Dear friends, I was taken two weeks ago. I received the report yesterday. Reperatur costs 40.000€ and the impairment 3.500€. Everything now runs through a lawyer. The car is built in 12/2019 and currently has 16,000 km down. In the report there is nothing of the replacement value, or has the evaluator not taken into account. Is this an economic total damage? Experiences 620d GT
Dear fellow forists, this year a new company car is coming up. Now that I’m touring my fourth 5th, I’m thinking about whether it’s not supposed to be a 6th GT. For reasons of the company car control, different engines than the 20d are not possible. However, I’ve been looking for reports from the 620d for quite some time and I haven’t found anything there except a Belgian side. I did a test drive – but there was a 630d. That’s not 100% comparison of course. bar. Who has a 620d and likes to share his experiences (especially, but not only, in terms of motorization)? Perhaps also compared to the G31, if possible? F12, interior lighting and exit lights retrofit LED (original?)
My 650ix convertible from 2013 has still installed old lights. If the lights have been converted to LED technology or if the latest F12s have also installed conventional light bulbs. I don’t like that at all, I can of course buy something on the free market, but would prefer a BMW solution (if there are any).

Problems with drive, VTG with winter tyres
Good morning, unfortunately an unpleasant event, what I would like to share with you. Well known was that I want to ride the dimensions 245/35 R20 + 275/30 R20 as winter bikes like in summer, with the Z Performance ZP.06, a picture I had already uploaded, BMW and TÜV technically everything not relevant, as approvals plus TÜV expert reports available. Now after 2 weeks there was during the acceleration, whereby completely whether from 30kM/h or 150kM/h is accelerated, a jerk, twitch and press, w The VTG is not compatible with the wheels, I should buy 18″. For me, this is not understandable, as everything is also released by BMW, this wheel size in the summer is delivered even as an original outfitter in the M-package 20″. Now I have the summer wheels on it again and there is no problem with the VTG, whereby the summer wheels have a completely 3-4mm profile, the winter 8mm (new). Annoying also, that I only 1,000€ f for tires, plus other costs like 2x wheel change, 2x force and tires mounted on rim, and I still drive around with summer flaps. Randnote: during the ride this morning on the work, the car showed “drive faults, please moderate continue”, does this have something to do with it? Since I have Premium Selection and don’t know what BMW wants to tell me, should I insist on getting a new VTG here? N63TUMotor, mixture to lean
Hello everyone, I own a BMW 650ix F06 with replacement engine, which has now run 16.000km. On the weekend I read out the error memory with Carly once, deleted and then I drove again a lap and read out the error memory, which has again shown the same again. The first error code is clear to me, because the engine had an increase in performance before it, but the others worry me. Basically the engine runs nice and quiet, only with the star he shrugs a bit, especially at the cold start. Has any of you ever had this and can tell me what it is about?

Experience with Chiptuning
Hello together. Has someone had experiences with a stage 1 chip tuning, preferably M850i. Can the engine idr be used if you have up to 100ps and 100NM more under the hood? How about the gearbox and a possible engine overload? There are many (probably serious) tuners far and wide. However, for example, Ac Schnitzer is far too expensive for me, as there are others who demand less even for more performance. I would be happy about experiences and reports and/or information!

6th Cabrio leaks
Hello all, I’m generally dissatisfied with the quality of the BMW 6s. From the entry strips leather seats… to the cover. Is that the thing that I have to watch every time I get into my car? (Selected shoes step on the entry strips, the leather is already worn out so much I should only get into my car with jogging hosen? Gearbox no longer switches clean, grinding/rassle noise from the lower range
Hello friends, To all first information about the vehicle: BMW F01 LCI 730D / 258 HP / 2012 For a short time ( some months ), my transmission is not so clean anymore. You notice the switching processes Strong and my body moves forward and back with every switching process. The car has currently 146,000 KM and is filled with gapless checkbook. After the transmission has started to switch so hard, we have replaced the transmission ÖL with filter from ZF, have driven 500 KM and have it again s amt filter changed. So that it gets really clean, because I am not a fan of gear flushes. After a long search, you could not determine exactly what it is. Was with the gear specialist, but he could not really help me and only adapted the values to me. Turned briefly OK and then again bad. Then I stood a few days ago at the traffic light (red ) and when it became green and I pressed on the accelerator, it really banged in the car. So really such a bang , that I thought someone was in the back of me, but I was alone at the traffic light. But then the car drove on quite normally. Couple of minutes later a very noticeable noise occurred as soon as the speed goes up. I loaded a video of the noise to it immediately with. I packed the car in the workshop on the lifting platform and determined the noise comes from the area between the engine and transmission. We wondered if it was with the bad switching of the gear it could be connected as well as with the bang and pondered whether it could be the converter who got you. Maybe there is someone here who has experienced this noise before and what can say about it. Here some more information, which might be relevant ( previous history ) In the summer of 2021, the turbocharger started to suck ÖL at about 138,000 KM and threw 2 liters in de particle filters. Immediately had turbochargers removed, particle filters also. Both general overhauls. Both velvet new seals installed again, then everything ran for a short time. After a few kilometers, the car stuttered at a constant speed of 70-80KMh. Determining: AGR valve broken. Expanded, original ordered from BMW, had it installed. ( Meisterwerkstatt did everything, not myself). Now the car ran well again. But then the engine started to stink after soot. The workshop said that it could be that the smell also comes from the turbo, since it also according to nem A We can stink for a while?! Almost 5,000 KM so continued, smell still there again Back to the workshop, suction bridge fully rusted, clogged. Directly new ordered, replaced. Car picked up, drove out, no 10 KM, smells it after burnt oil. The next day again to the workshop, valve cover seal loses ÖL and drips it on the exhaust. Valve cover seal replaced. While the lid had been dismantled, one could find that the ÖL in the engine totally muddys Although it wasn’t long ago that it was changed, especially after the turbocharger was removed and installed. Thus Liqui Moly used engine flushing and in the stand rinsed and changed again. Car 150 KM driven, while the ÖL indicator was observed. ÖL became less, engine stinks again after ÖL. Again to the workshop, seals of the ÖL filter housing lose ÖL, thus also replaced. So, now it finally loses no ÖL more. but for that it did on the same day, when I made it out of the factory I would be very grateful if you could say something about it. Thank you very much.
