hello people, have another question. mb would like for 2 grips (a-pillar re. and li.) incl. installation 301€ incl. VAT. grips incl. mounting material for both sides cost 131€ without VAT. the installation is too expensive for me as early renter and you can certainly do that yourself. for consequential damage I have to we ourselves, because the retrofitting of the daimler ag is not tested or released. can someone please tell me, however, how I get the covering of the a-pillars and whether it is no matter at what height the grips are attached, or is there exrta predestined for it? thank you for your informations ??

Are helpless, blower air does not arrive – problem with Crafter and Sprinter
We are on the road with our Sprinter 319 from 2014 with womo construction and have, like with our predecessor car, a 2006 crafter the same problem: After a operating time of 2-3 hours the blower noise changes and there is no air out of the openings. Blower runs audible and air cools (ventilation slots are ice cold) After a short turn off of the blower then it goes again for half an hour, after a longer break it goes then again for 2-3 hours. When we went 3 years ago with the crafter in the workshop, wanted to calculate 2 full working days (extension cockpit kpl ), but can not tell us if you would find the error. Without climate with dog in Croatia is not possible, therefore we ask for a tip. That must be a known problem? Thank you Dear greetings Jörg + Sandra

Don’t jump on after repair in the workshop
Hello I brought my Sprinter into a workshop because he jumped badly. The workshop changed the light plugs better but it didn’t, then they disassembled the whole engine and now he starts up and goes out again after about a minute. The workshop is by the way already over a month and I can not use the car. Can I sue the workshop somehow or have the car repaired at the expense of the workshop where else ? many thanks

Sprinter 216 CDI engine damage
Good evening dear people, I am more on the road in the Touran, T5 and G6 forum but hope from you professionals help and advice. We have a small company that has specialized in airport transfer, sick and dialysis drives. Have in our fleet several Tourans, T5 ́s and also a Sprinter. Up until about half a year ago a 213 CDi from 2002 which has had a relatively problemless development of its 650,000 km. In average our cars are moved 100 tkm per car. This sprinter was sent into retirement and we decided for the current Sprinter due to the good experiences made. A 216 CDI BlueEfficiency of 04/2014 was delivered. He was ordered as a taxi because we own a license. Now he ran until the end of 11/2014 until he remained at 55 ́000 km with oil loss. He was introduced and one found quite quickly that the control chain has skipped and thus an oil exit was found -> diagnosis of the factory saddle AT M to cost from MB. Now it is so that for more than 4 weeks on the part of MB nothing does. As a rental car there was a Vito with which we can’t do anything, because the Sprinter is a taxi. Last status 3 days ago was the one that the engine is no longer produced due to the frequency of problems. What now with ours nobody could tell us yet, they probably work on it. Towing coupling – different bucks for 903
Hello together! Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the box and the box (316 CDI, W903) in the photos of the trailer coupling? So the AHK of a box also fits the box/bus? I have tried both the search here and also various search engines of the Internet, but was unfortunately not found. Sprinter 316 cdi bj.2003 glows despite new pre-glow control unit and does not pre-glow
Hello together, I have a big problem with the 316 ner. All glowing candles and pre-glow control unit were replaced. It went well also 3 weeks until the pre-glow glasses are again perament on the light and no more pre-glow. It was driven for a longer time so ( sprung after about 10 times org) and quickly caught up with the speed in the stand. At temperatures around the freeze point is no longer thinking that it starts. According to the diagnostic device: -cylinder 1 “glow candle failed” -cylinder 2 “glow candle out of the ordinary” -cylinder 3 “glow candle out of the ordinary” -cylinder 4 “glow candle out of the ordinary” -cylinder 5 “glow candle out of the ordinary” I have now measured everything for cable breakage and voltage: -the big plug with the 5 cables pulled off and up to glow candles plug measured everything OK -glow candles at short notice checked everything OK -external a thin cable with 12v on the plug to the glowers held on (jewils a contact of the 5 pole plug)thin cable quickly became hot, so glow candles out close. -Dick red cable on the pre-glow control unit has 12v -The small plug(anstürung)brown has minus and the red/black fluctuates between 3,5,8,10 volts around. That should be the can-bus cable or???? I hit my ears so hard on Sunday and can’t get any further. I hope you can help me further and maybe a motor talker was just in front of the same problem. Find the brake force distribution workshop!
Hello together, I read here often in the forum. Now I also write a post to my FZG: A Sprinter with protection case structure, 316 CDI 12/2013 – 128 Tkm. Yesterday the good me on the return ride unfortunately left in the desert. On the federal road at 70 km there was a jerk and nothing went on. No more gas, no proper steering, no real brake. In the display stood then Zig things. Among other things. Brake power distribution workshop look up. Esp unusual, ad blue lights also, mk l is now also on. End of song, had to go to the workshop. So far no info. Have read tens of things, but to the said error brake power distribution workshop I did not find anything. The engine doesn’t start anymore, instead it shows the tens of errors. Has someone had such a thing already? Or does one know? Had changed the battery a few days before and already made a few km with it. It is not empty or too low charged. I am grateful for every answer and tip. Greetings

Particle filter lamp ABS lamp brake lamp trace lamp
Hello together and that I at my Sprinter since last October the brake lamp abs lamp track lamp and particle filter lamp on. After a recall action by Mercedes I had to bring the car there was built a new software and a new driver airbag since the lamps were wanted to wedge what could do for it. I then brought the car in a workshop there was cleaned the particle filter and as far as car has normal power and drives spwuer normal except the Mercedes wanted to install a new particle filter and the flex. Pipe was from that I had it welded again. The particle filter lamp was turned off and I should drive so on. Now the car goes into the workshop again in a week and will look completely. My question is I can drive another week so I always worry about carbon monoxide? Or what capput go also if I’ve been driving like this for 3-4 months and if there’s nothing that can be called kapput. But could carbon monoxide get into the car because the particulate filter can’t give an error message anymore?

Connect ambient lighting
Hello I have built in an ambience lighting and connected it via terminal15. How can I connect the lighting that it only goes out when you open the driver’s door and not immediately when you turn off the ignition. The radio stays on until you open the door. Of course, it would be best if the lighting already responds when the door opens like the interior lighting.

Upgrade Sprinter 906 starter
I changed the battery with my Sprinter first because it partly bad sprang up and it also sounded so slow starting, as if it weakens. With bridge no problem. 2 weeks after that also the Lima failed, not always, but again and again. Lima lamp in the cockpit and no charging voltage. Also this was changed and since then is quiet. But, the problem with the weakening starter persists. If you start e.g. several times in a row then the Anl If you take a vehicle to bridge then you can’t take only one battery to bridge then. After 1-2 hours it then starts again without help. I checked all the cables as far as possible, but can actually also exclude because battery is connected almost directly to the engine. I would now like to expand the starter to check the contacts and/or to replace the starter. Can someone tell me how I rec Is it easy to get the starter? It is the normal 4 cylinder 2.2 CDI
