Hi Sprinterfreunde, I have recently had the problem that my big driver (a Sprinter-based mobile home) emits a beep tone/alarm signal from the cockpit as soon as I have put the gear in (on A) and then get off the brake. As soon as I step on the gas, it stops again. In the meantime, in which no pedal is actuated, he screams quasi. If I ignore it and do not press a pedal, the gearbox switches again to “N”. Otherwise I have no impairment and it switches What the hell is that?!? No one has ever posted such a problem anywhere and I am in despair! Do I really have to use it for nothing at MB?? It is a pre-programmed warning signal – that must be clearly identifiable! Thank you for your advice!

308D problem with cylinder head removal (OM 601.940)
Hello! Now I finally started with the ZKD change and arrived at the fixing bolts of the sliding rail. Before I break even more, I wanted to get some advice: There was already one on it and he hit the right, lower bolt again, without turning a screw in before. Looks pretty bad (photos) and I can not get a screw in there anymore. How do I go best, what can you do there? I would maybe try the But the place is really not easily accessible. Thank you.

Does my new 207D have engine damage?
Good evening, today I did my first tour (30 km) with my new Mercedes 207D (built in 1979) with great anticipation. He jumped badly, but I didn’t think anything. After a while I had the feeling that he was doing less performance, but I didn’t think anything about it either, because I don’t know the car yet and I couldn’t rule out factors such as slight climbs, headwinds… but then he drove quite normal again. On the way back he drove suddenly, despite full throttle in the first gear, only at the pace, in the second gear hardly any more. I then checked the oil level (with the oil of course was hot and the car was also slanting). Under these circumstances the measuring rod was in the middle (before the start of the journey it was in the upper range). From the oil cover came slightly black smoke (not blue or white). Then I tilted a little oil and started it again, then he w Did they hang me up a 207D with engine damage or could there be other reasons for the oil consumption or the suddenly missing performance? Greetings and thanks Stefan

T1 611, 409D, blower not working
Hi guys, I’m preparing for a bigger trip and I found out that my blower doesn’t work. The fuse is ok, then I looked at the schematic and found out that there is a heating blower engine. Well, so far as logical. But I don’t find the part? Neither looked from above, nor from below. According to the schematic a black, a red and a brown wire (mass) should go to the blower engine, but as I said, no idea where the part is. That would be very helpful if one of you knew about it. Merci, Michael

Sprinter, power loss – problem throttle valve
Hello, we have the problem with our Sprinter that there is an irregular and not reproducible loss of power, whereby the engine control light goes on. Only by repeatedly restarting the engine, the vehicle can be driven rationally again. The car was already several times in the Mercedes specialist workshop, where the error memory was read out (error throttle flap), and then several times! throttle flap, a sensor and the engine control unit were replaced. Cars don’t know, but suspect that there could be a cable break. A new wire harness would probably not be economical anymore, so I want to measure the cables. Can someone help me out with a schematic, or tell me which plug with pin assignment (motor control unit?) the throttle valve is connected to?

MB W903 Kögel body trailer coupling
Good evening, I wanted to ask if someone has a W903 Sprinter with a Kögel case body (Post DHL) which has entered a trailer coupling in the letter / note. Unfortunately, neither Mercedes nor the company Kögler had more documents to the AHK. MFG

T1 tow truck, rear brake without function
Have a Mercedes T1 tow truck “407 D” , Bj 1985, and after long restoration had to find out that there is no brake fluid at the rear brakes. Now I have already opened a few pipes to see when there is liquid, but in the area something in front of the rear axle, to the right, the brake line flows which comes from the front, and those which goes further to the rear to the brakes, into a strange component that I do not know. I have the assumption that through this part the liquid cannot get back, at least no liquid comes out at the rear opening when I kick the pedal. Can someone tell me what that part is? Thank you very much! Greetings, Michael
