Hello, today I mounted the long planned white turn signals (page + rear) on it (on the Z4)! It’s really easy! Now it goes on… I wanted to lower my zetti a little bit, because it is not very good for me despite the M-sports-drive. What can you recommend me there? P.S: Have the 18 inch on it!

Slices up or down?
Dear community, today is a completely nonsense, but nevertheless a wurming question of style: I have seen in the last few days constantly driving roadsters in Switzerland, but they had the windows above. Is that allowed? I mean no and have three reasons: First: Are we men or women? Second: If I am already driving openly, I want to have some air, otherwise I would have been able to buy a Targa. Third: Are we men or women? Greetings, Jan 🙂

Date proposals for the 2nd Z meeting
hello people, as was already mentioned on 29.05, we will maybe end juli again together. the next meeting was planned to be arranged over two days. for this I looked through the wine festival calendar today and selected the two best dates. the dates during the 24-25.07 or the 31.7-1.08. at these two weekends we would have really great wine festivals to choose from in the evening to enjoy the one or other glass (wine) 😉 so people, then please info who can when, or whether we need to find an alternate date. until then gruss oli

@ all I plan to have the navigation system professionally retrofitted at my ZZZ. Maybe someone can tell me where I can get the corresponding operating instructions? I have already been looking on the BMW page and on Jokin ́s homepage. But I didn ́t find it here. Thank you and many regards Elsa

Record: 10min. Permanent full gas
Hi together, that hasn’t happened to me yet. In the night from Sa on So I was on an unlimited, 3-track almost completely empty AB shortly before 3. It was so empty that I really could drive at least 10 minutes (estimated it was more) full throttle. Without having to lug once. Really crazy. Tacho showed mostly 240. Speed was all the time slightly below 6500 in the red-tipped area. But that didn’t matter to me. Think that the motors could put away n. For this he has also allowed himself a nice sip. My average consumption from half a year has increased in the 10-15 minutes by 0.5l! But because of it you can no longer drive fast nowadays. gruß sapos

The late “beep” when you’re wearing without belts
Hello municipality, After 3 weeks Z4 I am very excited about this vehicle. What just bothers me is the annoying “beep” “beep” “beep” when driving without belts. My BMW dealer was of the opinion that there is no way to turn off the “beep” or rather BMW Munich does not allow that. He could remove the “beeper” the highest, but this is not a solution (in my opinion). I just ask myself, does that have to be? Maybe for the Americans, who write all 20 times, but for Euro pa? Finally, I know what happens in a crash when I’m not strapped. It’s just annoying if I have to repark or drive fast 300m, I’m sure I won’t strap on. If anyone knows a solution… Gruss desmo

Tank contents
I’ve had a Z4 for a few weeks but I have the feeling I don’t get the tank completely full or the display of the on-board computer is not right at all. I have observed the following several times: 1. If I fill up, really until nothing goes on (Zapgun shuts off very often anyway, even if the tank is still empty, the tank trunk always has to pull out a piece, then it is apparently full, since the tank then already flooded ) and the cut consumption, the daily kilometer counter on After a certain time, the on-board computer shows me a consumption of 10l/100km and a range of approx. 500km although I drove only 10km. With a tank capacity of 55l this does not fit at all. If I drive the tank then empty, the range decreases disproportionately to the average consumption (e.g. with driven 360km and further constant 10l/100km “range 100km”, does not adapt again) then also the yellow reserve light goes on. If I then refuel at 440km and a r range of still 30km (at 10l/100km),because I’m afraid the tank is empty, I get only 49 l in the tank because it floods then. If I calculate so, I then consumed at 440km 49l which corresponds to a consumption of 11,1l/100km. I just filled up to the overflow, drive one km, display shows 8l/100km, range 595km (at 8l/100km and 55l tank content the range is 687km-1km). To the info the average consumption changes already If someone has an idea where the fault could lie or if the onboard computer is so inaccurate, then it would be superfluous. Why does the spare lamp start, drive 50 km with approx.10l/100km and get only 49 l into the tank (it should only be 3 l in it.)

special Z4 driving safety training for approx. 150 Euro interest?
Hello guys, I’m thinking about whether it makes sense to organize a driving safety training in NRW (e.g. holders), which is set up with higher speeds and tighter curves for the Z4. At the ADAC the “intensive training” is offered for approx. 150 euros (members 10 euros less). I would still prefer a “perfection training”, but there is hardly any theory contained there, i.e. primarily suitable for those who have already completed a driving safety training. (= still m) The group will not be allowed to be more than 15 people. … rather less. Would it be worth about 150 euros for you? I would organize the whole thing and the training must be paid in advance. Therefore, my brief request to let you know here in the thread if you would be UNFORTLY willing to spend the money. I only suggested the area North Rhine-Westphalia, since most Z4s seem to come here – depending on interest and origin, this will shift so that nobody too far As an appointment I could imagine something in May, at the beginning of the new season. The training lasts a whole day on the weekend. I would start the planning already in January with interest and then demand the money to have a binding registration. (will run with written confirmation of receipt by post) … who cancels as a paid participant can provide a replacement Z4, which is then only changed – logically … here videos From training:http://213.239.204.170/…/index.php?… Website with information on training:http://www.adac-fsz-westfalen.de/ Greetings, Jokin

VIN decoder?
Hello, Jokin once introduced this link to a VIN decoder:http://www.bmw-z1.com/VIN/VINdecode-e.cgi Unfortunately, this doesn’t work for me – no idea if this is on my PC or the decoder. Maybe someone can enter my code and try it out? LN52247 Or does someone know another page where you can decode the VIN number for free? LG, Michael.

Maintenance Z4
Hello together, I signed the contract for the Z4 last week. Now I have a question about the Z4 care: Are there special tips that I should consider regarding leather seats; cover and varnish? Have you already had experience with special care products? Thank you for your help! If I have picked him up, I will let you know. Can’t wait (-; Until then)
