  • M6 Competition Gran Coupe / tyre recommendation

    Hello Community, for my BMW M6 Competition (305 km/h peak) I need tyres with the following dimensions: Front axle: 265/35ZR20 99Y Rear axle: 295/30ZR20 101Y Currently Pirelli P Zero tyres are installed. Now I swung between “Pirelli P Zero (PZ4?)” and “Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (LS?)”.Which one can recommend? Other suggestions are of course welcome.Wish to select tyres that offer as high a traction as possible, whether the Pirellis can do everything in this discipline. I would, however, like to doubt it as a non-connoisseur.

  • Heaters as preheater does not work

    Moin people, I have several problems with coding the preheater at the 730d Bj 2001 and hope you can help me. You should change the following values in the NCS: IKE: Preheater active IHKA: Additional water pump active Stand-heuzung_Concept sh_high_without_lock valve IKE is displayed in the NCS. I don’t have IHKA. I have IHK, instead of IHKA. What does that mean? In the IKE I have a preheater from non_active, on active. In the IHK I also have additional water pump active. The entry Standheuzung_Concept sh_high_without_lock valve is not available. For this there is the entry Standheuzung_Konzept sh_high_without_lock valve. For this there is again in the IHK the entry Standheuzung not_aktiv. So after I have active stand heating(IKE) and additional water pump active (IHK) coded, is also shown to me Standheizung in the display 16:9. There are: time 1, time 2 and direct operation. If I click on direct operation, the hook goes out immediately again and nothing happens. Then I have set a time and waited. The red lamp f ür SH lights up all the time, as it must be. But when the set time is reached, the red lamp goes off and nothing happens again. No noise comes, just nothing. Can you help me there somehow? Do I still have to put on active in the IHK heater? Or where is the error? fuses from the SH are ok. Tank is half full and the battery is new and charged. Vehicle is an e38 bj 2001 730d 193 hp. Greetings Mark

    A hello to everyone And again a proplem with my BMW 740i f01 I changed the hose air intake a short time ago from Turbo .. was really mega a lot of work. 2 days later I also changed the KGE allso the pcv valve for an upgrade valve, looks really horny is made of aluminum not so cheap plastic Well is all that funny but that he now always smokes when I charge pressure and it smells like burnt oil .But did not find any leak. Alls I get the Pcv valve I’ve seen that the engine room with oil is dirty all so only cylinder 1 because the old pcv valve was defective and it was pushed out by the kges (tube) . I have wiped it out a little bit but think times when the head gets really warm come the alley or ? But if I drive without charge pressure it doesn’t stink . What funny is it comes oily smoke through the ventilation has an idea has really no plan anymore what I should do with this drecks box hardly have a pro p solved comes the other. I am grateful for every tip. Vdd was also exchanged 3 weeks ago. Please excuse my German and spelling.

I also have the following problem: If the car is standing longer than a day, it starts badly and takes about a minute until it runs round.     Hello together. My 850er has a service contract and was 2 weeks ago to the service (oil change). When I went to pick up the service consultant was not there and there was basically nothing to talk about. However, I have no information about what was done at all. I got a text message with a link that did not work. In BC the oil and filter change is documented, but there are still other things like brake lining thickness, tire wear etc. The only thing I noticed is I was not particularly amused. I have already called 2 times and had a call back, but nothing is happening. My BMW workshop is on the best way to say goodbye to my regular dealer. How is it normal, usual with the service? I always like to have something in my hand (or as a PDF). That starts with the sale and possibly goes with a sales contract. safety case further – then you have racing to get the documents.

  • Bmw 730d 2006bj Transmission and electrical problems

    HI ZUSAMMEN, after a long consideration I decided to look for help for my patient BMW 730d 2006 bj in the forum. It started with a jerking during the ride and ended with a complete overhaul of the gearbox this was made the jerking was standing so we have made the differential, distributor gearbox plus seals bearings also new however this is beating what occurs after about 30min driving as soon as the transmission oil is warm. after all the repair I made a deep diagnosis and found that the gear control unit has no contact like other 10 things I read on DDE EGS DSC SIM MOST ARS CIM PM WIM TMFA WZBF TMFAH PDC HKL SMFA what I understand but just ned the car is running it’s going great switches well up to what happens after 30min I know just ned more try to check the electronics somehow first checked the battery with running motor we are at 14.70v and turned off engine we are at 12.25 tomorrow morning fair before I start again and see how much he has then. my question would have been known by someone who had had this problem someone who can’t get it all recorded but still the car is running and not shown in the board system I apologize now already for because giant text am new here.

  • M850i Cabrio – Sport+ mode / manual flap control / sound

    Hello together, is the flap in the exhaust in the Sport+ mode DUERHAFT open, or does this still adjust to speed etc. and opens only partially? If that were so, so permanently open, then manual flap controls like ASR etc would be completely meaningless. Operating permission goes flute for nothing and they do nothing else than the SPORT+ mode. Does anyone have a m850 (cabrio) and a manual flap control installed? Has the sound improved thereby? If in the Sport+ mode the Kl I have my 850er convertible now since July and I miss my Mustang GT 5.0 more and more. That was a sound, I had to grin every time I drive. In the BMW with 530 hp I always catch myself as I push on Sport+ and switch to something to hear… an absolute shame. As wonderful as the car drives itself and no matter how beautiful the look, without sound the nic ht my (dream) car. Has anyone found a halfway legal way to optimize the sound experience?
