  • General opinion on the 6er Coupe 3 doory

    Hello, this thread is all about general questions, please don’t blame me, I just want to get an insight and who likes to comment. My first car, which I drove for almost 10 years, was an E36 Compact 318ti… I had to sell this one at the beginning of 2019. I had the opportunity to switch to a 3 or A4 for example… but my 1996 Compact purred like a kitten, was always loyal to me and I told myself when I replaced it. n should, then with a “wow” vehicle. In October I want to get a vehicle… I am 29 and go to the 30, you can treat yourself to something 🙂 In the top 3 came a CLA (not the completely new model), an E Coupé (currently ) as well as a 6er Coupe 3 tusty (currently ) The hint with 3 tusty because I entered on google 6er coupe 3 doory and there nevertheless only 4 doors appeared. I think the CLA would be the cheapest, 6er Coupe and E Coupe teur it and at the same price level. It is important to me that the vehicle should optically give something, in a certain way have a “wow effect” (which you don’t get to see at every third crossing, which would clearly speak for the 6th) and of course should also be pleasant in terms of technology and comfort. I drove without an accident for 10 years, so I know how to move a car. 3 Doory, because I am single and I like the look better there. I am also no one who constantly changing his car… I would easily drive it for at least 4 years. It should not be new, but used with relatively little KM. What is your opinion about the 6 Series Coupe? Also with regard to the other two vehicles ?   • BMW M6 E63/64 as a everyday vehicle?

    Hello, I plan to fulfill a dream in the foreseeable future and put an M6 V10 in the garage. I intend to use it as a daily vehicle (drive only about 20 km a day) but I would like to use it all year round. Now I have read a lot about the SMG which should make problems, of storage shells that should be exchanged etc. As far as winter operations are concerned, I have read that it should be almost impossible to move the M6 with snow and ice etc. serdem I read that the V10 should be relatively vulnerable as such… Alternatively, an AMG might still be conceivable, but the dream is and remains the V10. What are the opinions here? M6 as a everyday vehicle (without 2 vehicles) or rather fingers away? Budget is 30 – 35 k.

  • Cabrio in hibernation

    Hello, I just got information from different internet sources, how to get my convertible with season mark (03-10) over the winter. There is a dry single garage, but without electricity available. Here’s my plan: – Car washed and parked with proper wax layer – Cover cleaned and treated with impregner – Window open a gap – Tyre pressure at 3-3.5 bar – 1x per month turn a short lap in the garage yard in dry weather – Tank only 1/4 vo ll, so that the additives sold over the winter are mixed again during full refuelling in spring – granules for dehumidification in the garage Now I only need for you battery for voltage maintenance. Unfortunately, there is no power outlet on site. It would be possible to use a second identical battery with expansion/change after 2 months and charging at home. So I should come well over you 4-5 months. But how does the car behave when changing batteries quickly? update settings (e.g. memory seats, radio) lost or must also ECUs be re-learned (if necessary even in the workshop)?   • “Surren” from the rear axle (?)

    My M850i G14, 2022, ca. 35TKM yesterday made buzzing noises on the motorway in the area from approx. 100 km/h. Sounds like it came from the rear axle. At least not from the front area. Surren was independent of speed. Under approx. 90 km/h it has disappeared again. Will ask BMW next week. But does anyone have any idea what it might be?

  • Corrosion on the hoses under the throttle valve

    Hello together, I own a BMW 650i with the N62 engine with 367hp. In another thread I describe the problems I have with the engine. Today I removed the air filter box, crankcase ventilation, tank ventilation valve and throttle valve to examine these parts closely and to clean them if necessary. When removing the throttle flap, I noticed that under/behind the throttle flap a hose connection is Corrided. Can anyone assess why there is corrision down there and if this could explain my problems (motor emergency, speed fluctuations etc.)? Thank you for your help and VG

  • BMW M8 opinions

    Hello, How do you find the M8? I already addressed the topic in another post last night, but I would be interested in opinions about the vehicle. I find the new M4 super from the sound/exterior, but for my taste I have always been a big fan of the V8 engine. But sound-wise I am not a big fan of the S63 models. I have to say that Mercedes or Audi have the much more beautiful sound from work. For me personally this is already a Kri In terms of design, it’s the most brutal BMW they’ve put on the market so far. Unfortunately, only the sound doesn’t convince me. If you look at the 8 market, then the difference between the factory price and e.g. 8 months old model is indeed madness. Yesterday only scrambled again by mobile, there are sold from 03/2023 with 6000 km of full equipment for 130,000. So about 70-80 thousand in value loss in not even 1 year. What’s lazy about the car? Just often b You can’t even see the car, so at least it’s the case with me. I’ve only seen the model 1-2 times in the wild.
