroit Diesel market-specific components in the USA. n and heavy distribution trucks from Freightliner LLC are in use. These above mentioned engines from Detroit Diesel are all EPO 07 suitable and thus also fall under the Euro 5 standard. EPO 07 is more stringent than Euro 5.

Who can help?
Hello Who can help me? I occasionally help out with my uncle in the carpentry shop. Now he has received an order from a large customer to Munich which he cannot refuse… Now material for approx. 200 changing spindles has to be mounted or transported unmounted from Bochum to Munich. 100 lockers fit unmounted well on a 7.5 tonner which is often delivered in a circle. Now my problem: How do you get the stuff best and cheaply to Munich? Spinde have to be set up and adapted in Munich, about 3 people are needed. Possibility 1: Two 7.5 tonners at Europcar and drive up themselves. Cost of vehicles per piece 80€ for 24 hours, kilometers free (price is safe, over relationships!!!). I think 48 hours will last the action, so 320€ for the vehicles. 630 kilometers from Bochum to Munich. What does a 7.5 tonner consume? I calculate times with 20 liters/100KM, i.e. about 130 liters per vehicle/track. 52 0 liters of diesel for both vehicles back and forth. 520 Ltr. X 1,15, just under 600€. It adds 920€ to the pay for 3 people and Hotel Etc. Possibility 2: Borrow only a 7.5 ton and borrow a tandem trailer. WHERE CAN MAN SOWAS MEETS, and what does a tandem trailer cost for 48 hours?? Possibility 3: Send the 3 people up with a car and tools. How much does the transport of the forwarding company cost??? s still for possibilities??? For your help Thank you in advance…

Small professional driver(7.5t)
Hello@all I drive a 7.5t for a big textile brand,I know most professional drivers(40t) will start grinning now.But we small drivers, have just as much stress as the big brummis. But I like to do my job, you rarely hear that.I’ve been doing my job for two years now,and have already experienced a lot in the two years. Most people underestimate the profession as professional drivers who have never driven such a vehicle before.I’ve heard of more than one person who has never experienced such a problem before. “Well, that can’t be difficult.”I have it a bit easier with the steering and rest times, because I’m driving with a second driver. And I also sometimes come over my driving time, but I still have the luck. That my boss pays because he knows what it’s like with me and my colleagues. And now I might want to make the driving license for the big one soon. But I’ve also heard of several people that I should let it be.It would have been out in this time, just out. Missing money. That I could put the money on better, but I’ve already thought about it.I’ll guess if everything works out well and I have the money together.I’ll do the driver’s license in spring 2008.Can you give me a tip about what you make for long-distance traffic,so cirka net per hour. That would be very nice greeting Jan

Consumption Scania R420 Euro4
Hello, we have 1o Scania R420 Euro4 running in local transport (80% highway / 20% highway). These are all 4-6 liters/100 km above the predecessor vehicles (99 Actros 2540, 2001 TGA 410). Scania knows no solution, driver training has brought only a small effect. Now my question is whether there are others who have the same experience with this engine. We also have 5 SZM running 420 hp in Euro5 in long-distance traffic, this has top consumption. Would be grateful for any help. Greetings

Truck registration for minibuses
Moin! I’m thinking of adding a T4( 97 Multivan 2,5 Tdi) and allowing it as a truck. I was told that you have to remove the benches and the seat belts. A separation between the driver cab and the cargo compartment is also necessary! someone knows if the informations are correct or if I forgot something and someone has already done something like that and has been allowed to gain experience!

Fuel pump broken ??
Hello, with my Peugeot J5 (year 1993, 1,9L diesel) I always have to be careful that I do not drive the tank empty, because otherwise the whole dirt always goes into the fuel tank and this then has to be changed. But no further trouble, that even I can manage. After that the car runs again with full power (130 kmh peak ). Yesterday it was again so….although I could not remember that the tank was empty. But there were actually some crumbs in the filter. So again it was so…. changed…. but then… at approx. 100 km/h it is closed. The car doesn’t pull anymore. As if I hadn’t changed the filter at all. Twice it went out at a slow turn or stop at the intersection. Jump then again immediately and continue wonderfully until 100 km/h in the 5th gear. Then the same … it doesn’t go on..I really notice how he wants..but it doesn’t come to anything. The other gears can be fully excited. My question now : Can it be that some dirt on the filter By or through the filter is through and now the injection nozzles are clogged. Or the worse possibility: Can the fuel pump die… be dead ?? But as I said, until 100 it drives wonderful. And in the past the problem “only” was eliminated with a new filter. How does it make itself noticeable, when the fuel pump is broken, breaks ?? Does this go over such a long period ?? Have the agen since January 07. What I do not have to say. The previous owner is the car (in summer) 06) driven with Pöl or as it is called. But it’s also been a while. Would be grateful about some opinions and tips. THANK YOU

Euro 5 with vegetable oil ?
Hello, drive an Actros in the 2 tank system with vegetable oil, which also works wonderfully. Now the truck is to be exchanged for a new Euro5. Since 1.10.07 all truck manufacturers have to install a nitrogen oxide sensor at Euro5, which ensures that the exhaust gas values are adhered to, I wonder if this still works with vegetable oil – as it is known with plant. other values arise. Who knows what about it or can help me ?

Man oh man what brainless truckers were today…
Holiday time is stress time and stowage time that we all know but with some truckers probably the fuses burned out today (if available) Or are there currently many aids on the way? This morning A1 truck (hertz truck with motor traffic nail trailer ) Overtakes me and pulls in on the half so that I had to slow down on the stand strip!!!! Such a beginner A2 Do> direction Hannover I was on the way with 85km/h like all other drivers at Bönen truck overtaking ban which some probably did not bother any further and they nevertheless 5 min on the left track 5 trucks overtook around then exactly at the departure Rheda Wiedenbrück 38sec were rather (headshake) Such a moron construction site Before Hamm a pole had to pass by me and could only overtake me in the driveway of the construction site (brain cracking idiot ) back drive A33 free track behind me pulls out a Dutchman to not overtake there came from behind a BMW ( already faster) which only by an emergency braking has avoided an accident (OLLER KÄSKOP) On the way home with the car I was standing behind 2 trucks at the traffic light, at Green find the 2nd truck at the first despite oncoming traffic on the left-bending lane to overtake for the opponent !!! would have crashed if the 1st truck had not stopped!!!! I WANT NOT IT WHEN WE ARE RIGHTLY APPROVED BY MANY CAR VEHICLES IT IS TO MANY TROTTE UNDERWARDS LOVE COLLECTIONS IT MAL RUHIGER ASSESSED BY NIEM THERE’S A PRESSURE TO BE AT HOME 5 MIN EHER
