Car hire as an accident replacement
Hello, after I see how intensely here some pure people deal with the whole thing, it would be nice if someone could help me further. I get a rental car due to an accident from the opposing insurance and had never had one before. As a budget they set me 50 euros per day. I would hand the car in on Fridays and pick up Mondays. Because of my still young 21 years only Sixt is in question. The current car is quite well motorized with 160 hp, even the equipment can be seen. I could rent both in Ludwigshafen, as well as in Mannheim, the selection of available vehicles seems quite large. Actually I wanted to rent the class “LSMR” (60 euros per day), but this is often discouraged from doing so, why is that? What could you recommend to me? I like to drive quickly and comfortably, would the class “LDAR” be an alternative? Diesel would be better if e But if the big motorizations are mostly only available as gasoline, I would take one of them. So, what can you recommend and suggest to me there =) I will probably drive 700 km over the three days, as there is a lot to be done.

Renting/renting a private car
In the course of the rising fuel prices there are now various internet portals that mediate private car rental. So I put my car in there, there is a customer who wants to rent my car. He transfers the rent to the transfer and then after deduction of the commission to me. The car is then covered by a separate insurance. Actually a very good idea to compensate the rising fuel costs. Has someone tested this before? P.S. : I It starts from 15 euros per day for a smart convertible. In addition, insurance (full cascade + liability 8.90 €+ transfer fee1.50 €)+ petrol. So much cheaper than Sixt about 80 € per day.

Upgrade Voucher and Fleet Situation
Moin, I have an upgrade voucher from Sixt here, which can bring me a free upgrade by a class if there is something suitable. As I was quite impressed by the new BMW F10, I would like to get it again at the next rent and to use the class PDMR (BMW 520d/523i/MB E200/E220/E250/Audi A6 2.0). By upgrade it would be the six-cylinder versions, group LDAR. However, since this has become quite rare, the Question whether it makes any sense to use the voucher in this case. If I also receive it with the booked class PDMR, can I then use the voucher to pay a class of low FDMR (BMW 3 Series, MB C-Class, Audi A4) and receive PDMR? Questions about questions. Greetings Mirco

Car hire (!) with 18 years abroad (Spain)
Dear car hire specialists, you will probably have to disappoint me as far as my hope of driving a car with 18 years of age abroad is concerned, but it is worth trying. The following: During summer holidays we will book a rental car. All previous research has shown that the minimum age for a rental car is 21 years (or higher). I am at the time almost 19 years old and then have more than one year of driving experience (BF17). rents, is it legal/insurance-technically legal that I drive it ? Does the minimum age refer only to the “renter”, to all “drivers” or only to a “responsible” who takes responsibility quasi in case of a damage ? I have not yet contacted the car rental companies, since I wanted to try my luck here first. Thank you for the help!

Car hire Spain // Vehicle categories Sixt
Hello, mid-April it should go for a few days to the Spanish coast to Malaga. In order to explore the surrounding area, a rental car is rented for the entire time (5 days). So far I have always booked my holiday car over Sixt, which I was very satisfied with. But, Sixt is of course always a little more expensive. Current offer of Sixt is ~ 150 €. So for me the first question is: Where is the difference between the classes MBMR and EBMR? At MBMR a Ford will be Ka as an example, with the EBMR a Peugeot 107 specified, which for me are actually in the same vehicle class?! But via “Cardelmar.de” can also be chosen cheaper providers, of which I have never heard anything before. Providers are e.g. Centauro, NizaCars or RecordGo. Does anyone have any experience with these providers? The smallest vehicle class, which would also be chosen, starts already at ~ 80 €. However, I am afraid, that you might be able to follow r pays, because the cheap providers get the money back in with possible damages. I am grateful for every tip!

Car hire in Mallorca with child seat
Hello together, we plan to fly to Mallorca with a toddler for a week at the beginning of June and need a rental car. So far we have almost always booked via Record Rent a Car. Has everything always worked smoothly, even if we were still pressed on the spot any additional insurances… This time, however, a child seat has to be ordered along with it. Is there any experience with which landlord you are on the safe side here? I have read that with the so-called Bi Llig providers who are often dirty seats. I would hate to put my child in a dirty seat for a whole week. Is there any experience about this with SIXT? I would be very happy about a few answers.

carsharing car wrongly refueled
Hello together, the following happened to me: On October 15th, I rented a car from a car sharing company and allegedly filled up a car instead of diesel – super petrol. This is evidenced by the tank receipt. I assume that there was a confusion at the gas station. At that time there was a lot of operation and I had to go back to the car, record the mileage – and again hire me. I drove on without any problems. On November 2nd I received a call from the car sharing sub The only solution I was offered was to sign a document that would oblige me to carry all future damages in the area of the engine and the vehicle. I understand that I would have a free letter to renew the car at my expense. On 12.11 – I received a letter from the lawyer of the car sharing company. In addition to the above information, I received a letter from the lawyer of the car sharing company. I will now also be offered to turn on an expert who will examine the car and then repair any damage at my expense. Furthermore, the letter states that the car was blocked immediately after the call on November 2nd, and that there will be a significant loss of revenue due to the blocking of the car. I then asked a friendly car sharing customer to check whether the Ford Focus could still be booked on the Internet. on 12.11.2015 from 17:00-17:30 o’clock was booked by the friendly car sharing customer. I then took photos of the vehicle and started the engine. Almost a month after my alleged wrong refuelling the vehicle is still in operation – apparently without any other incidents. A refuelling from 5.11.2015 shows that it was probably also in operation in the 45th KW. Now my questions: Can one still determine after such a long time at all if the car was wrongly refuelled rde? Wouldn’t the engine or parts of the fuel system have had to be noticeable for a long time in case I really had super fuelled instead of diesel? Why did the car sharing company leave the car in operation and apparently not even get a recommendation from a workshop/manufacturer? Thank you, I’m looking forward to your answers!

Enterprise Car Rental Ok ?
Hello, I notice when reading through here, which is reported almost only by SIXT and Co.. The Enterprise car rental is not mentioned anywhere. Seems hardly known, there are those in all of Germany. Why I notice this… I work there as a driver on 400€ basis. And I would like to know if, if there is rented, problems have arisen. As far as I know, our prices are always a bit cheaper than with the others. I hollow out the customers at home, and bring them also after the rental back home if it is desired. And, I try to make the vehicle condition so that I feel comfortable in it. Sure, I’m just a human being and also look at something. Be nice when you get a feedback.

AVIS – We’re supposed to pay for damage, although we didn’t do it!!! *SUPPORT*
Hello, we just have such an annoying case with AVIS… We rented a BMW at the airport in Munich to drive a weekend to Cologne. Of course, a personal handover by an employee did not take place. Since the car was parked in a dark underground garage, no obvious damage could be detected by us due to the external circumstances. However, when we returned the car to Munich after the weekend, there were already two(!) AVIS-Mita rbeiter ready to check the car for damage. Immediately you have noticed a scratch on the rim as well as a large rockfall on the bumper. We immediately noted on the handover log that this damage has not been caused by us. Honestly, if we had caused the damage, we would also pay it. But we do not pay 900 € for something that we did not cause… After AVIS has charged our credit card, we have the money like Since then we have been in constant correspondence with AVIS. We could name a total of 2 witnesses who can confirm that the damage has not been caused by us. Do we have chances against AVIS? Thank you for your help!!!
