  • STVO and other obligations in France

Good day girls and boys, I’m the new one and want to expand my horizon in this way.Next week to France, Spain and England will also go. It would be very nice if I could benefit from the experiences of the French Trucker. What special features do I have to expect if I cross the border with the truck? Is there a side where everything is legal? But I also care about the organization on the parking lots or rest areas. I know this with rain with Li If I’m right, the speeds inside are 50, highway 90 and big thank you in advance Jonny

  • Control!!!!!

Hallöchen, I had this week’s control, I drove on the federal road was 2 lanes and ran a bit tough I was on the left lane had just overtaken another colleague or was just a driver’s house driver’s house I see in the parking lot in about 100m n police standing with a cell or at the delay strip, when he looked at my truck I knew I was on it now …. he TANZELTE between the other VEHICLE vehicles until he stood on the middle strip, held me the ke lle and showed with the right hand on the parking lot, when the good man was already started I already flashed right …….. the policeman then blocked the right track that I could drive to the parking place …. there it started then, the policeman climbed up first and wanted to read digi tacho, haha yes scrapt I still analog (breath) then started: driver’s license, vehicle tickets, licenses etc pp after all this was okay further tachodisk please … so well my 28 days passed out and those of the current week (3 piece), then he went into his bus and after 30min he came again he said there you have to watch bits with the speed and so on but otherwise everything was okay. then he started to measure mature profile was also everything okay to the right ripe of the trailer the was FAST finished, then he got his rollerboard went under lkw, has the brake discs touched on driving tracks, shock absorbers looked at etc, and to close the staple I’ve got 22 pallets of food, 18t, then we’ll open the page, all right, I’ve opened the page and he’s scared!!!!, over every 2 pallets 1 belt, so every row is properly belted…. then we came to the end of the control for almost 1 hour, (now why I ask) I need a week and a holiday report that I know on Saturdays and Sundays. don’t drive to it he wanted to get horny, then I said I’ll lead it to my cheff and then it’s okay. I called my cheff and he said we don’t need something like that, what’s right now???

  • Actros: axle loads 2-axle SZM vs. 3-axle SZM with loading crane

Hello your trucker… I have to bother you because of axles and loading loads… So, with us in the company (wholesale) an SZM with loading crane should be purchased. Now I have heard that the probably 44-er Actros with loading crane want to order ( should lift on 9m back at the trailer still good 2-2,5 t!!!), but nen 2 axles!!! I directly thought about the load distribution etc… Do you have any exact data from the two SZM regarding curb weight, VA load, HA load and permissible loading load? Fear that I can load only about 5-6t in the first two fields because of the heavy crane… Would like to prevent that there is again a wrong investment, just because again the office stallion (who probably had at most a OBI trailer behind the car) wants to calculate the numbers in front of the boss and thus save again at the wrong end!!! Was at the last expansion of the fleet exactly the same!!! 35 giants for the bag… Ohso…. Transport cottage!!! So definitely without Koje… Hope you can help me! Greeting Alex

  • Actros 3 of the body stood before me!

Hello truck driver community, had seen today by accident at a vehicle manufacturer an Actros 3 and took a few pictures. I like the new Actros 3 very well, the flashing light above does not look as good as a pimple. The view from the front is a dream and the grill in car color perfect harmony. I find the sun visor not so bad on the contrary it fits to the overall picture. Had not had much time to look at the Actros 3 more closely was only chance and I was allowed to stop I didn’t actually take a look through the window, but unfortunately I didn’t take a picture. I noticed that the lever for the parking brake is covered with a rubber cuff like with the gear lever. Hope you like the pictures, I find it an enrichment for the road. Outside you an accident-free and good ride. AudiFan574

  • Strike wave in Europe

Last month it was hot in Europe: in Spain, France, Portugal, Great Britain, Ireland, Scotland, Poland, Bulgaria, the Netherlands and Belgium, truck drivers protested against the high prices at the pump. In Spain, more than 25,000 police officers were in use to normalize the supply situation. The economic damage of the country also amounts to 1 billion euro damage. In many car manufacturers, the tapes stood still. At the end of July, the In these cases, the diesel is as expensive as nowhere in Europe, Germany is number 3!! This article comes from the long-distance driver magazine TRUCKER of the latest edition!! I wonder why it is not possible to strike in Germany against the high fuel prices!! In Spain, for example, the diesel is over 50 cents cheaper than in Germany!! I seriously wonder what is going on with the German state! Such price differences are no longer possible. Ormal!! And since we have an EU, fuel prices should also be uniform as well as toll etc.!!

  • Name screen with LED’s

Hello colleagues, have the following problem. I got a tip from a comrade how to glue a name tag with LED’s. Now I bought and connected the beautiful LED’s. Each time after about 3 weeks the LED’s break for some reason. This is now the 2nd time. I don’t want to buy new LED’s always after 3 weeks. If someone knows about it and can tell me if I still have any resistances dazwis Here is my short description of the LEDs: They are only connected to 12 volts ! Have you switched in series : + LED – —— + LED – —– + LED – —– + LED – —– + LED – —- + LED – —– + LED – always 6 pieces, since one has such a approx. 2.1 – 2.9 volts. As said always after about 3 weeks of the name tag almost 3/4 of the LED’s falls out. Hugely over a few new tips above all about a small short description or drawing. Greetings Mister07

  • TGM 18.280 Problems with unround motor

Hello, since January I have a TGM 18.280 and in the lower rotation range the engine runs round and does not sound good at all. After the replacement of the ijectors, however, nothing has changed and the engine data are not noticeable. The workshop has tried to fix this shaking already three times, without success. Does any of you have similar experiences with the engine?? The error occurred already at the handover of the vehicle and is up to now unchanged. Greeting Horst35153

  • Actros Mp2 water problem

Hallöchen, once again me has finally caught the bock… Stand last Friday at the washroom and I looked at my diesel pre-filter (is the heated water separator, the big one) and I saw the below all red is in the display glass. So off into the workshop tub and let off the soup once… It smelled like coolant!!! And I have regularly coolant loss in the last 2 weeks 4 liters of water after tilted at a mileage of approx. 4000-5000km. Water loss of the vehicle has always been told me. No one has cared about it. How can it be that the cooling water comes into the diesel tank or into the fuel tank? (Diesel main tank is always closed) Can it also be that the vehicle has too little leeway or does not pull? Can it also be that the Exorbitant high fuel consumption of it comes from it (49,28litres to 100km) ? Vehicle is: Actros Mp2 1841 ez: 24.4.2009 EDkm: 450 000

  • Electricity for fridge and freezer

Hello Power”Auskenner”, I try it again today, I probably expressed myself stupidly last time. If I have a fridge that needs 26 watts on the day (so 95 KWH/year … hopefully I gave it this way ) and a fridge that needs 145 kwh/year, so divided by 365 does that then 39 W/day, makes a total of 65 W/day, how can I cope with batteries? Probably I have expressed myself stupid again, but you understand that already. 1000 thanks from Klaus STOP !!!!!!! I probably made a mistake again and forgot a zero with the daily consumption. So the fridge should therefore need 260 watts per day and the freezer then 390 watts per day. So in total then about 600 watts. How and with which batteries can I get that. 1000000 x Thanks for an answer
