  • Swap a three-man who hasn’t paid off for a seven-man?

    I picked up a three-piece from an official BMW dealer and wanted to use it now as a payment for a seven-piece. The car is not fully paid off yet. Must be paid for another 1 year. Can you just give the three-piece as a down payment for the seven-piece or are there any problems because the loan agreement is still running? I had received the credit from the BMW Bank. If I now get a seven-piece from another authorized BMW dealer, there should be no problems with the three-piece than on to trade for the 7s, right? Has any of you already gained experience with it?     Hello guys, I’ve been interested in the M760Li for a long time and have been following the prices for about 2 years. I couldn’t fix any further price loss over this period. The prices have remained the same – at least for the Vorfacelift models. The Facelift still suffers greatly from a loss of value and with this over-dimensone radiator grill I don’t like it anyway. If only a Vorfacelift! Do you think that the vehicles will get better in the longer term? mean the 2016-2019 Vorfacelift first generation, still with V12 (will there be no more) and generally rather rarely should be quite good preparation or not?   • E60 Coolant sensor Dimensions of sealing ring and sealing return hose on the cooler

    Hello together On my son’s 5s either the seal ring of the coolant sensor or the seal of the return hose is minimal leaking. Could I not locate exactly yet. Does anyone know the size of the seal ring of the sensor? I don’t see how to change the complete sensor for a 5ct O-ring. On the old Z4 it was 10×3. Maybe it’s the same with the E60. How are the return hoses fixed to the cooler? Are they only plugged on and there possibly also an O-ring?

  • Workshop/expert for N62B44 in the north searched

    Hello BMW Gemeinde my car (e61, 545i, 2004) has been standing in the workshop for 6 weeks with too low oil pressure. This has to do with the fact that the workshop, like almost everyone in my area, has hardly any time, on the other hand, I believe that they do not dare to do so. At the bottom where the oil pressure switch is sitting, I have cold 2 bar, warm by 0.5, which is unfortunately far too little. The check valves have already been seen. In addition, the lower oil tank has been removed, where the gentlemen on The oil filter also had holes! and perhaps worst, there were silver and copper-colored chips to be found. So, what to do now? Selling with engine damage? Or is there perhaps a workshop/engine repairer in the north that someone can recommend? My current workshop calculates alone for de- and assembly to get to the oil pump 1000-150€.   • F06 Alarm system does not hit a test

    Hello, I have installed an alarm system from BMW ex factory (S302 alarm system incl. S322 comfort access) at my BMW F06 and wanted to test what happens if the car is locked by remote control and I take the remote control out of reach (about 15 meters) and then try to unlock the car with the normal key from the remote control. That would actually be a scenario like it would be done with a decoder key. To my astonishment, however, did not happen at all. ts. I was able to unlock the door and put myself in the car. The alarm system that had been flashing red before (rear mirror) stopped flashing, so it was disabled. How can that be? Shouldn’t the alarm system go off?
