Good evening dear BMW lovers! I know… In Germany people don’t like to talk about their salary or how they finance expensive things. Nevertheless, I dare to try and ask how can you afford a BMW M6? I don’t need to worry about it because I’m only 18 years old and I’m still full of stress in my Abitur. Nevertheless, I have to study construction engineering before later and then get a BMW M6 later. I would be happy if I had a few reports about e our funding could read with the M6! MfG

E64 as a summer vehicle
Hello, after I sold my BMW F20 and found a replacement for it, I also sold my motorcycle in the last few days. Instead of the motorcycle I would like to have a pure summer vehicle, for nice days. Something with a nice engine – V8 – and what you don’t see so often on the road. A beautiful, timeless elegant and well motorized convertible. At Mercedes I landed at the SL 500, R230, and stayed stuck. Of course also its weak points, ABC chassis, electronics etc. By chance I have now come across an E64, convertible. Equipped with the 650i engine (EZ 2006) with automatic transmission. Now you can read a lot of good, but also “much” negative about it. Is similar with the MB SL 500, R230. Is the 650i a motor, which should be avoided in principle, as a summer vehicle? Of course, I don’t want to stand in the workshop every week and pay the master personally monthly π A certain risk, respectively good care and W artung, is of course known to me. However, I also have it with the SL 500. I’m just trying to find out if the engine is “good.” The vehicle would be well maintained and at first glance in a well-kept condition. I have and will of course still read through a number of 650i purchase advice threads, but would like to hear your current experience in person again.

Why does the same engine consume much more fuel in the 630i than 330i, with only 189Kg weight difference?
Since I have chosen a N53 – 30i engine, I can choose between the following carts: 330i from 2006/7 – (1.59 tons) 530i from 2006/7 – (1.62 tons) 630i from 2004 – (1.795 tons) But now the 330i Touring should swallow 9.6 liters inside and the 630i 14.2 liters… First of all – is the consumption right at all? And if so, how does it come to such a difference with less than 200 kg difference? Thicker air conditioning and stereo alone can’t be, od him?

sign recognition
Hello, I had another navi or infotainment installed. (From Lithuania) After I noticed that it did not fit my car I expanded it and installed my old one. After that the sign recognition shows me only a white 4 corner. And does not recognize the signs anymore. By the way, my navi doesn’t work and my Bluetooth. Can it do with it? But before that it does not work it can’t be because of it. Buy me now a German infotaiment yard This is fixed! Do you have any tips on what it can still be? Thank you very much

E31 or C216 (Mercedes)
Hello friends, I would like to buy one of the two vehicles as a hobby. It would be a third car, but it would be used as a “daily driver” in the summer. In terms of engine technology I tend to the 8 cylinder. At the C216 it should be one of the first years of construction. I want only one suction engine. That, the whole subjective is clear. I like them both. How is the spare parts supply of the models? I have informed myself a lot about the E31. What I took with me is a rather maue and expensive spare parts supply. BMW 650i, 2007, 367 hp, N62 engine, error 0029ED and 0029EE
Hello dear six-piece community, I own a nice 650i from the year 07 with the N62 engine. For about 3 months the problem has occurred that the engine had strong speed fluctuations and went out afterwards. The solution was to read out the error with an OBD plug and delete it. I then changed the air mass meter. However, the problem did not disappear. Next I changed the membranes of the crankcase ventilation. The speed fluctuations are gone and the engine runs The following errors are stored in the memory: 0029ED: DME: mixture adaptation, lower speed range 0029EE: mixture adaptation2, lower speed range The car is running normally. 730ld rain clasps not possible
Ladies and gentlemen. It’s about a BMW 7 G12 Bj.2018 August. Like from the bright sky the message on the cockpit “rainlocks are not possible”. Then I got the message Gegoogelt and got out that the message has to do with the sunroof. Well then of course I have to try to drive back and forth at my panoramic roof. It always went a few mm on but no more. Sunshade in front of the sunroof did not move at all and was closed. If I kept on standing on the roof but when I have closed and reopened, then it was again a few mm on drive but still not closed. If I tried several times around, my sunroof was at some point half open. Sunroof still closed. As I said before, I tried to re-learn and adjust the whole thing several times, by pressing the button 15 down to the top. But only the sunroof from the rear part of the panoramaroof’s ha t adjusted at the front is nothing at all. Now I was standing there with a half-open roof. Half year after the full performance now thought that. At the end of the had been that I drove directly to the office the car went to the tester, and see it is a software problem. I got away with 384β¬. With a car of 138 thousand the whole is usefully embarrassing. The car once had a undervoltage because it was long standing. Supposedly put it on it. What I find totally ridiculous . He still said “if it would have been a hardware problem I would have gotten full courage. I think I’ll still have my fun with this car.

Oil filter foot must be replaced during an oil change
Good evening, I need your help or some advice on how to proceed. I delivered my BMW G32 640i to the friendly one today to have an oil service performed. About 1 hour before the pick up, I received a call that the oil filter foot has to be changed. As the mechanic told me, the oil filter is broken off and stuck. The thing popping out is too risky and they wouldn’t take any liability for it. As only at the first oil service, mine has already run 122tsd km. That means, it is not the first oil change. BMW says to me now, since the oil filter where was installed, is an accessory part and not an original part, I have to pay for everything. Estimate for the new oil filter foot with insert:1800,-. What I ask myself is, even if there is now an accessory part installed, an old oil filter was mined. Logically, then the point is: at the first oil service, the oil filter remains stuck They will now try to find a solution until Monday and ask BMW if they will be able to meet the requirements (which is not believed because of the accessory part). I expect a specialist workshop from BMW that the costs of the reperature will be taken over. In the end, I can’t help the filter to break down when it is expanded.. How do you see the whole thing? G15 chassis modification
Does anyone have any experience with track broadening at the G14/G15? I am primarily concerned with the optics and I want to prevent that there is a loss of driving behaviour due to track broadening – for example, with the rear wheel steering. X Drive is very sensitive and I imagine that this is also true for rear axle steering. Who has practical experience with lowering? My vehicle has the Adaptive suspension professional and I wonder if this is possible with a lowering harmonizes and what degree of comfort loss I will experience if necessary during a lowering.
