  • BMW 6 Series 2006 or from 2008?

    I think the topic was already there, but I can’t find any contribution to it. I’m thinking about getting a BMW 650 convertible. And this was the second model. My question is now, what is more meaningful or enough? A 650 Bj 2006,2.Hand with 150,000km for almost 16,000€ or one from 2008 with 112.000km, 3. Hand for 21,000€ ? Both look like I want. What would be more useful?

  • Engine N62 running restless! Need help

    Hello BMW municipality, I have a problem with my 645 E63 which has been discussed many times. Unfortunately, in every forum this is so that everyone helps but the one who got the help did not report when the problem has been solved to say what it really was. Now to my problem. The engine runs in a state of trouble. There have been many parts exchanged at BMW and also at another expert. Now to the parts that have been replaced. Ignition plugs, KGE, camshaft wheels, E xenter waves, differential pressure sensor, air mass meter and also a software update were carried out. Unfortunately, all without success. I had an error in the fault memory, the differential pressure sensor. After all repairs the error is almost always gone. Sometimes it comes again. BMW and also the other specialist (workshop manager at BMW 19 years) do not know any more. The engine runs always restless. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Speed fluctuations of about 30 revolutions. but you notice when the engine is running at idle of about 500 revolutions that it is not running quite calmly and vibrates (runs very rough). I hope you can help me.

Does anyone possibly have the voice control voice commands? Mainly for navigation. You say any target input ( location ) and it only comes out chewy, what you don’t understand at all, so quiet. Is there an erasure program or something like that? 4. small blue lights next to the tachometer, quite right in the corner, what this has to mean. It also goes with when I make high-light on.     I’m not sure if it should be a 6er, since I have not driven yet.The design did not like me at the beginning of the series, funnyly the older the car the more speaks to me the design.     Hello guys I have a 645ci with now just under 180000KM. What is it about the durability of the engines ordered ? With regard to the engine capacity the power is not very much, therefore it should actually last long. Problematic are the features like Vanos or Valvetronic. Could the owners please specify the KM stands + repairs. With mine was done in the last 3 years the following: -Differential at 145000KM (cookers in case of load changes) (Diff is used for manual switching s -Manual transmission at 155000KM (singing of synchronous rings, bearing damage) -Air mass meter at 158000KM (power loss) -Water pump at 170000KM (it has completely disassembled during driving) -Back guide handlebar at 178000KM My engine is actually running very well. According to compression testing, all cylinders are in the green area.

    Hi guys, I’d like to get a 6er and found two interesting vehicles, but the decision is not easy for me. However, I have to consider the 650i a bit, because so many warn of the known problems with the valve shaft seals and the water pipe. In addition, there is the opinion about SMG, which should also be problematic. The 630i is the facelift model with 272 HP, which should have some problems with the injectors. I ch knows that these topics have been addressed many times in other threads, but I would like to hear your opinion in the direct comparison of the two above mentioned models. Perhaps one of you has had experience with both models. I personally tend to V8, because it is a V8 mega power and sound. But I am afraid because of the possible costs that might come on one regarding repair, since after the purchase for such things would be for the first time max. 1.500 euros left. Ps. rides a lot short distance and In addition, I would like to know how it is with a child seat in the back, because of my 2 year old daughter, because I also want to take longer family trips with the vehicle.

  • BMW 645ci Gearbox problems (automatics)

    Hello, I have the following problem with my BMW 645ci year 2004 with 95000 km. In the KALTEN condition especially now in the winter the transmission switches at constant speed, so at 80 up and down as it likes and often (not always) after about 3 min. the message Dynamic Drive fails. When I then drive the car warm and restart everything has disappeared. The transmission switches gently and the message is also gone. Has since already had experience or has an Ahn I’m asking for help.

  • Two questions about the 640d: xDrive useful? AHK/bicycle carrier possible or not?

    Hello BMW-640 experts. I put my two questions together, hope that’s OK… At the beginning of next year I want to buy the BMW 640d Coupe, but I’m not sure if it’s going to be with xDrive or not. Since I often go skiing in the Alps in winter, that would certainly be a clear YES for xDrive. However, I usually travel on highways, federal and main roads, which are mostly well cleared. Asking at various BMW dealers goes totally apart, the One me nt in winter xDrive is almost indispensable, the other means “you absolutely don’t need” … depending on which 640 they just have in the assortment and want to get rid of… (so anyway my impression) How are your practical experiences? Are there clear criteria for a decision pro/contra xDrive? Test drives, especially in snow and icy conditions are planned for this winter. However, I would already be interested in “real” practical experiences with/without xDrive in advance. The second question g I don’t want to pull a trailer, but I can transport at least 2 bicycles. AHK would be the first choice because I already have a Thule carrier for AHK assembly. But I’m also satisfied with a BMW own carrier system… there are only two trekking wheels to fit on it. Therefore specifically asked: Can you build an AHK on a 640d (afterward)? Bzw. Are there bicycle carrier systems from BMW accessories that fit to a 640D (xDrive)? Thank you very much in advance!
