  • Motor oil for M???

Have a question, since I had my M Coupe the first time after the purchase at the oil change. There was then everywhere that one filled a 10W60 of MOBIL. Now my question, whether this is the right one? Here was written earlier about that only the Castrol TWS 10W60 was approved for the M engines, even the Castrol RS 10W60 did not have an “official” approval from BMW for the M ́s. Does anyone have experience there? I was especially at a BMW dealer also because of the Gara ntie (EuroPlus). Btw, have also the impression that he consumes more at the moment, but that can also deceive, because I drive a lot of short distance. With thanks for a good advice, from Basel greets everyone, Reinhard

  • Who has experience with a BMW Z3 Roadster?

Hello guys, I would like to buy myself a BMW Z3 M Roadster next summer (Bj. 98, 99 or 2000).Does anyone have this vehicle or any other Z3 experience? How many extra-scheduled workshop stays is the average? And will the artificial roof keep tight in heavy rain? Would you support or advise my decision to purchase a Z3 M Roadster? As an alternative I would take a Honda S 2000 Dear Greetings Gerhard

  • Dog in Z4

Has any of you ever transported a dog in the Z4? The standard solution would of course be a harness for the Pfiffi and then you strap it onto the passenger seat. But even with a blanket on the seat, the danger is quite great that the claws leave traces on the leather. Other possibility: the Möp must somehow be fastened in the passenger footroom, namely so that he can move as little as possible towards the seat and driver side. Do you have a solution? After all, it’s about a German shorthair, so a medium-sized hunting dog and no dachshund or something. I’m just tired of switching to the VW when I take the dog with me… Greetings, Jan

  • Nu ises happens – kabudd…

On Monday evening I started from Frankfurt towards Paderborn. About 30 km before Padervborn I noticed a quiet “knocking” but didn’t know where it came from. Shortly before the finish I thought that someone had thrown a wrench into the engine… I have it here in Paderborn in the workshop, something should be broken with the valves, something… Well, lucky that I have EURO-PLUS… So far everything is going well… Let’s see if I can get back to R by the weekend. I hope it’s nothing too wild… my poor QP…

  • OT: new 1 euro jobs

I just read it in the picture .. the new 1-Euro jobs for the long-term unemployed … here my favourites of the picture list: “Shopping helpers” Imagine that you can not only borrow shopping carts for one euro in front of the supermarket, but that there is a row of chained shopping helpers next door, which you can rent for one euro. Super idea, you don’t have to push the car anymore and you don’t need to put the goods on the tape anymore. That’s what they’ve done well. ht *gg* “Bus stop supervisor” Yes, horny – at every bus stop there is a bus stop supervisor in the future and helps mothers with their prams to get on board … also not bad 🙂 “Helpsknöllchenschreiber” Also cool – finally the politesses do not need to be puffed up personally, but can push their personal helpknöllchenschreiber forward to it. “Homeless caregiver” Also great – every homeless person gets a homeless person who takes care of him – in return k … yes, of course – it rains so rarely in Germany and enough signs we would also have *g* … I think that picture has still forgotten some professions: “Kiosk beer bottle opener” “Parkbankwärmer” “Footwalker zone animator” mmh … in common? … well, picture has started *show on Bild.de* Greeting, Jokin

  • Z4 New motorization

Hi Zettis, since I’m about to get a new Z4 3.0i SMG (currently I’m driving a Honda S2000), the question arises whether I should wait for the new 3-litre engine, which is already available from September in the 6’er and next year in the new 3’er. Does anyone of you know when the “new” will be about the release date or does someone get even more internal BMW information about the release date? Thanks already in advance, Pepe

  • New here – and already a question

Hello to each other, would like to introduce myself briefly. I have a Z4 2.5i titanium silver, 17″ turbine rims, leather black, electr. cover. It was a day registration with 14 km. Meanwhile I have 1400 km on ́m tacho. I had the first and hopefully last breakdown at 760 km. Total failure on the highway. Nothing went out. Engine, no servo support. Could just save me on the side stripes. Cause: sensor on the camshaft defective. No matter. It really is a t You don’t believe how many detours there are to get home. From 15 minutes have already become 45 minutes. That can certainly be increased. Was ́ne long introduction. I would like to ask a question to the round: If the answer should stand somewhere, please don ́t stone, but give me a little hint. I don ́t get a straight run. I always have to correct. I move the steering wheel in the millimete I was already in the workshop, but they said it was all right. Do I just feel that way or is the steering really so sensitive? Or is something wrong with the steering. Inquiring greetings – Siggi

  • Aero package Z4

Hello together, I would like to buy the original Aero package (front apron, side skirt, rear apron), it can get new for € 700,- painted. Does any of you have this installed? Experiences? Is it possible to continue using PDC (I only know different version with/without Xenon), then you have to drill the holes for the sensors yourself? Can the installation be done yourself or better at ? cost? I am grateful for every info, ka_ro
