Hello Biker, look for passengers to Romania in the summer of 2009. I have planned to visit the Danube Delta by bike, to swim in the black sea, to visit Dracula in his castle, to drink good wine (to be there) and to experience a lot. Tour length and precise planning is flexible. Come from Saxony, I am 43 years, while motorcycling solo, ride V-Strom 1000, also like to take the tent and the pad with you…… If anyone has planned such a trip, close ic I’d love to meet you too.

For the first time on tour – what equipment?
Hello together, at Fronleichnam it’s for the first time on a big tour to South Tyrol. I drive a 2005 V-Strom 650, have meanwhile bought me a pack roll and saddle bags, also a small tank backpack I would have. What else do you need? Which rain combi would be recommended? What do you take with you for visor / disc cleaning? Thanks for Tips! Greeting, Tobias

Trailers, even for the motorcycle?!
Hello everyone, I hope I’m in the right forum. If not sorry. I want to buy a car trailer which I would like to use to transport litter or sometimes building materials because I buy a house zz. Later I want to be able to transport with this car trailer also my motorcycle and that of my wife. Now the problem is that I only own driving licence class B so it must be a trailer up to MAX 750 kg. The second problem is of course the money. I had now thought of a hardware store trailer. Since there is usually the brand Stema: total weight 750kg payload 630kg outer dimensions (L x W x H) 292 x 150 x 87 box dimensions inside (L x W x H) 201 x 108 x 33 tyres (inch) 13 we come to my question would fit there 2 motorcycles? do you want other or better ideas? Money limit would be at 600€. thank you already in advance.

First multi-day excursion with Chopper – Beginner’s Questions…
Hello you! Since last year I have been the proud owner of a motorcycle driver’s license and a moped. Since I’m rather the Chopper type, it has become a Suzuki VL 800 Volusia… So far there have been only short trips and day trips. This year it should be a little longer trip. I feel like a long weekend, so 4-5 days. Long finish would be a motorcycle holiday later. For that I would like to get a travel enduro from Honda, BMW or something like that. n including suitcases & co. But since after a first sighting in the lower price segment 2500-300 euro are due, it is not possible for now. Plus the entire equipment – with the chopper I am currently with open helmet & co on the way… So, first use what you have. My idea is now on the chopper, which runs as a one-seater to mount a luggage carrier instead of the sociuspad. On it such a luggage roll and off it goes… I know everyone is different. But how big should the roll be . to be able to travel for 4-5 days. Since I don’t want to carry a folding chair, tent & co on the chopper, it’s more likely to stay in guesthouses… Do you have a tip for such a first trip? On the one hand just like iben written the size of the role, on the other hand possibly a book recommendation??? Thank you & you, Georg

Travel to Sicily – HOW and WO ??
Servus Biker, I drive to Sicily in 2006 and have no idea where I’m going best yet. Who of you has already driven the route from Lake Garda to Messina, or even part of it? I might need some tips. I’m going to have to drive alone because 5,500 km are too much for so many other bikers. Who doesn’t want motorways and no hotels is mostly alone. Grins! Maybe some nice suggestions come over for me. Gruss Ducatino PS: I I know me very well in Tyrol and in the Allgäu Alps (travel information). From Bavaria via Croatia to Athens and back via Naples I have already driven 6500 km. PSPS: Is this usual that a topic is blocked if it does not fit to “Motor-Talk”??????????????? These are nice actions. I better not let my mustard off. 🙁

Pyrenees Tour 2016
Hello, I would like to drive through the Pyrenees from east to west and back again in spring. I’m sure one or the other of you has already done this. So I wanted to know what experiences you’ve had there. I’m particularly interested in having booked the hotels from home or on site? On site would have the advantage for me that you could stay a little longer than planned in one place. What about private accommodation? Is this available in other countries? bleak number? If you would share your tips and experiences with me, I would be very grateful to you. Thank you maz080

Experience with motorcycle rentals abroad without a valid driver’s license
I know that in this thread a not quite legal topic is discussed. I am not interested in lectures. but for this I am interested in every input that offers me an added value. Thank you for your understanding Hello dear motor talker, I have been passionate about my Mokick Simson S51 since my registration in 2007. Last year I spent my semester abroad in India and discovered my passion for real motor bikes. Thanks to a theft my driving licence he I had previously considered the new plastic card on which it is not really possible for laymen to obtain the driving licence for class A, but with certain numbers which imply that one actually does not have a class A (I think the regulation concerns Trikes or something?). I once attached a picture to illustrate it. Anyway, the normal Indian could not notice this difference naturally and I made numerous trips with friends on 350s and 500 Royal Endfields. I am currently planning a similar tour with a good friend. India is not excluded here as a destination and there is still a lot to discover in this country. However, there are of course many other attractive destinations that may be a little easier to reach. My friend has his apparently (for 5 years). Now I wanted to ask if any of you have already made tours and was able to rent with the new FS motor bike. (b) Official police in relation to the new regulations of the Eu Fuehrerschein? I was asked in India once for the information numbers and simply said that they indicated a throttle on under 35kw for the next 2 years. Look forward to your answers. And as mentioned in the entrance please no instructions. I can’t do it at the moment. 1500€ for a motorcycle ticket affording apart from the irrelevance in the countries where it is taken away to us (and 12 years in part already drive). Greetings

Tour bike recommendations?
Hello, I’ve been driving a dominator for 5 years. Now I and my friend have gotten the desire to ride together. She has no moped driver license and does not want to do one. So So So my dominator fails here miserably, is with Sozius operation simply completely overwhelmed. So we did test drives. Of the test bikes we were best suited to the following bikes: Honda 650 CBF Bj 2014 Kawasaki 1400 GTR Bj 2008 BMW 1200 GS Bj 2013 or 2014? I think it’s a good idea for me to take a trip to the south. First of all it’s probably a maximum of 300 km easy distance until we’re in the mountains. If we both like it, we’ll probably want to ride more, so up to 800 km easy distance. For trips in the city we use the bike. So it looks like we’re going to drive mostly longer distances. That’s what makes me think of a better way to ride a bike. Since I am 1.76 m tall, most enduros are unfortunately also a bit too high for me. I don’t like to cushion the seat, because the seating comfort is important to me. I’m definitely not a sporty driver, I like to drive slower and look at the surroundings 🙂 Stand today is important to me: – comfortable suspension – comfortable suspension – good upright sitting position and sitting comfort for driver + passenger – handlebar not too far in front, I don’t like it in sporty Way to go forward and have to support myself on the arms – handy moped (the GTR is handy enough for me) – good wind protection – good screwdriving capability without a PC – VERY IMPORTANT – because I like to build myself and just hate to spend hundreds of teuros for something I can do myself. And especially with the tourer, the undressing of the panel should not increase the workshop costs insignificantly. – brand no matter – Chopper probably eliminates, since I do not suffer back pain at Choppern. get – ABS, whether integral, full-integral or classic I don’t know, so far could not decide which ABS system is the best for me. – Purchase value as much as possible below 8,000 euros, better below 5,000 euros. If my wishes can only be fulfilled on a bike for 10,000 or more, I would think again about the investment limit. Can you give me a recommendation?
