  • E63 BMW 6er as a everyday car

    Hello together, at the moment I drive 3 cars, as a daily car an e46 330i as a seasonal car no.1 a 350z as a seasonal vehicle no.2 an e63 M6 I am satisfied with all 3en, but for running costs I would like to reduce the fleet to 1 Alltaugsauto + the M6. Both the e46 330i (M-Package 2 + SMG) as well as the 350z(20inch, Bielstein suspension, Nvidia system + Sport Kats, Chip etc…) are great. The 3er is allerweltsfahrzeug, the 350z in the SOmmer in the dry The M6 is kept….only for what can I exchange 330i and 350z, which is just as suitable for everyday use and makes as much fun as the 330 and 350z? Thought there was an e63 645ci or 650ci….. The M6 is a KOstengrab, which I drive only about 4-5tkm in the summer, as everyday car is not so good. What do you think?

  • Long brake pedal path, who had this problem before?

    Hello dear MTler, My M6 E63 causes me grief after the installation of a Brembo GT brake system for 14 days. The brake pedal can always be pushed through before the braking effect starts. After the installation it was at about 1/4tel and 500 Km then 3/4tel until braking effect – but then extremely good, without reducing the brake pressure during the braking process. After the installation of the Brembo was aired 4 times with different methods. (1/4tel pedal path) I should then once a bissc This means that the main brake cylinder (Brembo) is changed – although the characteristic of the long pedal path could not be closed for a defective main BZ. Even with several “pumps” the pedal path does not change – so it is no longer possible to build up pressure. The brake power amplifier works perfectly, in the FS no error message. As expected after the installation and 6 I have used the dot 5.1 from Motul – that is, the brake fluid preferred by Brembo. I don’t know any more and have made the suggestion to change the hydro aggregate (2,900 €) – but that seems very unlikely – because it is “only” a distributor – if this would have been broken I would probably have rather different braking effects on the wheels.     Dear forum community, I bought a BMW 7 (G11) about three months ago. I’m very happy with this car, I bought it only because of personal conviction. I dropped the type designation, because I like the car, but it’s important to me understatement!     I think the topic was already there, but I can’t find any contribution to it. I’m thinking about getting a BMW 650 convertible. And this was the second model. My question is now, what is more meaningful or enough? A 650 Bj 2006,2.Hand with 150,000km for almost 16,000€ or one from 2008 with 112.000km, 3. Hand for 21,000€ ? Both look like I want. What would be more useful?

  • Engine N62 running restless! Need help

    Hello BMW municipality, I have a problem with my 645 E63 which has been discussed many times. Unfortunately, in every forum this is so that everyone helps but the one who got the help did not report when the problem has been solved to say what it really was. Now to my problem. The engine runs in a state of trouble. There have been many parts exchanged at BMW and also at another expert. Now to the parts that have been replaced. Ignition plugs, KGE, camshaft wheels, E xenter waves, differential pressure sensor, air mass meter and also a software update were carried out. Unfortunately, all without success. I had an error in the fault memory, the differential pressure sensor. After all repairs the error is almost always gone. Sometimes it comes again. BMW and also the other specialist (workshop manager at BMW 19 years) do not know any more. The engine runs always restless. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Speed fluctuations of about 30 revolutions. but you notice when the engine is running at idle of about 500 revolutions that it is not running quite calmly and vibrates (runs very rough). I hope you can help me.

    I’m not sure if it should be a 6er, since I have not driven yet.The design did not like me at the beginning of the series, funnyly the older the car the more speaks to me the design.   • Shelf life Motor 645ci, 650i; mileage

    Hello guys I have a 645ci with now just under 180000KM. What is it about the durability of the engines ordered ? With regard to the engine capacity the power is not very much, therefore it should actually last long. Problematic are the features like Vanos or Valvetronic. Could the owners please specify the KM stands + repairs. With mine was done in the last 3 years the following: -Differential at 145000KM (cookers in case of load changes) (Diff is used for manual switching s -Manual transmission at 155000KM (singing of synchronous rings, bearing damage) -Air mass meter at 158000KM (power loss) -Water pump at 170000KM (it has completely disassembled during driving) -Back guide handlebar at 178000KM My engine is actually running very well. According to compression testing, all cylinders are in the green area.

    Hi guys, I’d like to get a 6er and found two interesting vehicles, but the decision is not easy for me. However, I have to consider the 650i a bit, because so many warn of the known problems with the valve shaft seals and the water pipe. In addition, there is the opinion about SMG, which should also be problematic. The 630i is the facelift model with 272 HP, which should have some problems with the injectors. Perhaps one of you has had experience with both models. I personally tend to V8, because it is a V8 mega power and sound.
