Hello, I hope someone can help me. My driver’s license will be extended on 28.03.2011, so it is valid until 28.03.2016. According to the exception I would have to complete the further training until 28.03.2016. If I already complete the further training until 10.09.2014, is it still valid for the extension of the driver’s license on 28.03.2016? Until when would I have to complete the next further training,10.09 2019 or 28.03.2021? Gruss Sascha

Mercedes Actros Deficiencies at HU
Moinsen truck community, I am writing a paper about the discovery and assessment of defects at the HU/SP on type MB Actros. Since I actually come from the car industry I wanted to fix my truck “knowledge gap” with this work. I chose the topic to be considered only purely technical aspects, i.e. it is not about legal requirements in terms of how long, heavy or how bright what must be, but it should only be on covert signs and defects in the area Since I have enough information on “typical” wear pictures (heaters, mininum specifications, etc.) I wanted to ask this community if there are untypical or frequently chafed defects of the type Actros (e.g. ABS cable to the trailer short-circuited etc.). I am looking for experience values of incarcerated trucks that help a curious young man in his work. (I also have to admit that the truck mechanics/masters I have met since writing the work are a lot nicer and more competent than my car colleagues). I would like to thank you in advance for any information. MfG Tiw

Actros 4, Driving behaviour and Fleetboard
Hello colleagues, last week I had the great luck to re-drive an 1842 LS Actros. On boarding I thought for a moment that the vehicle was very similar to the Scania R-Class. From the arrangement of the cockpit, the color scheme and also the instrument cluster is damn similar to the Scania. From driving I was enthusiastic. Through pull-out engine, precise and tight steering, but especially the new Powershift inspired me. Damn fast gear changes that are hardly noticeable. e thing I don’t like it so much. If you drive towards a slope and you take the foot off the gas to use the rolling behaviour so the part goes very quickly into the ECO-Roll function. If you tap the brake easily the gear is inserted again. But shortly afterwards the gear goes back into ECO-Roll function, (with the Acros 2 and 3 the gear remains in it). So has hardly a chance to use the motor towing moment. Just before driving the descent I switch back with my Actros 3 back there with I have a high speed for the motor brake and the cooling of the retarder. I had real problems with the Actros 4. You have to turn on the first stage retarder and then switch it back on. Otherwise the gearbox goes back to ECO-Roll. I have to say quite honestly, I did not like that so much. Well, since I am a fleetboard enthusiast driver I have looked at the tour. The brake picture does not look good at all. If the brake picture on the Actros 3 looks like this one thinks that he can I have made a little knowledgeable about this. In the Actros 4 another brake system is installed, not Wabco but Knorr. The characteristic of the brake valuer is different. That means that you get a different record here, but you think the driver is braking like a beclopter is not like that. What experiences have you already had with the new vehicle? Greeting Truckpower

745 vs. 782 – Your experiences / recommendations
Hello together; I am supposed to work on the topic of changing bridges and in principle have no idea about this topic: Which of you professionals can help me: – When do I take 745, when 782 ? Why do you take one or the other ? – Which wheelbase does it need ? – Digger or tandem trailer ? Maybe someone can also tell me where I can read information. Thanks ThomThom01

New seats for trucks wanted
Hello has someone an idea where we could get new seats? We have a Steyr 12M18 and it should be equipped with new seats. We liked the Aguti Milan 12 best so far (because it actually meets all our requirements). Unfortunately, we don’t even get an offer from them, so we could at least say: Okay has done itself anyway because too expensive. Or so. Sportscraft 10.1 would still be in question. I don’t think that the existing seats around/required Since we have already asked in some saddleries and because the information was received that they would not refit armrests. Before we spend a lot of money we would like to pro-possess the seats as well. But also there so far only cancellations or no feedback. Ideas? Thanks already greetings Manu(ela)

Final examination Professional driver
Moin colleagues, would like to introduce me briefly: I am 32 years old, drive trucks since 2005 and currently take a preparatory course for the external test to the professional driver, which lasts a total of 4 months. Now my question, what does the test (predominantly the practical) bring to me?I mean, driving and shunting is clear, but would like to know how the exact procedure is or what the practical part still contains. Because my instructors… well, I can’t get really useful answers… MFG

Biomass transport, which supports sit suitable for this purpose.
we might want to get into the biomass transport now and therefore I wanted to ask which trailers or structures are used for it. I assume that the whole thing is transported with saddle trains. maybe you could also set up photos of such vehicles to the left.

Experience with Axor 1843
we had the last week a test szm from mercedes. (Axor 1843) the part was a eurotec 5 and I was really surprised by the consumption. also the pull-through of the engine was good and the obowhl was only a normal 8-speed transmission installed, which would not be really in question for us anyway. the cab with the bed and without high roof is also not bad you would have to take just a few extras to it. but the very small axor driver’s house is probably a joke since we actually for 10 years I wanted to ask you what you think of the vehicle and what experiences you have done with it. so I thank you already in advance.

Driving and working time the same thing? Or not? What’s right now?
Hi, Is working time and driving time the same or not? I think that I can have 9 hours of pure driving time on the day and can carry out loading and unloading activities in between, so that I can also be able to travel 11 hours, if I have only been driving 9 hours in these 11 hours. My digital tachograph distinguishes at least finely between driving and working hours. Despite that I travel about 10 hours a day, I can’t even get close to the 9 hours driving time. When I start at 6 am I have to take a break between 12 am and 1 pm, at least according to the tachograph. Unfortunately everyone tells me something else, I have already heard the driving and working hours would be the same, so you are not allowed to travel for more than 9 hours every day (apart from the exceptions). So when I start at 6 am I have to stop at 3 pm, even if I do 5 hours of loading and unloading during this time. I didn’t even get a clear answer at the driving school, I asked three times and every time my question was apparently misunderstood!? I then gave up…
