  • Insurance car rental in Morocco

Hello dear biker, my dream holiday is at the door – but the good old problem outside the EU – the insurance cover! With my insurance it is like with almost all providers that the green insurance card does not apply to Morocco. Now of course I still need insurance cover for my holiday. There is probably a border policy… here I find however no further information on the net, and even the message can not help any further – does someone have a tip? ? Then there would be the Hamburg insurance company “Tourinsure” – but here the insurance costs a whole 208 Euro for a month with a lump sum of 500,000 Euro per damage event. Unfortunately, they do not offer a full or partial cascade protection for motorcycles at all. Now better about tourinsure than without insurance – but anyway – for every conceivable tip or experience value I am happy…

  • Travel tarpaulins – Tips

Hi there, I’m just planning a longer tour with my bandit for the first time. Since I’ve never done this before, I’m happy about a few tips! I’d like to go from Berlin to Augsburg, then further to Freiburg, and down to Bologna. And at the end everything is back again. What’s hard for me, lack of experience, is to plan the stages. On the one hand, I want to arrive at the finish line sometime, on the other hand, I don’t have a buck to drive on my naked 8 hours at piece 130 on the AB. How do I do this? Do you? Only country road? AB shares? How many km a day do you take? Does everything work out for the total length of the trip. Thank you for your input! Greetings Domme

  • Navigon Cruiser will be discontinued! No longer to buy!!!

If you were looking for a suitable Navi solution for your iPhone, you could find it at Navigon last year: Navigon Cruiser is the name of the solution. I followed up on it and bought the app three weeks ago (suitably for the start of the season). €59.99 for unlimited use. That makes me feel safe. But far from it! Navigon announced two weeks after my purchase that the further development and update of the app will be stopped. (https://www.navigon.com) B ereits purchased software can be used for another two years, then it’s finally over! Unlimited use by reason of the fact! Nix als Verrar.. ung! (To the lawyers here in the forum: Is this legal at all?) Conclusion: BUY ON NO FALL.

  • Tour to Lake Garda

Hi people, next week (KW 16) my wife and I want to make a tour with the motorcycle to Lake Garda. Start would be near Wuppertal. The route is planned without motorway to drive with a stopover near Stuttgart. There the route planner would send us roughly along and that is then also about half of the route. I would like to take the Brenner Pass over the Alps. Who knows about this region and gives me a few recommendations? t I would like to make as short but as beautiful as possible, therefore no highway. If someone can give me a tip for the between overnight I would be very grateful. Greetings

  • Motorbike tours alone, together, in the group?

I don’t travel on a motorcycle often, but I like it. No big things, so far always alone. I like it. Here at home, for smaller tours, I have to go to someone who rides with me. You’re not really fat, but you know each other, you know each other, you know each other. Compulsively. Similar machines, similar driving style. I like it too. Now we have a bigger tour together at the après-mopped coffee. For two or with a troupe. Loose. Not really concrete, more palavert. But one has already experienced differences, daily performance, overnight stay etc., one squats at times easily 12 hours on the dock, for the other not conceivable, one needs a bed, the other enough a tent. One needs tipping breaks, the other not. Nothing that really bothers. I am just as tolerant, sociable and sometimes unsociable, as calm and restless. Would interest me sometimes what you have done for experiences. Alone, for two, or in the group. Long and short Have you ever regretted driving on your own again? Finding buddies for life? Killing buddy and selling his kidneys?

  • Last sunbeams 2017 by motorcycle: Piedmont at the end of October

On the Feldberg in the Black Forest the first snow has fallen today. Nevertheless, at the end of the week we want to venture again the two-wheeled jump over the Alps, it attracts Piedmont, more precisely: the upper Italian lakes, even more precisely: Lake Maggiore. The Enduros stay at home, we use heavy, weather-resistant tourers, the destination is Verbania, hotel rooms are reserved, there we want to explore the area for three days. Tips and suggestions ?

  • Compact all-round hanger for motorcycle transport??

Hello together, I’m just thinking about whether I can use our trailer for a motorcycle. I’d like to have the fixed mounting of a rail with a rocker. The mopped: an XS 650, the old iron weighs 227kg and is over everything, i.e. with rear protective sheet, 217.5 cm long. The trailer: A Stema high loader (wheels under the loading surface), unbraked, GG. 750kg. And now it comes: Loading area 201 x 117 cm. Is this realistic or can you forget it from the beginning? A special motorcycle Hän This is not possible because the trailer is mostly used for general transports, a wider all-rounder for reasons of space in the garage unfortunately also not .. VG Abstoiber

  • Does anyone have experiences and tips for Sicily?

At our last regular table a motorcycle and big scooter tour to/from Sicily was proposed. A look at the topography of the island at first sight highly interesting expected. We imagine that the destination on Pentecost next year should be well to drive. What deterred is the wide access path and possibly bad road conditions and possibly ruthless Fiat drivers. Has someone experience with motorcycle rides on Sicily and with ferry connections there. Also information about accommodations would be helpful. Thank you already in advance for your opinions.

  • Travel report: the Vercors and the Col du Galibier

The Vercors mountain range, in the extreme west of the French Alps, looks like an oversized Trutzburg. A landscape with deep, rugged gorges and wild rock falls, widely branched cave systems and dreamy little villages. This difficult-to-reach mountain range with peaks up to 2,350m height can still only be explored today via narrow and bold roads. Only at the beginning of the 20th century the area was opened up with the help of sufficient dynamite. I In vertical rock walls galleries were blown up and some of the most spectacular mountain roads were created, such as the “Gorges de la Bourne” and the “Combe Laval” }>

  • Search Tips for Sardinia

“Good evening, everyone!” We probably want to go to Sardinia in 2014. It is not yet fixed where our domicile will be. The group can be strong 30 people. It would be possible for the overnight stay e.g. mobile homes like you can find them on camping sites or mountain huts like you can find them in the Alpine region. A bit away would not be bad – we want to bring music with us. Does anyone have a suggestion? This holiday is of course about driving. Is there anyone who has one or more tips? Directly accessible viewpoints are also asked. Museum visits are not so much. Hours of hikes also not. Which is the cheapest/best ferry option? Civitavecchia? Give your best! Thanks Q.
